9 Reasons We Must Abolish Government Schools

Tue, 2022-04-12 01:58 +0000

But the education system run by politicians continues to get worse in every way. No matter who is elected and no matter how much pressure parents place on the educators, the system keeps getting worse and never seems to improve in any meaningful way. It is time to get the government completely out of education. Here are the top reasons we must do this as soon as possible:

Asset Forfeiture Reform Bill Passes House, Now In Senate

Thu, 2022-04-07 03:48 +0000

HB1296 will improve judicial economy, enhance due process protections, and restrict circumvention of our criminal asset forfeiture laws. Savings in the judicial system will offset the minimal work added to public defenders. It will further assist law enforcement in their community relations efforts. The time is right to send this bipartisan bill to the governor for his signature.

Corporate Socialism; NH Special Interest Politics

Tue, 2022-04-05 01:33 +0000

Corporate Socialism is the state government’s entanglement with the private sector, in my view, its political agenda is destroying state sovereignty and character as we speak with the one-size-fits-all policies and statewide bureaucratic commissions, all courtesy of Governor Sununu and our “republican” majority.

Hundreds of Well-Armed Gun Owners Rally In Concord

Sun, 2022-04-03 13:56 +0000

On Saturday, April 2nd, around 100-200 gun rights activists showed up at the state’s capital to rally in support of the right to keep and bear arms. Organized by the Women’s Defense League of New Hampshire, the annual pro-gun rally is a popular event in New Hampshire. While there are surely gun rights rallies in all 50 states, two major things set the ‘live free or die’ state apart from the others.

Failed Legislation Would Have Criminalized Upsetting A Police Officer

Fri, 2022-04-01 15:41 +0000

While well-intentioned, HB1025 seems sloppy and could have terrible ramifications for liberty. If it passed, the bill would have made it a “misdemeanor to impede, provoke, or harass a law enforcement officer.”

Morality In A Free State – A Debate On Suicide

Tue, 2022-03-22 04:27 +0000

As I sit here at the keyboard, I find myself hoping-against-hope that in New Hampshire, the nation, and—indeed—the world, there are flavors of libertarianism that reject the one which I contested last week in my debate on legalized suicide at the SHELL.

Free Staters, Liberty Reps Scoring Big Wins In NH House

Fri, 2022-03-18 14:50 +0000

Over the past few weeks, the New Hampshire House has considered dozens of bills. Republicans currently hold a 206-183 majority, with roughly 100 of those Republicans being ‘libertarian’. Over the past few years, thousands of libertarians have moved from authoritarian states to enjoy its unrivaled freedoms and to help the state resist the shift away from liberty that is consuming the rest of the union.

What I Learned From My First Trip to the State House

Fri, 2022-03-18 03:34 +0000

I went to the New Hampshire State House for the first time on March 10th to support a constitutional amendment called CACR32. I handed out an informative flier to state reps and then sat in the gallery and watched the house session. What I learned about this strange cult shocked me. There were three things I thought were true before that day that turned out not to be true at all.

The Next Civil War

Wed, 2022-03-16 03:35 +0000

In January of 2022, Stephen Marche published a book about the inevitable breakup of the union. In writing ‘The Next Civil War’ he clearly conducted extensive research into right wing and left wing ideologies, and the history, legality, and practicality of secession. Personally, I think that the book was fantastic and accurately described the current powder-keg situation within the united states.

Education Policy In The Republic of New Hampshire

Sat, 2022-03-12 00:44 +0000

Once New Hampshire leaves the union, what would our education system look like? Would it collapse without federal funding and support? Would our students suffer? Would we still be able to transfer seamlessly between colleges in other states of the union?
Let’s begin by taking a quick look at the education system within New Hampshire:
