The “Missing” July 31, 2022 Special Gunstock Area Commission Meeting

Mon, 2022-08-15 21:00 +0000

Actually, not so much missing but so much going on with the GAC and the Delegation it’s been hard to keep up.  But to be expected – Wood and Lambert have adopted an Obama tactic that we all first saw at the start of Obama’s first term – too much happening over so many areas of governance in too little time. That’s when the term “Dense Pack” arrived to our politico-terminology and it was derived from Saul Alinsky’s Rules #3 and #8. No one on the Right had ever seen this before and the pressure was 360 all the time.  So, too, here (thank you, Brian Beihl!).

However, I finally got some time last night to process it. While I don’t have the time to put it all up right now, let me put up the two parts that are of most importance (because of lack of time):

The Blindside – right out of the TV reality show Survivor, we see how Commissioners Doug Lambert (of DGF Industrial) and Jade Wood (also NH GOP Area 5 Vice-Chair) engineered that an agreement that Commissioner Dr. David Strang thought was in place (that former General Manager Tom Day and Operations Manager Peter McGonagle would return to the Gunstock Mountain Resort to ensure that Soulfest (which Day has hated for a long time anyways) would come off without a hitch.

Instead, while Strang starts to talk about that agreement, Lambert reads a prepared statement that those two would ONLY come back IF ALL of the Sr. Management were rehired AND Strang resigned. Blindsided and stabbed in the back. And while the pressure point was Soulfest (which, in my opinion, they didn’t care if it came off or not – it was just a political ploy to clear the “GAC political table” to get back in building that hotel), this whole thing was meant, not for an operational issue but for a political one. But I’ve already stated that whole thing a number of times.

Faced with this, Commissioner Dr. David Strang, attending the meeting remotely, offered to resign for the good of the Mountain.  Please note that this has been taken out of consequence in actions and meetings held afterwards in trying to state that Strang said other things when he didn’t.  Here is the transcription of what Strang actually said:

If the Delegation holds an emergency meeting to name additional Commissioners such that a quorum in not jeopardized, and the Commission can continue to function, then I will be happy to tender my resignation.

TWO points: the County Delegation must act, and that act must be that multiple Commissioners must be appointed.  Thus far, the “act” was held during an illegal meeting and only one new Commissioner was “appointed”.  Thus, the conditions were not met.

However, that doesn’t seem to matter as everyone BUT Strang (and those that actually LISTENED to what he said) have all been claiming that he resigned.  Not true.

Then hapless NH State Rep Harry Bean, acting outside of his authority and experience in quoting the Law, stepped in as well and “stepped in it” stating that he had already set the wheels moving for that meeting.  Problem is, he didn’t have the authority to do so under RSA 91A (only the Chair can call an “emergency” meeting and a political disagreement is NOT an emergency) and with his call about having the votes, tried to conflate having the votes (RSA 24:9-d, which would require a SEVEN DAY notice) with RSA 91A’ 24 hour notice.

And it didn’t help that County Attorney Andrew Livernois (who in my estimation is trying to wangle a judgeship out of Sununu so his “grey area letter” gave cover for that meeting) by ALSO mangling a plain reading of both RSAs. And now they’ll all be ending up in court (Sept 20th) over this whole thing.

And it will be the taxpayers that will get hosed over it all.

NYC Threatens to Bus New Yorkers to Texas

Mon, 2022-08-15 19:30 +0000

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, inundated by illegal aliens pouring across an open border – and with no help from the Feds, decided to spread the “wealth.” He started bussing illegals to Washington DC and New York City. NYC Mayor Eric Adams has threatened to “retaliate.”

Fox News

New York City Mayor Eric Adams suggested he would bus New Yorkers down to Texas to campaign against Republican Gov. Greg Abbott for the “good of America” in response to Abbott’s move to bus illegal immigrants from Texas to The Big Apple.

“I already called all my friends in Texas and told them how to cast their votes,” Adams said during a news conference on Tuesday. “And I am deeply contemplating taking a busload of New Yorkers to go to Texas and do some good old-fashioned door knocking because we have to, for the good of America, we have to get him out of office.”

Abbot’s office had this to say in response.

“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” Abbott said in a statement on Friday.

So, true, and as we all know, the migration of residents from NYC and DC to places like Florida, Texas, and even here in New Hampshire has driven the price of homes and rent. Housing shortages are a reflection of the exodus.

After the summer of BLM, people began to flee Democrat-run urban areas. Their endless COVID lockdowns and mandates only made matters worse. Americans were jumping ship and flocking to places where they might be left alone.

Businesses that discovered they could d more remotely stopped paying sky-high rent for office space. And that’s not a bad thing. Eric Adams should have plenty of places to “house” an endless line of buses filled with the sort of people Democrats claim deserve a chance here in the US.

But when given the chance, Eric Adams can only whine about a responsibility he clearly meant someone else to shoulder.

The Return of General Warrants

Mon, 2022-08-15 18:00 +0000

The warrant issued for the recent search — we’re not supposed to use the r-word — at Mar-a-Lago authorized agents to take ‘all physical documents and records constituting evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or other items illegally possessed’ that violate the U.S. Code.

And it authorized them to look at ‘all storage rooms, and all other rooms or areas within the premises used or available to be used by FPOTUS and his staff and in which boxes or documents could be stored, including all structures or buildings on the estate.’

In other words:  Search everywhere for evidence of anything that might be a crime, even crimes we have no reason to believe were committed.

How is this warrant different from the general warrants that helped prompt the American Revolution and that led to the inclusion of the Fourth Amendment¹ in the Bill of Rights?

Lavrentiy (‘Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime‘) Beria must be grinning with delight, wherever he is now.

¹ You know, the one that requires probable cause to believe that a specific crime has been committed, and for a subsequent warrant to ‘particularly describe the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized’.

Monday Memes (Sort of)

Mon, 2022-08-15 16:30 +0000

With Nitzakhon needing another hiatus, I thought I might see about filling in while he is “away.” How do we, after all, manage the week without a fresh dose of Monday Memes? Sure, we can do it, but do we want to do it?

And no, it is not long or as strictly political as his, but there is foolishness and mockery.

Language and trigger warning …

This is my first attempt at using what’s called the block editor. It seemed like the only “easy” way to publish a changing layout like this. I hope it wasn’t too much trouble to view or engage and my apologies for how short it is. Future attempts at covering for Nitzakhon will (hopefully) be better!

Gunstock – About That Oath That Commissioners Lambert / Wood Keep Yammering That Ness and Strang Have Broken??

Mon, 2022-08-15 15:00 +0000

So, yet another post in this now long-running series chronicling what seems to be a coup d’etat over the Gunstock Area Commission but one that goes to the heart of the demagoguery used by Commissioners Doug Lambert (of DGF Industrial) and Jade Wood (NH GOP Area 5 Vice-Chair).  Ever since the two of them went rogue and “switched sides” (supporting the monied oligarchs that are ticked over losing their “playtoy”), they have constantly used a rhetorical trick to perfection – accusing former Commissioner Peter Ness and STILL Commissioner Dr. David Strang of violating their oath of office.  Well, here is that oath (here, page 9):

It’s rather simple and very much modeled after the actual Oath for public office that is mandated in the NH Constitution (Part Second, Oaths and Subscriptions Exclusion from Offices, Etc.). However, Lambert and Wood have used it, not as a verifying tool but as a political cudgel about the figurative head and shoulders of Ness (in which it worked) and Strang (who has brushed it off thus far).  Over, and over, and over, and over again, in utilizing Saul Alinsky tactics,  Lambert and Wood have said, and at times, screamed “YOU HAVE VIOLATED YOUR OATH” and/or told the crowd “They/<insert name here> violated their Oaths!”.

It hit me yesterday as I finally got around to processing the video from the July 31, 2020, GAC special meeting:

Really?

No, not so much. They’ve said it over and over and over again. Constantly whining about it and over it.  Yet I realized that they NEVER ONCE said what was wrong! Just pounding that “you violated it!!”.  Not ONCE did they state to anyone (that I know of, certainly in no public meeting) HOW, WHEN, or WHERE they did “violate their oaths”. Instead, they POLITICIZED that oath (above) in using Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals (Pick the target, freeze it, politicize it) and used it to browbeat and demagogued it to death

So, Commissioners Lambert and Wood, let me ask these really simple questions (like elementary school level):

  • WHEN did they violate their oaths?
  • WHERE did they violate their oaths?
  • HOW did they violate their oaths?
  • What LAW (NH RSA) did they break?
  • What REGULATION did they disregard?
  • Name the RULE that they mangled?
  • Which GAC BYLAW did they torture?

and most importantly, WHICH ARTICLE, in either the NH or US Constitution did they violate?

Nope, not even a wisp of an answer has been forthcoming. You see, that would be telling the truth, that would be acknowledging that they turned it into a talking point – with no substance behind it. Great to hurl at someone and if done repeatedly with anger in one’s voice, you can get away with it…

…for a while. Until somebody like that little boy in the fable of the Emperor’s New Clothes pointed out that the Emperor’s new clothes are just a figment of one’s imagination without any real substance to it.

So, too, in this real world example; what Lambert and Wood have used as epithet holds just as much substance as that “magic” cloth.

My Pick for Governor of New Hampshire

Mon, 2022-08-15 13:30 +0000

All the republican candidates running this year for governor are great candidates (exception, Sununu, who does not want to answer questions or be seen with us common people), but we can only choose one.

I and many others support Karen Testerman as our candidate for Governor for the September 13th primary. Why, well, listen to the Resolve debate and see how she answered all the questions and especially a critical question of “What is the source of your authority as Governor”?

You will find out she was the ONLY candidate who said first, GOD is the authority, second, the Constitution of New Hampshire, and third, the constitution of the United States. Karen understands our only hope for NH is in God.

We want to thank John Sellers for this Op-Ed. Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

We all need to return to God, ask for His mercy and forgiveness for NH, and rely on Him first and foremost going forward. We as a state and nation have lost track of where we began.

The pilgrims came to America for freedom, and they relied on God for wisdom and knowledge. From there, many years later, we ended up with state and national constitutions (to protect us from tyranny and overreaching governments) from Godly people who created them and voted to accept them.

We, the people, lost track of WHO is really in charge of our lives, politics, and who holds what office and for how long (John 19:11, Jesus answering Pilate said, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above.”). Without God, we have seen what has happened in just a very short period of time.

Polls are just a snapshot taken at one moment in time. Thad Riley can win one poll and Karen Testerman another, they mean little. One moment she’s ahead, and another, he is. Karen has been persistent over the years. Karen will put God back into our vocabulary so we as a state can survive what is coming at us fast and furious. She has the will and courage to lead us during these difficult times.

She never wants to see another mandate put upon us. Karen is well aware of education issues like school funding, CRT, ESL (emotional, social learning will lead to a social credit score, there will be nothing the school/government will not know about your child), and Parental Rights. She is on top of the abortion issue and gun rights. She will do her absolute best to protect the people of NH from our overreaching federal government. She is NH first, then the USA. She wants the people of NH to be safe and free as possible.

We LIVE FREE OR DIE!!!

The last thing we want to do is split the vote four ways, and Sununu wins by default. We have only a few weeks left to get our ducks in a row, so stay tuned, stay diligent, and let’s vote as a team and win. Even if I have to give up my pick for governor, I will for the team, but It’s my hope, Karen is our pick.

Bragging About Buckets of Money

Mon, 2022-08-15 12:00 +0000

Vermont Biz is bragging about a bucket of money they got after it was laundered by the Feds. It is a $20 million-dollar renewal grant from the National Institutes of Health. Get a load of this!

Vermont and Maine have the oldest populations in the U.S., which coupled with rurality, predisposes northern New Englanders to health challenges including cancer, substance use disorders, food insecurity, obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and cardiovascular disease.

So, the NIH is handing out other people’s money to help the rural populations in aging states that they failed to kill with their COVID policy genocide. That’s nice. People who will need assistance after being denied doctor’s visits or surveillance testing. Individuals whose cost of living has skyrocketed under Democrats.

Once the COVID-19 pandemic became a threat to health throughout the region, the NNE-CTR also supported the NIH-funded RECOVER study of long COVID, a study of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, as well as the National COVID Cohort Collaborative registry that shares clinical data as a part of national COVID research.

I think it’s time for us to accept that the biggest threat to public health, especially to the aging in America, is the people tasked with overseeing public health.

The best thing Maine of Vermont could do for them is to find ways to protect them from the Federal Government and not tie them (or their own taxpayers) to more inside-the-beltway strings.

It is a problem that will continue to get worse as States refuse to push back against Federal policy designed to make not just individuals but states more dependent on the Federal government. And not just in Maine and Vermont.

Sunday Sermon (On Monday): We Might As Well Start With A Big One.

Mon, 2022-08-15 10:30 +0000

Billy Graham was known to say, “teach with your Bible in one hand and the newspaper in the other.” Sound advice, for without a newspaper, it’s hard to know what people are thinking, and without the Bible, it’s impossible to convey what God is thinking.

“Sunday sermons” will be my take on the issues of the day from a Bible-informed perspective, and that perspective is influenced by my generation (Boomer), gender (Male), and denominational background (Baptist). I have no shortage of personal opinions, and inevitably those ideas will creep into this column.

I have presuppositions, and I want you to know them upfront. I believe that the Judeo-Christian God created everything, knows everything, and ultimately has a plan for everything. I also believe that the Bible is a reliable source of wisdom from God that we can depend on in this modern era. I am politically a Conservative, and when it comes to sports- I root for Boston teams.

Listen, I know there are religious skeptics and people with other belief systems. I am just sharing my thoughts. I am not seeking to launch a theocracy or coerce you into my patterns of belief. My belief in Soul Liberty would make me a poor religious tyrant.

We might as well start with a big one. Whoopi Goldberg recently asserted on The View that God supports abortion. She backed that up by saying, “As you know, God doesn’t make mistakes. God made us smart enough to know when it wasn’t going to work for us. That’s the beauty of giving us freedom of choice.”

Freedom of choice is indeed God-given. We are not pre-programmed. We can choose among courses of action. However, that does not mean all choices are equally pleasing to God. Some choices are sins. Sins, if you paid attention in Sunday school, are what separate us from God. The consequence of sin is eternal separation from God.

As a sidebar, we are all sinners and already separated from God. He eagerly wants us to seek forgiveness and for us to be restored, and that’s another column for another day, but the only way to be reconciled to Him is a relationship with Jesus his Son.

But free will, as proof that God smiles on abortion, does not work. Sorry, Whoopi.

Here are some points of scripture to help shape your thinking: Exodus 20:13 says, “you shall not murder.” Murder here refers to an unjust taking of innocent life. It does not condemn capital punishment, defending your family against an intruder, or fatalities in war.

Proverbs 6:16-19 list “six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to Him,” among them, we find “hands that shed innocent blood”. This is clear, babies are noted for their innocence.

There are verses that state that God knew us in the womb, knitted us together before we were born, and in Luke, we hear that, before he was born, John the Baptist reacted to the presence of Jesus… he had a spiritual encounter. Familiarity with scripture leads us to accept a baby as a person even before birth.

This is a critical difference between pro-life and pro-choice people because abortion proponents insist that an abortion is not murder but a medical procedure that removes not a person but simply a “cluster of cells.” They argue that a woman’s choice to control her own body supersedes any rights a merely “potential” life may have.

We seldom have had a better opportunity to persuade undecided people to adopt our way of thinking on this topic. Triumphant posturing will not win hearts and minds. Prolifers, at least the ones I have met, have zero interest in forcing women into reproductive slavery. Nor do we want a return to barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen as a lifestyle for women.

As a matter of fact, prolifers want to preserve human life and uphold the rights of all of us.

So, Whoopi, I believe God is firmly against the murdering of innocents. And yes, I believe that includes preborn children. One of the common responses we hear from the left is that Republicans are not pro-life but only pro-birth. Their idea is that Republicans should bear the responsibility for raising the babies we want rescued from abortion.

Guess what? I agree with that assessment at least as far as Christians are concerned. The Bible repeatedly describes believers taking care of widows, orphans, and immigrants. For our part, believing as we do, my wife and I have fostered 36 kids and of those, adopted eight.

A Hassan in Populist Clothing: Maggie’s Messaging Cleanup

Mon, 2022-08-15 01:30 +0000

Watching recent commercials, one would be forgiven their surprise to learn that Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) is apparently a great populist. If only our natural memories were as short as the Senator seems to hope, this strategy might hold water.

But to those living in New Hampshire, her ideological record is plainly known to be nothing more than the sanitized socialism advocated by her junior Democrat colleagues in the congress.

Hassan has ever been the advocate of increased tax and regulation in New Hampshire, making her recent populist guise all the more transparent. Indeed, the commercials her campaign has lately released espousing her opposition to the Biden agenda have timed well with what appears to be a serious effort to disinfect such other public materials as her Wikipedia page.

And that cleanup effort has not been minor.

In June 2022, the section of her Wikipedia entry entitled ‘Controversies’ was removed: a section that had previously detailed incidents in which one of Hassan’s congressional interns shouted “f**k you” at then-president Donald Trump, and worse, where Hassan staffers Jackson Cosko and Samantha Davis pleaded guilty to federal crimes for illegally accessing and disseminating the personal information of five Republican Senators, no longer occupies a prominent place in her biography.

In other recent instances of Wikipedia editing, her husband Thomas’ censure by the Association of Boarding Schools for failing to disclose the sexual misconduct of a former teacher at Phillips Exeter Academy was excised; meanwhile, her cross-party support for extending the so-called ‘Remain in Mexico Policy’ was prominently added to the Senator’s resume, in line with her newfound role as some born-again moderate. The relevant section headline on Wikipedia was recently changed from “Undocumented Immigration” to “Illegal Immigration” and finally to “Immigration,” in what is likely another superficial attempt at conservatizing her record.

Is this not the same woman who, during her tenure in the New Hampshire State Senate, did little but offer her vocal and legislative support to over thirty tax increases? Who was later described even by The Atlantic in 2014 as “[speaking] in the sort of scripted, too-boring-to-quote genericisms that drive reporters crazy?” Who, at least as of last September, voted with President Biden’s political agenda 100% of the time? Are we really to believe that such an unremarkable leftist has now formed strong party-bending opinions in support of the American taxpayer? Or is this newest performance by Sen. Hassan simply a bald attempt to limn a political kinship that she hasn’t earned?

Hassan’s populist pantomime is as ridiculous as it is irritating. Her late resistance to the Biden agenda springs only from electoral necessity and not from any longstanding policy positions. The well-known fact that even her gubernatorial campaigns were supported by over $11 million in outside spending from D.C. Democrat syndicates offers but only a fraction of the many reasons why New Hampshire voters know Maggie’s new brand to be a farce. Costly commercials only belie the ultimate falseness of her claim of populism and are an insult to those New Hampshire citizens who have personally seen the negative impact of her true political sympathies.

Senator Hassan is a leftist and ought to be known as one.

The Hillary Clinton Email Song That Broke The Internet

Mon, 2022-08-15 00:00 +0000

I’m not sure if it broke the internet, but it had to have done some damage. And it’s clever as heck. Actual statements backed by music and mixed to create The Hillary Clinton Email Song that Broke the Internet.

It’s funny, but then you have to accept that the FBI will never raid any Clinton property in search of nefarious contraband, documents, or evidence of anything. Ever. We have known that since piles of FBI files were found in her possession in the 90s when Bill was warming the chair behind the Resolute Desk.

She was working on her enemies list, and not much has changed at the FBI unless by changed, you mean it’s gotten worse.

Not a happy place, but for now, there’s this. 2min 6 sec.

Now I Know Why Matt Mowers is Hiding in His Basement Like Joe Biden

Sun, 2022-08-14 22:30 +0000

The Government Integrity Project held a debate on August 13, 2022, between candidates for New Hampshire’s U.S. Congressional District 1. Tim Baxter, Gail Huff-Brown, Karoline Leavitt, and Russell Prescott all participated.

Noticeably missing was Matt Mowers! But not because he wasn’t invited. He was!

After hearing his opponents on Saturday, I now understand why Matt Mowers is hiding. All four candidates on stage clearly showed why they would represent NH better than he would. The candidates were honest, respectful, and revealed their character that is worthy of serving NH in Washington.

By hiding, Mowers is apparently trying to ride out a wave of controversies that is building to a crescendo. The bottom line is that Mowers is unelectable in the General Election in November – and he knows it. But he is hoping for a miracle like an endorsement from someone really influential that will make enough people hold their noses and vote for him despite those skeletons in his past.

If Mowers somehow gets past the GOP Primary and is the Republican nominee… he won’t be able to hide from Chris Pappas – and Pappas is going to eat his lunch.

That is why it is important for voters to know there are excellent alternatives, as clearly displayed in the video of the debate that took place on 8/13/22.

Mowers is accurately mentioned and referred to by his opponents multiple times – but never in a positive light.

Not too long into the debate, you, too will see that every candidate on stage would represent NH better than Mowers would. The video above is queued up to the introductions.

How you cast your sacred vote in the primary on September 13, 2022, is your decision. Please do some homework and cast an informed vote. The video above is a good place to start.

So I chatted with the Belknap County Administrator about the August 1st Meeting of Belknap County Delegation

Sun, 2022-08-14 21:00 +0000

Are you above the Law?  Or don’t even care?

Yes, a “chucklehead edition post” – or the politically craven, or those too scared to do the right things because “I WANT TO GET REELECTED” (and don’t want the ginned up mob to be angry at me anymore!!!). And the realization hit me that in the posting of any future meeting, as opposed to how the Law is written, it seems that ANY NH State Representative in Belknap County can call a meeting anytime they want in any WAY that they want – no questions asked and who cares about what the Law says!!

I had called Debbie Shackett, the Belknap County Administrator, last week to ask for the minutes of the meeting and I asked about WHICH RSA was used when NH State Rep Harry Bean “called the meeting” for Monday, August 1st.. Her response was that he didn’t state ANY RSA even though there are two (as I have listed before in other posts; relisted here again) that control the calling of meetings: RSA 91A:2 (for most meetings, including “emergency” meetings) and RSA 24 (strictly controls how County Delegations are to act – and in the absence of verbiage supporting an action, what CANNOT be done):

RSA 91A:2 II

…An emergency shall mean a situation where immediate undelayed action is deemed to be imperative by the chairman or presiding officer of the public body,

RSA 24:9-c (relevant parts bolded)

Further Meetings. – The chairperson of the convention or a majority of the members of the convention may, and the chairperson of the convention upon the written request of the county commissioners shall, call a further meeting or meetings of the county convention….

RSA 24:9-d

The clerk of the convention, or his or her designee, shall mail to each member of the convention a notice stating the time, place and purpose of further meetings at least 7 days before the day of the meeting and shall cause to be published a like notice at least 7 days before the day of the meeting in a newspaper of general circulation in the county. Mailing such notice is not required during any session of the general court, if the notice is printed for 2 legislative days in the journal of the house of representatives.

So with that, I had asked Debbie forwarded the Meeting Minutes to me as well as which reps constituted the quorum (a certain number of Reps have to physically show up at a meeting in order for a meeting to be legal:

—— Original Message ——
From: “Debra A. Shackett” <dshackett@belknapcounty.org>
To: “skip@granitegrok.com” <skip@granitegrok.com>
Sent: 8/12/2022 4:21:37 PM
Subject: requests for information

I‘ve attached the minutes of the meeting from 8/1/22.
The meeting was called by a quorum of the Delegation.  Those Representatives are: Bean, Trottier, Hough, O’Hara, Plosjaz, Harvey-Boulia, Bordes, Mackey, Johnson, Littlefield, and Lang.

Debra

Debra A. Shackett,
County Administrator & HR Director
34 County Dr.
Laconia, NH 03246
(603) 729-1286
dshackett@belknapcounty.org

11 Reps were part of the quorum calling for a meeting – satisfying RSA 24:0-c as none of them were the Chair of the Delegation (that would be NH State Rep Mike Sylvia) or the Vice-Chair (NH State Rep Ray Howard at the time, now resigned as required as he has moved out of state, but still leaving 18 State ).  I have NO problem with them calling such a meeting, other than the “emergency” is not that of a natural disaster, no one has been injured or killed,  nor physical plant (lifts, buildings, computer systems) but simply political dispute that, by definition, isn’t an “emergency” – in this case, just a hyped up and politicized event by those supporting the Citizens of Belknap whose goal is tear the Republican Party within Belknap County asunder.

Which meant that RSA249-d had to be used – and required a 7 day notice mailed to the Reps.  Or, if in session, a notice in the NH House Journal(s). I couldn’t find any such thing as to an  “emergency meeting” in any Journal. Given that Harry had said that he was calling for an emergency meeting for Monday on the previous Friday’s GAC meeting  so that option, IF HE HAD OBEYED THE LAW, was not available.   It had to be a 7 day notice.

So he, and the other Reps that attended, by a simple reading of the plain Law,  broke that Law.  Great, ALL of you chuckleheads that attended – we elect you to make our laws and you can’t be bothered to obey the Law pertaining to YOU??  Then why should we, the little people, follow the Law that you pass?  Are you above the Law?  Or don’t even care?

NH State Rep Bean called a 24 hour emergency meeting – as if RSA 91A-2 (above) could be mixed in like a Chinese menu (pick one from Column A, two from Column B, and one from Column C).  Or he just didn’t care: a FAUX EMERGENCY!!!

So, enough about calling the meeting – the plain reading of the Law says exactly what they can and can’t do (and County Attorney Andrew Livernois helped them do so, IMHO).  On to the meeting (emphasis mine in highlighting sections of the Minutes):

Belknap County Delegation Meeting Minutes
Aug 1, 2022 at 7:00 PM- Emergency Meeting
Gunstock Mountain Lodge

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Rep. Bean, who noted that this was an emergency meeting and then led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Bean stated that the Delegation would not be taking public comments during the meeting.

Motion: Hough to appoint Harvey-Bolia as acting secretary.
Second: Bordes
No discussion
Vote: 9 Yes, 0 No – Motion PASSED

Notice that vote count above: 9 Yes, 0 No. A total of 9 votes.

Now note that a quorum of the Delegation must have 10 Reps physically in attendance as there are 18 NH State Reps in . TEN.  There were only nine.

The meeting should have been stopped right then and there for a lack of a physical quorum.  TEN (for the Belknap Delegation) have to be in that location – and there were not ten present.

Also, consider this from 91A:2

III. A public body may, but is not required to, allow one or more members of the body to participate in a meeting by electronic or other means of communication for the benefit of the public and the governing body, subject to the provisions of this paragraph.
(a) A member of the public body may participate in a meeting other than by attendance in person at the location of the meeting only when such attendance is not reasonably practical. Any reason that such attendance is not reasonably practical shall be stated in the minutes of the meeting.
(b) Except in an emergency, a quorum of the public body shall be physically present at the location specified in the meeting notice as the location of the meeting. For purposes of this subparagraph, an “emergency” means that immediate action is imperative and the physical presence of a quorum is not reasonably practical within the period of time requiring action. The determination that an emergency exists shall be made by the chairman or presiding officer of the public body, and the facts upon which that determination is based shall be included in the minutes of the meeting.

There was no IMMEDIATE imperative need for this meeting – it was politically disagreement based as I said, on mere “political expediency”.  The Chair had not declared an emergency.

Again, the Law is quite clear – only the Chair can call an emergency meeting.  State Rep Bean was not the Chair at the time of calling the meeting.

Further, the nature of the “emergency” (even if a false one) is not mentioned or enumerated in the minutes as required. Accepting resignations are not emergency actions. Appointing a GAC Commissioner is not an emergency action.  Removing a GAC Commissioner, while unusual, is not an emergency action (see the changed Agenda below)

These are normal, everyday functions of a Delegation as outlined in the Law.

Motion: Rep. Hough motioned to allow Rep. Lang to participate remotely.
Second: O’Hara
No discussion
Vote: 9 Yes, 0 No – Motion PASSED

Again, NO reason was given – in violation of the Law.

Harvey-Bolia called the roll.

Members in attendance: Reps Bean, Hough, Harvey-Bolia, Lang (electronically), Ploszaj, O’Hara, Bordes, Littlefield, Trottier, and Mackie
Absent: Sylvia, Aldrich, Silber, Comtois, Johnson, Terry, Varney

Note the incongruence here – LESS than a quorum of the State Reps voted to allow NH State Rep Lang to participate telephonically (again, with no reason in the minutes) in order to form a quorum.

And now, as we are a Dillon’s Rule State (meaning that only those things can be done by a subdivision of the State specifically enumerated in State Law), we see the Delegation operating OUTSIDE THE LAW again.  If you read the specific words of RSA 24, there is no mention of a status of “acting” anything – not an acting Chair, not an acting Vice-Chair, and not an acting Secretary.

Sidenote: such a misogynist bunch of boys – immediately selecting the only female present to be the secretary.

Rep. Bean verified that ten members are present, constituting a quorum of the Delegation.

Sorry, Rep Bean – less than a quorum of the Delegation, per RSA91A, cannot vote to allow another member to attend telephonically in order to create a quorum!  Show me otherwise! Once again, breaking the Law to make decisions should have been an immediate Red Flag to you ALL.  And yet, you persisted.

Motion: Hough to appoint Harry Bean acting chair
Second: Ploszaj
No discussion
Vote: 10 Yes, 0 No – Motion PASSED

Motion: Littlefield to appoint Hough as acting vice-chair
Second: O’Hara
No discussion
Vote: 10 Yes, 0 No Motion PASSED

Motion: Hough to move to change the order of the agenda to 1: Accept the resignation of Gunstock Area Commissioners Ness and Kiedaisch. 2. To appoint a new commissioner to the GAC, and 3. Any other urgent business required to open Gunstock Mountain Resort.
Second: Littlefield
No discussion
Vote: 10 Yes, 0 No- Motion PASSED

Motion: Hough to accept the resignations of Commissioners Ness and Kiedaisch.
Second: Trottier
No Discussion
Vote:10 Yes, 0-No – Motion PASSED

Hough motions To Appoint a new Gunstock Area Commissioner to the GAC, the appointment to expire in Nov, 2023. The process will be explained by Rep. Bean.
Second: O’Hara
No discussion.
Vote: 10 Yes, 0- No – Motion PASSED

Rep. Bean explained that applicants had two minutes to deliver a speech to the Delegation. Votes will be taken after the speeches. The Delegation called upon the following applicants for Gunstock Commissioner:

Michael Newhall- not present.

Dan Calmurton- not present

Denise Conroy- Ms. Conroy of Alton made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation. Conroy disclosed that her husband is a ski instructor at Gunstock. She is new to the area but she has extensive experience in marketing.

She just admitted that she has a conflict of interest – being an “Overwatcher” that will be making decisions that could have a material effect on an immediate family member.

Rick Hassler- Mr. Hassler made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation. Mr. Hassler said he does not know the upper management.

Michelle Cardona-Flanders-not present

Angelo Farruggia- made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation. He stated he does not have any ties to Gunstock employees.

Chuck Mitchell-not present

Charles Bradford-not present

Bob Durfee – made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation. He is a former Gunstock Area commissioner. Durfee is an engineer and works on Dubois and King engineering projects. He is the lead structural engineer and has recused himself when appropriate during past GAC votes.

John Lowell- of Center Harbor, made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation.

Andrew Howe- of Gilford, a groomer at Gunstock made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation. He has known Tom Day for over 30 years.

Dick Tapply- former Gunstock Manager, made a brief presentation and answered questions of a general nature from the delegation. He withdrew his application due to a conflict of interest.

Votes were taken by roll call for the GAC appointment:
5 votes for D. Conroy
4 votes for Durfee
1 vote for John Lowell

Round 2:
7 votes for Denise Conroy
3 votes for B. Durfee
Rep. Bean swore in Denise Conroy as the new Gunstock Area Commissioner. A notary public stamped her appointment paperwork.

Motion: Hough moved to accept David Strang’s resignation from the Gunstock Areas Commission.
Second: Trottier seconded.

Discussion: Hough explained that during the GAC meeting of July 31, 2022, Comm. Strang stated that he would resign under the condition that the GAC had a quorum with which to do their business. Hough added that with the appointment of a new GAC Commissioner, the condition of resignation is fulfilled and Strang’s resignation could be accepted.

“Would” does not mean “Has”.  Did the Delegation have something in writing from Dr. Strang that officially to his conditional resignation?  Gary Kiedaisch made it clear: “I quit”.  Did Strang ever say those specific words?  I think not.  He only was stating what the conditions were under which he WOULD quit – and not a formal statement of his resignation.

I have the video of that exchange where Strang was out of state and participating telephonically; both GAC Commissioners Lambert and Wood were constantly browbeating him constantly to achieve their political agenda by demanding that he resign right then.  To be honest, I have yet to process that video and it will show that Strang NEVER agreed to resign.

Thus, NH State Rep Gregg Hough was wrong.

Roll call vote: 9 Yes, 1 No, Motion PASSED.

Rep. Bean recognized Littlefield for a statement. Littlefield made a general statement commending those who worked for a resolution in the struggle to re-open Gunstock.

Rep. Bean made a statement of appreciation to Delegation members and Gunstock staff for their work.

Motion: Hough moved to adjourn.

Second: Trottier

Vote: Yes- Unanimous voice vote

A true copy, I attest.
Rep. Juliet Harvey-Bolia, Secretary

So this meeting, in my eyes, was illegal in several different ways:

  • Illegal in HOW it was called
  • Illegal in WHO called the meeting
  • Illegal in that a physical quorum was not present.
  • Illegal in that less than a physical quorum voted to accept NH State Rep Tim Lang to join the meeting and THEN declaring a quorum
  • Illegal in that NH State Reps Bean and Hough were appointed to “acting” positions to which there is no mention of such statuses in RSA 24.

Thus, any decisions made in this meeting should be vacated:

  • The acceptance of the two GAC resignations
  • Forcing the resignation of Commissioner Strang by manipulating his words.
  • Appointing a new GAC Commissioner to fill a vacant term.

There Is Only One Way To Correct Our Course

Sun, 2022-08-14 19:30 +0000

Political polling data can often be confusing and misleading. A recent Monmouth University poll indicates that the vast majority of Americans – 88 percent, in fact – believe the country is on the wrong track. Other polls support those results with similar numbers.

They suggest that Americans are fed up with Joe Biden’s radical agenda and that the red wave in November, predicted by many, would bring the country back on course.

Yet incredibly – paradoxically – the same Monmouth University poll shows that by a narrow margin, most people prefer to see Democrats in control of Congress. It shows that 38 percent of respondents prefer a Democrat controlled Congress, and only 36 percent want Republicans to take control.

Even in this environment of deep political division, the contradiction makes no sense. If nearly all Americans agree that the country is on the wrong track, why would any of them support a Democrat majority in Congress, and a continuation of Biden’s calamitous agenda?

Even if Democrat lawmakers now seem ready to dump Biden, they have blindly supported his radical agenda for the past year and a half, and there’s no doubt they’ll continue to do so if they retain control of Congress.

But how can we explain the contradictory numbers? If nearly all Americans believe this radical agenda is taking us in the wrong direction, why would they not vote for change?

There are several possible explanations.

Perhaps the polling data is flawed, or maybe we’re misinterpreting it. It’s possible that some of those who believe we’re headed in the wrong direction actually think Biden hasn’t lurched far enough to the left. They know that a Democrat majority in Congress would help push his radical agenda even further to the left.

Blind party loyalty probably also has something to do with the polling contradiction. For some, party loyalty overrides everything – even common sense. They may be unhappy with the direction we’ve taken, but they believe the Democrat Party is still the answer to our problems. They’re somehow unable to understand the concept of cause-and-effect, and refuse to accept the fact that the problems we face today are directly attributed to the policies of the Biden administration.

Others may be conflicted or confused in the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision on Roe vs. Wade. Nonstop propaganda by pro-abortion advocates has undoubtedly convinced them that Republicans are bent on suppressing women’s rights and outlawing all abortions. In fact, the SCOTUS decision simply recognized that abortion is not mentioned in the Constitution, and returned the issue to the states, where the people set the laws on abortion at the ballot box.

Whatever their reasons for wanting Democrats to control Congress, most reasonable people agree that this administration is taking us in the wrong direction.

The energy policies and frivolous spending of this administration has given us the highest inflation rate in 40 years. The Democrat soft-on-crime position has resulted in an unprecedented surge in crime across the country. The Biden agenda has allowed millions of unscreened foreign citizens and tons of dangerous drugs to illegally cross into our country. It’s facilitating the indoctrination of our children – teaching them the finer points of gender fluidity and racist ideology, while their math and reading scores continue to plummet. And the flagrant political bias of its Justice Department has resulted in widespread distrust of our entire federal government.

Throughout all of this, Congressional Democrats have stood solidly behind the radical, un-American, and often bizarre decisions of one man, a man who shows clear signs of mental impairment. They may be planning to usher him out the door in the coming months, but their unanimous and unflinching support of Biden and his radical agenda over the past year and a half has gotten us where we are today.

As in all free societies, regular elections offer voters the opportunity to change the direction of their country. John F. Kennedy knew that the people control the direction and the destiny of their country. He wrote: “We, the people are the boss and we will get the kind of political leadership, be it good or bad, that we demand and deserve.”

Other historic figures before him offered variations of the same advice – or warning: In a democracy, the voters get the government they deserve. If we don’t change direction soon, we will get a government that no longer resembles a democracy, and we will be deserving of it.

Administration That “Ignored” Epstein Island is Investigating the Southern Baptist Convention Over Sexual Abuse

Sun, 2022-08-14 18:00 +0000

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) allegedly has a history of issues with sexual assaults or abuse. It’s likely not as extensive as the government schools, but the Biden Administration can always use another distraction, so the SBC just drew the short straw.

“The SBC Executive Committee recently became aware that the Department of Justice has initiated an investigation into the Southern Baptist Convention, and that the investigation will include multiple SBC entities,” the church’s executive leadership said in a statement. “Individually and collectively each SBC entity is resolved to fully and completely cooperate with the investigation.”

The SBC said that they were already working on addressing past alleged instances of abuse as evidenced by a recent investigation that they had completed.

“We recognize our reform efforts are not finished,” the church said. “In fact, those efforts are continuing this very moment as the recently announced Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force begins its work and as each entity has strengthened its efforts to protect against abuse.”

Well, of course, they are – you don’t admit to having issues like this and then refuse to cooperate with a militant armed entity with a more prolonged and more extensive history of same. The Party of sexual abuse is currently in charge in DC and has a decades-long stranglehold on the army of bureaucrats that are their boots on the ground. Telling them to go screw might not be a good idea. They know where the rhetorical “bodies” are most likely hiding.

Or where they could claim to find them.

The SBC is the most conservative religious “congregation” in America. A Christian institution, the Left has failed to properly penetrate and undermine. One that had had its problems, but nothing compared to the debauchery of the Left evidenced in the form of Jeffrey Epstein (D – Didn’t kill himself). A guy who was executed because he could have exposed too many influential people as sexual abusers themselves.

And don’t get me wrong, if abuse is happening, it needs to stop, and the abusers need to be dealt with, but that applies to everyone, not just targets of the state that happen to coincidentally represent a potential barrier to their political program.

A barrier that could expect a visit from a phalanx of new IRS agents who are expected to be both armed and willing to use deadly force.

Alec Baldwin Proved Innocent By FBI

Sun, 2022-08-14 16:30 +0000

Apparently, the FBI has concluded, after testing the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins, that it could not be fired except with the hammer fully cocked, and only then by pulling the trigger.

Which is the same conclusion that I reached, in my own tests, almost a year ago.

But given its recent track record for competence and veracity, I have to believe that the FBI is either wrong or lying about the result.

Which would mean that I was wrong, and Alec Baldwin is innocent.  Because if you can’t mistrust the FBI, who can you mistrust?

The Direct Line From COVID To The FBI’s Assault On Mar-A-Lago

Sun, 2022-08-14 15:00 +0000

What do you think would have happened if Trump’s FBI had raided Obama’s mega-million Martha’s Vineyard estate?

I’m absolutely certain that the BLM and Antifa riots of 2020 would have looked like child’s play in comparison to the Left’s reaction. Hundreds of cities and suburbs across America would have been looted and burned to the ground. The White House would have been stormed and likely occupied by thousands of “largely peaceful protesters.” Trump would have been immediately impeached and convicted by overwhelmingly “bipartisan” votes.

We have not seen cities looted or burned. The White House has not been stormed. Our side plays nice. The Biden-regime knew we would play nice in response to Mar-a-Lago because COVID showed that we are a broken and timid people. We grumbled at the oppression and the lunacy … masks work, but you still need to wear a mask to protect me even though I am wearing a mask … but went along with it. A people that allows itself to be locked down, masked up and shot up with experimental drugs is not a people that our permanent, unelected government needs to fear.

The GOP’s pledge to hold hearings after the midterms is laughable and pathetic. As if the FBI, DOJ, IRS, and the rest of our permanent unelected government give a damn. Garland, Wray, etc. will simply thumb their noses at the GOP Congress … like Eric Holder and Lois Lerner did. The Biden-regime will indict Trump, put him on trial before a corrupt DC judge and jury, and convict him … the 2024 version of stealing the election. And probably half the Senate GOP want exactly that.

There is no hope left. The FBI is the Stasi and half the country celebrates that, while half the country is resigned to it or persist in the delusion that a Republican Congress will actually bring the permanent unelected government to heel.

Dem Campaign Ad Tries to Pass Off Left-Wing Lawyer-Activist as Blue Collar Mechanic

Sun, 2022-08-14 13:30 +0000

New Hampshire Congresscrat Chris Pappas is the first Member of that body to kill someone with their Restaurant (of which I am aware). He’s also gay or something as if that makes you better at anything but being gay. Oh, and he has a deceptive campaign ad (surprise!).

Pappas’s first ad of the 2022 circus tries to paint the wealthy liberal Congress member as an everyday guy among everyday guys, except that he doesn’t appear to know any, which is odd because he owns a restaurant. In the ad, there is a “rugged guy rolling up the door at the auto repair shop in the first few seconds of the ad. He looks out at the city, ready for another day of honest labor and hard work in the shop.”

Now, take another look at him. That is actually Alan Raff, a white-collar attorney who works in a Concord law office and is chairman of the Manchester Democrats. He formerly worked in the offices of the New Hampshire Senate as a Democratic staffer.

“Running a small business is hard work. There are early mornings and late nights.” So let’s vote to send hundreds of billions to Ukraine and hundreds of billions more on failed green energy projects that will make running that business more expensive. Oh, and 87,000 more IRS agents.

As previously reported here, Pappas votes for whatever Joe Biden supports 100 percent of the time. Anyone who doesn’t have their head shoved up Joe’s ideological ass knows this is responsible for the worst economy in most of our lifetimes, record high prices, shortages, attacks on individual liberty, constitutional rights, misery, and malaise.

I’m not sure what’s more embarrassing, Pappas trying to pass off a lawyer as Joe six-pack or the way members of his party will nod and wipe a tear from their eye when they see the ad and are convinced Chris Pappas is a champion of the little guy.

If that were true, shouldn’t they have hired one for the ad?

Oh, one more point. Mr. Pappas – in the same ad – says he’s taking on the Pharmaceutical companies. I think that means letting the US government hand billions more to Pfizer for Paxlovid, which the FDA’s data shows is less effective than inexpensive OTC vitamins like Querciten that people who need it could buy themselves for a few bucks.

It’s all an act of fraud. This commercial is just more of the same.

RINO Report: Brodie Deshaies and John MacDonald

Sun, 2022-08-14 12:00 +0000
This is the first in a series that will put the spotlight on some RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) to defeat in the upcoming primary. Do you live in Wolfeboro or Tuftonboro? If so, then you can help remove two of the worst RINOs from the NH House. The primary for State Rep in Carrol county district 6 has two incumbents with terrible voting records against two newcomers. The newcomers are Larry Borland and Katy Peternal. I have heard good things about them, but even if they turn out to be mediocre, they will still be better than the two RINOs. They could hardly be worse. Brodie Deshaies and John MacDonald have two of the worst voting records of all Republicans in this last biennium. Deshaies voted with Democrats against Republicans 108 times. And there are still votes to come. He will undoubtedly cast a few more bad votes before this term is over. John MacDonald voted with Democrats 65 times. That puts him in the worst 5% of all Republicans. He is 6th worst among all those running for reelection. Here are some highlights (lowlights?) of their votes in 2021-22. Bad votes by Deshaies, Brodie (R, Wolfeboro) 2021-22 Parental Control     voted AGAINST giving parents more information about students‘ assessments ( 2021 HB194 )     voted AGAINST parental choice regarding face masks ( 2022 HB1131 )     voted AGAINST parental choice regarding intrusive surveys ( 2022 HB1639 )     voted FOR restricting parental choice ( 2021 HB251 ) Education     voted AGAINST education choice ( 2021 HB609, 2021 HB278, 2022 HB1132 )     voted AGAINST repealing the mandate that schools provide menstrual products ( 2021 HB458 )     voted AGAINST requiring students to pass a civics test ( 2021 HB320, 2021 HB319 ) Cost of Living     voted AGAINST reducing the cost of electricity ( 2021 HB614 )     voted FOR higher property taxes for most owners ( 2021 SB102 ) Constitutional Rights     voted AGAINST free speech ( 2022 HB1625 )     voted AGAINST prohibiting the suspension of civil liberties ( 2021 HB440 )     voted AGAINST property rights ( 2021 HB402, 2022 HB414 )     voted AGAINST religious liberty ( 2021 HB542 )     voted AGAINST repealing a never-used and unconstitutional infringement on free speech ( 2022 HB1625 )     voted AGAINST right to join or not join a union ( 2021 SB61 )     voted AGAINST rights of conscience ( 2021 HB63 )     voted AGAINST rights of conscience regarding vaccination mandates ( 2022 HB1379, 2022 HB1490 )     voted FOR restricting property rights ( 2021 HB177, 2021 HB177 ) Good Government     voted AGAINST limiting the powers of city councils ( 2021 HB439 )     voted AGAINST open, transparent government ( 2021 HB206, 2021 HB206, 2021 HB232 On all of these votes at least 80% of Republicans voted the other way. Bad votes by MacDonald, John (R, Wolfeboro Falls) 2021-22 Parental Control     voted FOR restricting parental choice ( 2021 HB251 ) Education     voted AGAINST education choice ( 2021 HB609, 2021 HB278 )     voted AGAINST repealing the mandate that schools provide menstrual products ( 2021 HB458 )     voted AGAINST requiring students to pass a civics test ( 2021 HB319 ) Cost of Living     voted FOR higher property taxes for most owners ( 2021 SB102 ) Constitutional Rights     voted AGAINST prohibiting the suspension of civil liberties ( 2021 HB440 )     voted AGAINST property rights ( 2021 HB402, 2022 HB414 )     voted AGAINST rights of conscience ( 2021 HB63 )     voted FOR restricting property rights ( 2021 HB177, 2021 HB177 ) Good Government     voted AGAINST open, transparent government ( 2021 HB206, 2021 HB206 On all of these votes, at least 80% of Republicans voted the other way.

Are Caucasians Victims of Planned Obsolescence?

Sun, 2022-08-14 10:30 +0000

With all of the negativity surrounding us with the current state of our nation, one questions whether it is a collection of random policies or is there a master plan. I do not want to give the Democrats too much credit by thinking they could be working on a massive, clandestine operation to transform America into a melting pot where Whites are in the solid minority. But that is what is happening, and very quickly. Let’s look at some of the policies leading to this transformation.

To pull off such a coup, you must numb or desensitize the populace so there is little resistance to the changes. That is where the public education system comes into play. For one hundred years, the progressives have been using schools to support their agenda and to create a dislike of America and its history. It is working. They began in colleges and universities to indoctrinate teachers to spread the word to the masses. We see evidence of the Woke mentality in grades down to preschool.

With the help of Black Lives Matter, DEIJ, and CRT, they have completed the task of turning a country of millennials against patriotism and the ideals of our forefathers. To have a consistent effort nationally, the Department of Education was formed by Jimmy Carter so that Messages taught in the northeast were consistent with the southwest. The teacher’s union has been complicit with this initiative.

The transgender and gender-neutral mindset was a vital component of the process. Removing identity from the equation makes it easier to control the thought processes of the young. The education system also tried to replace the role of parents with teachers. Fortunately, that is facing pushback thanks to overreaching school boards. Parents are fighting back and may prove to be more powerful than the system.

The Justice Department joined the fray last year but not on the side of the people. They chose to weaponize the FBI against parents who were showing resistance to local school boards. They went to such an extreme as to call these parents domestic terrorists. Merrick Garland is proving to be an evil individual on many fronts, and we should be thankful he is not sitting on the Supreme Court.

The movement decades ago to have smaller families has worked. We are seeing negative growth in the U.S. population, with many families having no or one child as opposed to the two plus in the seventies and eighties. Combine that negative growth with an influx of nearly two million illegal immigrants from over one hundred and fifty countries, and it is easy to see how the demographics are changing.

Another difficult process element is the government doing little to stop the influx of illegal synthetic Fentanyl from China through Mexico. With over 100,000 deaths in the 18 to 45-year-old range, we are killing off our current and future productive generation. I would hate to think this is part of the process, but how else can you explain the government’s apathy in addressing the Chinese attack on our people?

This post is not a conspiracy piece, as all of these things are happening. Whether they are connected or not is the question. If they are, we are seeing a concentrated effort to transform, if not destroy America. This string of events started long before Obama, but he drew attention to the plot when he called his Presidency a transformation. Biden is Obama 2.0, and we must stop it before we lose our beloved America.

Our forefathers, those brilliant men who saw deep into the future, said that America was an experiment and could fail at any time. I do not want that time to be in my lifetime, and I will do whatever I can to prevent it from happening. I hope and pray we have enough like-thinking Patriots to join the fight.

Dems New Climate Inflation Boondoggle Wastes 400 Billion to Get a 0.0009° F Reduction in “Warming”

Sun, 2022-08-14 01:30 +0000

The Left portrays themselves as getting into politics to help the little guy. Observation shows us they do it to make more little guys. Everything they do gets government between you and opportunity, and their energy policy might be the worst yet.

It turns the political elite into carbon despots hoarding everything for themselves while reducing basic comforts like heat, air-conditioning, and travel, into luxuries. And some of them truly believe they are entitled to these things to keep doing good which translates to more oppression.

Their latest boondoggle does two things well, and neither has anything to do with the planet’s temperature. It adds 87,000 new IRS “soldiers” (Four Divisions, or a Field Army) and launders billions from energy independence to dependence – from reliable to unreliable. From your wallet into the hands of favored industries and individuals, much of which will wash up on the fiscal shores of the Chinese Communist Party.

For what, you ask? Surely that wasn’t how they sold it? Most Democrats didn’t vote to launder more money to China, did they?

All Democrats know how to launder other people’s money. It is their only leadership skill (if you can call it that) – but they like to pretend.

In the case of the Inflation reduction act, Congress inflates the Nation’s debt some more, then inflates taxes, while the media inflates the lie that these taxes will pay for whatever it is we’re buying, and what is that?

We get 87,000 more IRS agents, their salaries, offices (probably with heat and AC), office equipment, supplies, computers, IT infrastructure, benefits, retirements (union dues), vehicles, gas (or electrons), mileage costs, expense accounts, and whatever else I’ve forgotten.

We also get the emotional, and financial loss of having these tens of thousands of “officers” eat out our substance should we fail to navigate the tome of regulations and forms provided to ensure we “are paying their taxes.”

A climate of fear and intimidation. A weight “The Rich” will shoulder with indifference after claims are managed and settled by their accountants and legal teams. Another luxury most Americans will be unable to afford.

On the green energy side, and when we say green, we mean the money, not the infrastructure or its output; the benefits are a statistical zero. Much like the over-advertised benefits of the Paris Climate Accord, which kneecapped America and little else, the Democrat’s Castrate America Act wouldn’t change the projected temperature rise by more than 0.028 degrees by 2100.

For a nation on a planet with only a handful of years left “to do something,” this massive waste of resources does nothing.

Nearly all of Washington—Democrats, the press, lobbyists—is taking a victory lap with Senate passage of the Schumer-Manchin tax, climate and drug price control bill. The climate lobby is especially thrilled, claiming a historic victory that will reduce temperatures, hold back the rising sea, and save the planet.

Or, maybe not. Our contributor Bjorn Lomborg looked at the Rhodium Group estimate for CO2 emissions reductions from Schumer-Manchin policies. He then plugged them into the United Nations climate model to measure the impact on global temperature by 2100. He finds the bill will reduce the estimated global temperature rise at the end of this century by all of 0.028 degrees Fahrenheit in the optimistic case. In the pessimistic case, the temperature difference will be 0.0009 degrees Fahrenheit.

Democrats would need to launder 39 trillion dollars at this rate to achieve the necessary reduction in temperature their Dogma requires. I’m not saying they’re not up to the challenge, but at what point does it appear obvious that the only climate that interests them is their financial one?

The geological, logistical, manufacturing, transportation, installation, maintenance, and disposal of their “solution” is as or more of a carbon threat than natural gas, nuclear, thermal, wave, hydro, oil, and even clean coal. All of which are available here, enrich us instead of our enemies, and are capable of meeting current and future demands.

And that’s if we agree that CO2 is a problem and one that a government can solve. Neither is true, but if they were, the solutions for which we and our posterity are paying at the hands of Democrats in Congress wouldn’t even make a tiny dent in the problem as advertised.

What it might do is make some Irish democrats more wealthy who, being vassals of progressive machine politics, won’t even notice the new Field Army of IRS agents whose very existence will elevate DC’s already massive carbon footprint.
