Summer is Over: So, How’d That ‘Ticks All Year’ Thing Hold Up?

Sat, 2022-10-01 13:30 +0000

I am happy to say we have concluded our white dog summer research project. The object was to test a progressive premise established in May that “tick season” would be all year round ‘cuz, Climate change. The final results?

It was bullish!t.

If you’ve been following the “research,” you will know that my yellow lab – which has very white fur – is an excellent test subject for gauging the tick population. In the spring, it was awful, as it always is; we were pulling two to four or more off the dog every trip outside.

Many a blood-sucking parasite met an unpleasant end, burial at “sea,” immolation (sacrifice to the angry democrat gods), crushing hazards. We’re not kind to those little bastards, but they keep coming back for more. But not as predicted by the “experts.” The perception was that climate change had messed everything up, and it looked like we’d have no summer hiatus from ticks.

And then we did.

It was like every other year except for a very impressive heat wave. Heat, warming, CO2, but no ticks. What gives?

The white dog spent as much or more time in the yard as any other year, but through July and August, not one single tick was spotted on Cosmo. And none on us either. So, what about September?

One tick, but not until after summer was over. I found one tick on the white dog a few days ago and none since.

Not only did we not have ticks all year, we have a slow start to the autumn tick season (which is good), but then, that heavier-than-average hurricane season we were promised has been no less disappointing for the Climateers (Also good).

We had no named storm in July or August and nothing that hit land until the last week of September. And then, only one.

Just like the ticks.

Will someone suggest ticks and … never mind.

Generational Theft Machine

Sat, 2022-10-01 12:00 +0000

Deficit spending and inflation are a tool by the government to freely spend while simultaneously eroding our wealth. Did you know the Constitution protects us from this tactic initiated through the Federal Reserve (FED) in 1913?

We want to thank Russ Payne for this Op-Ed Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

Sole power over money is given to Congress in Article I, section 8: “To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin.” Since 1913, Congress unconstitutionally transferred this power to a Board of Governors and twelve privately chartered regional banks. The formation of the FED was a major step to tyranny right out of The Communist Manifesto: “Centralizing credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank.“

What has happened since the FED implemented the Marxist, Keynesian economic system in 1913?

Fiduciary currency backed by lawful currency, silver or gold, was outlawed in 1971. Each time the FED creates more dollars by printing or digital clicks, dollars become worth less. There is no limit on the quantity created out of thin air.

Observing this habitual spending of other people’s money, it becomes obvious to me why in the 1940s my dad paid a nickel for a cup of coffee, and bread in the 1950s was two loaves for 29 cents. As money loses its value, it takes more dollars to buy the same item. Ignorance is not bliss; it’s expensive.

The national debt in 1913 was 1 billion. Today it’s over 30 trillion.

In 1913, again right out of the Communist Manifesto, Congress also passed the XVI Amendment: “A heavy or progressive income tax.”Article I, Section 8, gives the power of taxation to Congress but stipulates that taxes shall be uniform throughout the United States, which eliminates progressive taxes. Because of ignorance of the supreme law of the land, citizens and officeholders failed to uphold the Constitution but rather accelerated economic suicide. Keynes was correct when he prophetically stated his economic system would be the“ euthanasia of capitalism.”

The failures of the past do not have to direct our future. Thomas Jefferson gives us the remedy for this severe lack of knowledge about our Constitution:

“I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.”

An uninformed electorate is an enemy of liberty and the best friend of tyrants. Again, ignorance is not bliss, it is expensive and the most powerful weapon our enemies have. Citizens who love their liberty need to search for the power of true knowledge that has been purposely denied them for generations.

A good place to start is to contact The John Birch Society Field Coordinator Matthew Rhodes at 207-391-0970 about “The CONSTITUTION IS THE SOLUTION,” a seven-week seminar now going on several places in New Hampshire.”

So, The “Community” Admits It Wants Children to Have Access to Gay Porn

Sat, 2022-10-01 10:30 +0000

The latest front in the culture war has taken an interesting turn. Mostly Democrats and members of various LGBT identity groups have decided there should be no discussion about the appropriateness of books that depict children performing gay sex acts.

The mere mention of it has been described as book banning.

The tip of this “spear” is a book called Gender Queer, which includes a cartoon depiction of a child performing fellatio on another kid. By all legal definitions, this is kiddie porn. If you handed it to a random kid on the street, you could be arrested, convicted, and added to the sex-offender registry for life. But daring to suggest it might not be appropriate to let anyone of any age grab it off a public or school library shelf is considered intolerant.

Speaking of intolerant, there are plenty of books, both graphic novels, and text only, that depict or describe sex acts, so are these banned too?

No Hentai in the school library but Gender Queer needs to be there.

How about any of the dozens, if not scores, of “periodicals” or other material depicting nudity or sexual acts in print? Are we okay with gay porn only, or is heterosexual porn acceptable? Can we have a debate about “banning that?”

It’s not a Ban

Leaving them out of the school library is not “book banning.” It is a choice about taxpayer-funded access based on age, maturity, and a general sense of public moral interest, but since we’re here. Is anyone who wants that material available to minors in public or school libraries advocating for children’s access to porn?

Is there some other explanation? It’s pornographic. You want them to see it. You do not want to debate it. And whether you are an elected official, school administrator, librarian, parent, teacher, neighbor, activist, or member of an identity group, your objection to the conversation says one thing. You believe children need to see this.

You think children need to be sexualized, and your vector of preference (in this case) is gay porn. And if possible, without further discussion, as evidenced by the town council in Rochester this past week.

(Couniclor Jim) Gray had tasked Blaine Cox, the city manager with sitting down with the city’s chief librarian, Marie Lejeune, and getting her take on the appropriateness, or inappropriateness of the above-referenced images in Gender Queer.

But the City Council chose to short-circuit the discussion by removing the agenda item using a rarely employed – at least with this body – Robert’s Rules of Order codicil that voids the agenda item with a two-thirds vote. The council voted 12-1 to remove it, with Gray the lone nay vote.

The vote robbed Cox of doing his job. In fact, we don’t know if he ever sat down with Lejeune or not.

The Rochester City Council banned debate, so we presume their position is no different than those in the LGBT community who showed up to defend the book; your kids have a right to access taxpayer-funded gay kiddie porn, and objecting to that is the equivalent of book banning, even though the book is readily available not just online but in print to anyone who wants it.

I guess what I’d like to know, and perhaps any number of taxpayers and parents as well, is why do you, as an adult, want children to access gay porn but not all porn?

Or do you want that too?

I Could Have Just Summed It Up, “NEA Is Shutting Down Explorations of Safety: Attacking 2nd Amendment

Sat, 2022-10-01 01:30 +0000

NH State Rep Melissa Litchfield is being attacked by the NEA for suggesting an LSR (a precursor / placeholder for an actual bill) that would allow a School District, as she states below, to allow school staff to be trained to handle firearms and then District to store “First Responder” firearms to use in case of an emergency where someone is (or trying to) kill students or staff (emphasis mine):

———- Forwarded message ———-
From: Melissa litchfield<melissalitchfield@comcast.net>
Date: On Thu, Sep 29, 2022 at 8:45 AM
Subject: Fwd: LSR# 2023-0212, NEA-2nd Amendment
To: Melissa litchfield <melissalitchfield@comcast.net>
Cc:

LSR that I have put forward…

In response to LSR# 2023-0212, the NEA has come out condemning it- this is just an LSR- bill has not been written and there is no official language.

Here is a link to what the NEA put out there last week: https://neanh.org/2022/09/22/nea-nh-condemns-rep-litchfields-bill-to-arm-new-hampshires-educators/

Reproduced in full below.

Here is my official response:

Surprisingly, the NEA has chosen to oppose LSR# 2023-0212, which they have never read.  I say that they’ve never read it simply because no one has ever read it – the final draft won’t be available for at least another week.  While terms, such as “weapons of war” or citing surveys about feelings, rather than data, may help them fight their own “culture wars”, they do very little to explain the actual bill.

Not surprisingly, their solution is to hire more dues paying members for their organization.  The NEA is, after all, a labor union, with one of their main purposes being lobbying and advocating for educators – not students.

To clarify this proposal for people, I’ll introduce two concepts which were not addressed by the NEA:  Student safety and facts.

The origins of this bill came about during my almost ten-year tenure on school boards, including our local Safety and Security committee. During this time, the idea of school safety was (and still is) a major concern.  I was able to work with and receive suggestions from law enforcement, Homeland security, and educators.  All of these groups suggested the idea of letting teachers have the ability to protect their students. The bill is not intended to have teachers carrying guns around schools or to be forced into harm’s way.

The bill allows for small firearms to be securely stored on campus.  The only people permitted near these are staff members who have volunteered, trained and had background checks done on them.  While every local law enforcement officer would race to a school with an intruder, they couldn’t get there as fast as someone already inside the building.

While it’s very easy to exaggerate the specifics of any proposed bill, this bill, as with all proposed bills, is subject to hearings with input from all sides involved.  I invite the NEA to attend these hearings.

On a personal note, I also had to look at this bill as the mother of four school aged children.  Hopefully, nothing ever happens in our schools.  If it does, I would want the quickest response possible, whether it’s law enforcement or teachers who have volunteered, been vetted and properly trained.

I could have just summed it up, “NEA is shutting down explorations of Safety: Attacking 2nd Amendment

Sincerely,

Rep Melissa A Litchfield

Our Kimberly Morin, also of the Women’s Defense League of NH (which also happens to have a Teachers Discount!) has a post on all the Gun Control LSR that have been filed by the Democrats.  Each one of them reduces your Constitutional Right to self defense.  The one that sends my ire rising is the last one:

LSR 2023-0069   Relative to possession or is charge of a firearm in a school zone.

There’s no underlying text associated with it yet but it is targeting LAWFUL gun owners. The current Federal Gun-Free Zone law has exceptions in it for carrying on school property – here’s the one that Steve Shurtleff is targeting (pun intended):

(ii) if the individual possessing the firearm is licensed to do so by the State in which the school zone is located or a political subdivision of the State, and the law of the State or political subdivision requires that, before an individual obtains such a license, the law enforcement authorities of the State or political subdivision verify that the individual is qualified under law to receive the license; [So if you have a concealed carry permit, license, or another official document which permits you to possess the firearm assuming that there is some qualification standard in order to receive that permit/license.]

It’s Revenge Legislation as most Democrat legislators / Governors / Mayors around the nation are reacting in various and sundry ways to “work around” the Supreme Court Bruen decision that has made it really hard for Progressives/anti-Constitutionalists from imposing restrictions on the “keep and bear arms” of the Second Amendment. This and the others Kimberly listed would most likely be ruled unconstitutional and rendered void (maybe the Red Flag/EPO one, LSR 2023-0042, might pass muster).  It would also affect me as someone with a valid NH Pistol/Revolver license signed by my local law enforcement.

It may become “interesting” if the Democrats regain the Majority in both the House and Senate and the Governorship.

NEA-NH Condemns Rep Litchfield’s Bill to Arm New Hampshire’s Educators
Posted on September 22, 2022 Posted in NH Public Education

Teachers should be teaching, not acting as armed security guards, or receiving training to become sharpshooters.

Why not? They are legally first responders if they suspect that a child is being abused (physically, emotionally, sexully), right?  How much more sever can abuse get “above” killing a student by an armed intruder bent on creating mayhem and murder?

CONCORD, NH – SEPTEMBER 22, 2022- The very last thing our schools need right now is to bring more weapons into them. But it appears that is exactly what Rep. Litchfield wants to do with her proposed legislation to arm New Hampshire’s teachers. Her legislation is extreme, out-of-step, and dangerous.

Sure, it’s only the gun-free zones that seem to attract the crazed armed intruders, right? Makes PERFECT sense to keep students and staff being sitting ducks. And I just LOVE this next strawman argument:

Arming teachers and other school personnel does nothing to prevent gun violence. In fact, a nationwide NEA survey found quite the contrary; educators would feel less safe if school personnel were armed.

No, NOTHING is going to “prevent” gun violence crime (there, I fixed it for you) as those crazed armed intruders will always have a weapon when they want one. This would be a deterrent (hopefully but not 100%) and a first responder capability.  What, the NEA WANTS to see dead children if the police can’t get on site fast enough? And I seem to remember a situation where the police did get on site fast enough, and then dithered…or am I misremembering?

“Most of us want the same thing – strong, quality public schools that give every student the freedom to reach their potential,” said Megan Tuttle, NEA-New Hampshire President.

Yeah, but that potential goes to zero if someone can’t arrive fast enough to stop the gunman.  Are you telling us, President Tuttle, that you’d rather see people be killed instead of eliminating a current and existential threat?

“Representative Litchfield’s bill ignores the needs of our students, their parents, and educators and instead tries to distract us by dragging right-wing culture wars into our community’s classrooms at a time when our students need our support the most.”

You REALLY want to go there, Tuttle?  Transgenderism? Critical Race Theory?  Social Justice, SEL?

Tell me this, what is the overall percentage of the students, that your teachers are supposed to be training, actually proficient in English and Math here in NH?  Is it 95%? Perhaps lower: 90%?   How low do I have to go to show what your union members are accomplishing?  I dryly note not one word on that score, right?

“We all agree that there are too many shootings in our nation’s schools, which is why New Hampshire’s elected officials should prioritize the safety of students and work to keep weapons of war out of our schools, not put our children at risk by bringing loaded guns into classrooms and hallways,” said Tuttle.

Weapons of war – your own Progressive ideology is showing.  And oh, by the way, why is the NEA in favor of canceling our Freedom of Speech and having teachers lie to parents??

And I’m betting she has no clue as to what a real weapon of war is, either.

Parents and educators understand that the biggest challenges facing our students and our public schools are getting students the one-on-one support they need, addressing educator shortages, and ensuring students have the mental health services they need. They want legislators and candidates to address these issues and not bring political culture wars into classrooms just to score points with their base.

No, the biggest challenge is having responsive school board member and then teachers teaching the basics such that ALL students are reaching proficiency in all subjects.  Which is not being accomplished across NH (and it isn’t because of money or staff – there a case to be made that the phrase “Go Woke, Go Broke” can be applied to the current warehouse system of education as well).

How about doing that FIRST and then we’ll talk about your Left-wing issues.

And remember, it doesn’t take much to see where the union dues go in supporting elected representatives in elections – what a phony

Listen: Fentanyl Is Killing Kids In More Ways Than You Realize

Fri, 2022-09-30 22:30 +0000

Grace Curly had Derek Maltz Sr on her program to discuss the fentanyl crisis. Derek is a retired DEA special ops guy that wrote an article in the New York Post on cartels using open-border policy to kill more Americans than any terrorist organization.

That’s a bold way to put it, but it is not incorrect. The cartels have been running fentanyl into America thanks to Biden’s borderless America policy and Obama’s open-border policies before that.

Only during Trump’s administration did this begin to slow down.

As we’ve pointed out, the result is a massive pile of bodies from drug and overdose deaths, and elected Democrats are responsible for these deaths.

Rather than address the problem, they use the crisis they created to grow the government but not in any meaningful way – like border enforcement or supporting Immigration enforcement officers or the rule of law. They add funding for progressive NGOs or therapists or crisis or suicide helplines.

But that is only part of the story. Derek has some details we’ve not covered that you’ll never see in the local media, which he shares with Grace in this segment.

THIS Is the Kind of Republican I Want Fighting for Me – In the Democrat Spawned Culture War

Fri, 2022-09-30 21:00 +0000

One that isn’t a scaredy-cat of getting involved in the contentious and fractious Culture War that now, on this battlefront, has co-opted Government (“Public Schools”) into aligning itself with the Democrat sexuality agenda of our children against Parents.

While I could not go to the Presser myself, Grok Friend Tom sent this along:

The context of this concerns Policy 100.1 in the Manchester School District which tells its staff to lie about the Transgender status of their child. Recently, the Maggie “The Red” Hassan appointee Judge in the case, Amy Messer, ruled that Parents do NOT have any legal say in how their child is educated in Manchester Public Schools. The translation is that “this child is OUR child, NOT yours, while they are in our building.  But feel free to think your child is your child at any other time.   I’ve been fighting this for almost two years in Gilford.

We’ve heard this before from other non-free countries built on the notion that The State (country) owns its subjects and not the American notion that we are a free people that happen to have a Government.  She confirmed for me that my long-term meme is true:

The Bigger the Governor, the smaller the citizen

When your child is no longer YOUR child, the Government has become too big.

Karoline has taken a lot of knocks for being too young, not having a voting record, and hasn’t “risen through the ranks”. Well, she’s doing something that FEW Republicans, especially the “old dinosaurs” ones, have done – taking on this issue with a smile, determination, and grit.  They abhor getting “their hands dirty” in things other than budgets and taxes; she doesn’t limit herself to those topics. She knows that the Democrats have taken their War right against families and expect them to just accept them.

She’s also quick on her feet, especially on the question asked by WMUR’s Adam Sexton.

She realizes that our fight HAS to be her fight as well – I like that style.

GraniteGrok endorsed her in the Primary Election.

Weather is Not Red or Blue

Fri, 2022-09-30 19:30 +0000

Fortunately, we are still at a place where we can come together to put the pieces back together after a weather catastrophe. Hurricane Ian has dominated the news cycle for the last two days, and that is a blessing within the tragedy.

The attention is focused on minimizing the loss and evaluating what is needed to get back to normal as soon as possible.

As we spent the last few days watching the track of the storm and trying to project its target as the storm makes landfall, it has become clear that we are powerless when it comes to Mother Nature. She holds all the cards. Even with all of the sophisticated equipment, we really have no idea what will happen until the day after. No meteorologist is ever wrong as they recap the impact of a vicious storm. The best we can do is prepare as best we can and pray.

The bottom line is Americans love each other despite political leanings. When our brothers and sisters have been hurt, we are there to do what we can to ease the pain. Over thirty states are coming to the aid of the good people of Florida. Most of these states did not feel a gust of wind or a drop of rain, but they are ready to dip into their wallet or get into a truck to deliver aid. This is America at its finest. This is America at its purest.

Governor DeSantis has been in the spotlight for the last few days and has performed with the level of excellence we expect from our leaders. He has communicated well, was ahead of the storm with preparations, and has been quick to direct assistance to the areas that need it the most. He has been able to get the Federal government to recognize the need to declare emergencies to free up relief funds. Progressive or Conservative was not part of the equation. Americans were in need, and the government was there to do what they were designed to do; hold the safety net.

The weather does not discriminate on any parameters, but it does take its most significant toll on the weakest of society. The elderly and the poorest among us have taken the most significant toll. The elderly are the most difficult to relocate in the path of a deadly storm, and the poorest do not have the means to move anywhere. This is why these two categories will see the highest percentage of devastation and fatalities. Notice this has nothing to do with race, just age and wealth.

The next few days will be crucial as the devastation is identified. There will be some that lose their lives and others that will need years to recover. As with any situation, there will be people striving to make money on the backs of others who are suffering. The storm will pass, but our efforts to help have to have staying power.

The best part about the news blackout of every other story is we did not have to focus on Vice President Harris declaring we are aligned with North Korea or the President of the United States making a major faux pas yesterday. President Biden on Wednesday asked a crowd if Rep. Jackie Walorski, who died in a car accident last month, was in attendance at a White House event. These are our leaders. The storm will fizzle in time, but when it does, we will still be stuck with Biden and Harris…..how lucky are we?

Part 2: Looks like Hanover High School Principal Julie Stevenson is in both CYA and “deflect, deflect, deflect” mode.

Fri, 2022-09-30 18:00 +0000

But calling the Hanover Police on an HHS student?  This was sent to GraniteGrok by a Hanover parent (“In case you missed it from our good Commissar, er Principal….”) – somebody’s a bit nervous?  Read the construction of this email:

From: Julie Stevenson <julie.stevenson@dresden.us>
Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2022 1:13 PM
To: Joseph C. Anderson <Joseph.C.Anderson@dartmouth.edu>(“”)
Subject: Tik Tok: Here we go again!

Good Afternoon-

We wanted to take a moment to address the recent Tik Tok about Hanover High School made by an organization based out of state and not with the school. We have seen the Tik Tok and have been made aware of some of the responses both from Hanover High students and others not from our school community.

The maker of the Tik Tok asked administration if they could put their table in the building and they were informed that the only tables we allow in the school are those that are student initiated or related to post secondary opportunities.

Because of our memorandum of understanding, we have made the Hanover PD aware.

There are many good lessons here about freedom of speech, social media, truth in reporting and constructive and destructive dialogue. Please use this opportunity to talk with your families.

Have a nice afternoon,

HHS Administration

I was struck by a number of things in that email:

  • made by an organization based out of state and not with the school

Note she didn’t even mention the “organization” – that would be Turning Point USA (“TPUSA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote freedom.”)an organization that is in direct opposition to the Woke construction in effect in the District. Gee, what side of the political spectrum uses “outside agitators” a lot?

  • and others not from our school community

Yep, we’d be part of that “community” that’s not THEIR “community”.  Yet, like Martha’s Vineyard, these Progressively based schools are always touting their own horns about being “inclusive” until they run up against someone that needs to be excluded.  Once again, we see the “definition inversion” these folks are infamous for!

  • Because of our memorandum of understanding, we have made the Hanover PD aware

I reviewed the Hanover High School site/policies and the only references that would have any attachment to that statement were:

The only mention of school policies covering this are: Behavior Expectations: https://hhs.sau70.org/hhshandbook/student-policies/behavior-expectations Threat Protocol:  https://hhs.sau70.org/hhshandbook/safety-protocol/threat-protocol Only the latter speaks to calling the Police.  I’ll have to wait to get confirmation that Hanover Police was actually called by HHS (necessary as we had a case where Democrat State Reps said they called the Merrimack Police against us for “threatening” and an RTK issued by Susan Olsen proved that the Rep making the claim was lying – I think the police chief enjoyed (seriously enjoyed!) letting us know that no such thing had happened and NO police police protection was ever activated. The Rep never thought we’d check – and she got angrier.). But one has to ask “how is setting up a table a physical threat?” sufficient to call the police?  Antifi (like at Dartmouth College), sure. But someone with TPUSA – conflating US Constitutions with violence? Well, we all know what the Woke think of that notion.
  • There are many good lessons here about freedom of speech, social media, truth in reporting and constructive and destructive dialogue

This, THIS is the la creme de la creme of the entire email. So which side is Freedom on – the constructive or destructive side of “dialogue”. Add to that, please tell me, how does Destructive dialog square, EVAH!, with Freedom of Speech?

Sorry Ms. Stevenson, but your ideology just shown brightly.  There is no Hate Speech (jumping ahead here) as Freedom of Speech PROTECTS that speech that others find offensive or that other famous Leftist adjective “Hurtful”. Sorry, Free Speech exists to make sure that Government (that would be you as an agent of the Government as Public Schools are nothing if NOT Government) doesn’t restrict the liberty of its citizens.

And just throwing out the phrase “truth in reporting” went without any context at all.  The fact that you aren’t telling the entire truth when compared against the video has some of us going “so what context did you mean “truth in reporting”? Which reporters from which outlets?  What did they get wrong?  Did they lie?

But that also brings up the converse – why are you leaving so much out of your email, leaving to the readers imagination that perhaps something nefarious is going on that ruins the HHS ideology Narrative?

Just a casual question for the Principal – what IS the Proper Role of Government?  It’s an easy one to answer – if you’ve been reading GraniteGrok. Tell me, what did the curriculum for your Social Studies class inform your students what the right answer was?

She also doesn’t mention, at ALL,  the posters that were highlighted in the video.  Why did you run away from those in email – nary a mention at all. Why not? And why not mention that Deborah Bacon Nelson, the Democrat Chair of Hanover/Lyme, wasn’t given the same treatment? She is “outside of the school” as well, right?

Sigh, you know what happens with stuff like this – my To-Do list grows ever longer as the ideas just pile up quickly (and ram into all the OTHER stuff that’s filling up my 8′ X 4′ whiteboard “notebook”.

One would think that a Principal would know better. C’est la!

Guess I won’t be invited into “her community” as I ask uncomfortable questions.

Friday Meme Overflow-Overflow

Fri, 2022-09-30 16:30 +0000

As predicted in the last Monday Memes, and in the Meme Overflow, I have an overflow-overflow.  Enjoy, and Happy Friday!

If you could, if you send a meme to someone, please say that you found it here (or whichever meme post is appropriate) and give the link.  In theory, it will get at least some to pop over and look.  The idea being is that they may peruse other memes which might then get through as Thought Splinters.  (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3).  Part IV is actually open on my computer and I’m slowly trying to finish it.

Now, let the mayhem, mockery, and ridicule resume:

*** Warning, a few possibly off-color ones, in case tender eyes are about ***

But first, please do consider visiting the Grok’s merch page.  Also, please help this bumper sticker of mine go viral:

I have no expectations this will sell by the megamillions… but it’d be nice if I could get something actually tangible.  Especially with the remodeling going on at the house.  Ugh.

I don’t know who this advice-guy Damon guy is… but apparently, to his credit, he responded with a definitive NO.  But what’s disturbing is that the thought crossed someone’s mind as a good thing to do.  Remember, the greatest evil deeds are done by people believing they’re doing good.

People who’ve actually scored a touchdown don’t bitch about re-watching the video that proves it. It’s that simple.

You can run the tape back and forth, and if the feet are inbounds, and the ball is in control, it’s a touchdown time after time after time.

So when one team’s coaches, and half the fans in the stadium, boo and catcall the replay, and start agitating loudly to ignore it and just call the touchdown without looking at that pesky video replay, you know they didn’t score, and you know they know they didn’t score, so all their histrionics and hissyfits beforehand and afterwards is just them being pissed that they lost, refusing to admit it, even to themselves, and terror at having their noses rubbed in you seeing it with your own lying eyes, on a 50′ tall jumbotron, in front of millions of eyewitnesses.

They’ll be left losers, with egg on their faces, and be thwarted at achieving what they wanted so badly they could not only taste it, but were willing to lie, cheat, and steal to get.

Remember, to the Left, power is all they care about.

Things You Need to Do on Your Next Trip to Manchester

Fri, 2022-09-30 16:09 +0000

It’s always better to plan things beforehand instead of making abrupt and instantaneous plans while enjoying a trip. Your trip might have two possibilities, either it can be a fantastic outcome loaded with fun and vigor, or it can be a disastrous journey wasting your time, money, vitality, and energy. Having said that, let’s find out some of the interesting places, activities, and fun elements to be exercised on your trip to Manchester, UK.

Heaven for sports lovers: without discussing sports and precisely football winnings in Old Trafford Stadium, it will be an injustice to describe Manchester. In order to experience the vitality of premier league wins, one must take a tour of the ground of this stadium. In addition, you mustn’t forget to visit the locker rooms, tunnels, and museum to make yourself acquainted with the history of the football club.

Get familiar with scientific and industrial inventions: having attained the title of the world’s first industrial city, the science and industry museum in Manchester attracts people for its extravagant display of steam engines, the first computer storing and running software, and most important cotton mill. Thus, while planning a trip to Manchester, include this in your checklist.

A Mesmerizing Nightlife: Manchester has always been famous for its unparalleled nightlife and fun. Music, dance, and having fun with friends hold amazement for the tourists and fun lovers.

  1. AO Arena: this place holds space for more than 21000 people at one time. It conducts famous music performances running from Ozzy Osbourne to Hans Zimmer, comedy shows, orchestral performances, and even boxing matches.
  2. Silent Disco: This is an unmatchable specialty of Manchester, as it asks you to just put your headphones on and start playing any sort of music you like, ultimately being involved in music, dancing, and partying with your friends.

An all-round gaming destination: Apart from being famous for its football club, Manchester has a lot more for tourists and game lovers. Its nightlife is incomplete without experiencing music, gaming, and, more importantly casinos. Rather than directly giving a head start to Manchester’s famous casinos, including Manchester 235, Genting Club, Grosvenor Casino, and many more, it’s always better and safer to try the online casinos UAE that are trusted by millions of users. Be it Manchester or UAE, you will find the best casino sites along with accurate and updated information about casino platforms in UAE. This will help you plan your next trip to UAE if gambling is in your blood.

Lively Theme parks: Besides the globally renowned nightlife of Manchester, it also has astonishing bewilderment for tourists in the form of its magical theme parks. The most famous one is Gulliver’s World which is complete fun for the whole family comprising rides and activities for both children and adults. So, this can also be a great holiday place to spend with your family.

A compendium of different arts: Manchester holds the world’s famous rich art gallery. This art gallery is an amazement for art admirers, as it contains paintings of esteemed British artists and even more than 500 sculptors covering a time span of over 200 years. Interestingly, the museum is not merely limited to exhibiting paintings and famous sculptors; however, it also contains multifarious designs of wallpapers, furniture, glassware, clothing, and costumes. Therefore, for budding artists, this place is a must-visit. Some places to experience different arts are as follows:

  1. The Manchester Museum: this place gives you an opportunity to live through the Ice-age, and it also consists of an impressive range of ancient artifacts, including objects from West Asia, Mesopotamia, and ancient Egypt.
  2. The Whitworth: the art gallery consists of over 60,000 artworks such as paintings, textiles, sculptors, contemporary art, prints, and so on. This place has a picturesque setting holding a sculptor terrace, orchard, and an art garden.

An exploration of Natural landscape: Amidst the artificial elements of providing clubs, rides, and roller coasters, Manchester has a beautifully made Fletcher Moss Park and Botanical Gardens that preserve interesting wildlife. The Fletcher park contains some rare species of trees, birds, and willow warblers while simultaneously serving a range of snacks during day hours. In addition, Manchester is an abode for various natural activities such as:

  1. The Lake District National Park: This place is an abode for the tallest mountain in England named Scafell Pike. It holds incredible scenic beauty, picturesque imagery, and green landfills.
  2. Chester Zoo: This zoo homes nearly 20,000 animals. It helps you encounter a range of species such as bears, elephants, big cats, and some endangered African Species.

To conclude, Manchester is a complete package of fun, serenity, travel, tour, and knowledge. It’s a must-visit place for those people having wanderlust. Its chromatic atmosphere gives you a life-living experience and animated learning outcomes.

Good, Evil, and Left vs. Right

Fri, 2022-09-30 15:00 +0000

You think the switch of party colors when TV first had color to show on electoral maps was innocent? Conservatives were always royal blue by tradition, and Communists were red before then. But that pales, literally, in comparison to the devilish schemes of the left – we are literally engaged in a war of good vs evil. Let me explain…

You have probably felt many times that the war the left is waging on us is one of evil intent, the culture wars, debasing society and religion, destroying morality and the family, etc. You have probably noticed that bills named by the left (and some of the RINO ruling class) have deliberately deceptive names: “Affordable Care,” “For The People,” “Inflation Reduction,” and more. You have probably noticed, certainly in the past before they became emboldened and ripped of their masks of disguise how the left needs to lie about the effects of any proposed action in order to make it appeal to their camp followers, AKA useful idiots as Stalin called them.

But have you thought, really thought, (and I’m no theologian) about WHY the left and it’s evil intentions are always working from behind a glittering cloak of deceit? Who, exactly is the “Great Deceiver,” and are we really selling our souls every time we lend even a little support to denizens of the left?

What if I told you that it is an idea almost as old as time, and certainly common since the (re)birth of socialism in the 19th century, that devotees of Black Magic, followers of Satan, and seekers of power and fortune, called themselves followers of the Left Hand Path?

From the website Learn Religions

What Is the Left-Hand Path?
The left-hand path is considered to be about the elevation and centrality of the self as well as the rejection of religious authority and societal taboos.

The left-hand path focuses on the strength and will of the practitioner. It downplays the need for intercession by any high power although some may believe that a higher power exists.

Satanism (both LaVeyan and Theistic) and Luciferianism are considered left-hand paths.

If you seek gratification, fame, fortune, and more in the here and now, without having to really work for it, well, boy, oh boy, does Satan have a deal for you! Yesirree Bob, better than any used car salesman, just sign on the dotted line with a little blood and your immortal soul, and all you desire shall be yours.
If you seek the easy life, less work, government handouts, debts forgiven (paid for by the eevil rich), and more, the Democrats (and some RINOs) have a deal for you! Just sign up for their ruinous policies, and if you are in a protected class, things may get better for a while, but if you are observant, you will see the rest of society descending slowly and surely into Hell accompanied by a rising smell of sulfur.

The parallels between the Great Deceiver and left wing politicians, and the degree of deception to smoothly talk you into voting for their snake oil and poisonous nostrums, is uncanny.

Obama Devil by RiverDaughterDid you notice how the left orgasmically welcomed Barack Obama as if he was the Second Coming? But Second Coming of who or what, exactly? Trouble is that the smooth talking, deceptive, sharply dressed Obama more closely resembles the TV depictions of Lucifer than he does God’s right hand man, Jesus Christ.

Nowadays, with the transparently feeble Joe as a front, smooth talking “Chuck You Schumer” as the Senate Deceiver, and Lucifer’s Obama’s acolytes running the country into the ground, that sulfurous smell is not your catalytic converter struggling with cheap and nasty gasoline, but the rising tide of depravity and poverty foisted upon us by our very own Great Deceivers – the Democrat Party!

Vote GOP this November like your country depends on it – the slope is very slippery already!

Cultural Crazy Town: Man Who Sexually Assaulted Seven Children Charged as a Woman

Fri, 2022-09-30 13:30 +0000

A man sexually assaulted seven children (now adults) and has since changed his gender. The official record indicates that a woman perpetrated these crimes because calling her him is a hate crime. She will be going to jail, but don’t you dare call her him.

Reformatted.

At the time of the offences, Dixon was John Stephen Dixon, who transitioned to female in 2004 – after the period during which the offences took place.

Dixon was given an 18-year custodial sentence, with an additional two years to be served on extended licence. Dixon will also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order indefinitely.

The five girls and two boys, who were aged between six and 15 in the seven-year period from 1989 to 1996, were abused at locations in Crawley, Bexhill and Icklesham.

Dixon was also found not guilty of four indecent assaults.

He will go to a woman’s prison where, if recent history is any guide, “she” will rape the other inmates with her penis. But don’t you dare say she is a man. That’s a hate crime in the UK.

The Police eventually had to beg off and apologize for their poor behavior, but not because it is a distinction with a difference. They overstepped on the hate speech thing, given the increasingly less unique circumstances. It is not uncommon for male predators of children to change their gender. If they are charged as “women” for things they did as “men,” the data begins to look different.

England may be a slow pondering semi-socialist bureaucratic behemoth with a #woke complex, but they take lots of notes. Much of their COVID data was responsible for unraveling the lies perpetrated by the Global Public Health elites in the UK and abroad. So the question that stirred things here was why these assaults were being documented as committed by a woman.

Think about it.

If your historical sexual predator data is skewed with assaults by men who later declare themselves women are you more or less likely to look for male or female sex predators down the road? No, but you will get research indicating a shift in predation that isn’t real.

Yes, there is plenty of both. Just look at the public school data. But if you are allocating resources to prevent sexual assault on children – as opposed to normalizing it as the progressives are trying to do now – you’ll be focused in all the wrong places.

And if you are too #woke to even dare to look at women who used to be men because it’s a hate crime, not only will you not find predators, but more male predators will “make the switch (if only on paper) to hide their crimes.

And, bonus, if they do get caught, the idiots in law enforcement will lock them up with hundreds of women for them to abuse in an environment where it may also be a hate crime to accuse them.

So, denying the fundamental laws of science (biology) result in an inability to properly meet out justice to such a degree that what you do results in more injustice.

Nice work, cultural Marxists.

Yes, We Should Have a Discussion What Real Extremists Believe In, Yes?

Fri, 2022-09-30 12:00 +0000

For months, we’ve been told by the Democrats that all Republicans are Extremists!  Even President Biden has called, seemingly, anyone that isn’t a Democrat (or Democrat-aligned) a radical, or a brand new term “semi-fascist”.

Sidenote: so how does that work?  Can one be a “half” fascist” (re Mussolini – Mussolini’s infamous quote also comes to mind: “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state”) and a half something else?  How would that even work? Think fascist/Constitutionalist?

So someone sent me this image from out in Temple:

It provokes a lot of questions, doesn’t it, as the Progressives are INSISTING that men can be women (even as they can’t define what a woman is – or refuse to in revealing their ideology is shallow and hollowed-out).   But it IS funny – the extremists calling we Normals “extremists”.  The Right calls this “projection” since we see it all the time from them.

Wake Up and Laugh: FA & FO Diagram (Language Warning!)

Fri, 2022-09-30 10:30 +0000

It’s almost a Data point post, but not … quite. There is a nice graph, and it is explained in easy-to-understand language, but it includes some adult language, so you’ve been warned.

Make sure the kids or any curse-word-sensitive adults are not in earshot, and then let it rip.

It made me laugh, and I think it has a universal application. Very useful.

You Just “Paid” George Soros $41 Million to Help Illegal Aliens Evade Deportation

Fri, 2022-09-30 01:30 +0000

It’s a good thing we don’t have any issues with over-spending-driven inflation (sarc!) that’s devalued your dollars and driven up the price f everything, or this would look like more wasteful spending (or money laundering – maybe both). Biden’s DOJ just “gave” George Soros forty-on million dollars.

And by “gave,” I mean in the leftist construct when considering money trails that lead to Republicans. If a dollar even gets near big oil or coal or anyone who advocates for affordable energy, it’s dirty, dark, and sinister.

Soros has transferred billions into Left-wing causes and candidates. He s a globalist obsessed with ending America. And he’s not shy about it. So when Joe Biden’s department of (in) Justice hands out a big fat grant to a Soros-connected organization, well – what do we call that?

The Acacia Center for Justice, an NGO with financial ties to the Soros-linked Vera Institute of Justice, scored a contract from Biden’s DOJ to provide “legal services” to border crossers and illegal aliens after they are released into the U.S. interior in the hopes of staying permanently.

The Acacia Center for Justice, a Washington, D.C.,-based nonprofit born from a partnership between the Vera Institute of Justice and Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR), has received six “legal services” contracts from the Department of Justice that carried start dates of Sept. 1, according to records.

This money laundering scheme is not new.

The Soros-linked Vera Institute of Justice, as Breitbart News previously reported, was recently awarded a $172 million contract from Biden’s DOJ to do the same work — help illegal aliens evade deportation from the U.S.

In 2018, the Vera Institute of Justice was previously awarded $310 million by the Obama administration to help Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) avoid deportation.

We don’t have money to enforce the law, but we have plenty to ensure it is unenforceable or unenforced, and we’re giving it to progressive lawyers with ties to big dollar dark money Democrat donor George Soros.

Our Monthly ‘On-Air’ Gig with Liz Gabert – A Lot of Fun and Then We Got Serious near the End.

Fri, 2022-09-30 00:00 +0000

This time, I brought my own camera and started rolling before the show actually started (still playing with the external battery bank mounting driving the recording for the Samsung on the new smartphone gimbal.  So, a bit more than when I just “borrow” footage from WMSN that hosts her show.

I think I’m going to stay with this video process.

Anyways, you can see how much fun with have with Liz – and I look forward to every time making the long drive down for the show. And I think we do a decent job because she keeps asking us down. AND she has ended up having other Groksters on (although not quite the way we are!).  It’s good to have Conservatives getting air time to counter what Ed Mosca points out  concerning WMUR.

Yes, she still doesn’t quite have a handle on how to “handle us” – but all in good fun.

Oh, Adam Sexton, playing to the Progressive crowd in a partisan manner?  WE, at least, make it clear what our lens is – how about you and WMUR?

Indoctrination at Hanover High (“The Most Liberal High School in NH”). Cameo by Deborah Bacon Nelson (Chair., Hanover Democrats)

Thu, 2022-09-29 22:30 +0000

“Who are teaching these kids to hate Conservatives?”

Sounds like that would be the teachers, right?  After all, I’m betting that if I look at the Party registrations of every staff member there, I’m betting than no more than 5% are Republicans.  That, I’m also betting, would be far too kind.

Even Deborah Bacon Nelson, the Chair of the Hanover/Lyme Democrat Committee, is in on this – are you being misogynistic towards a young lady student at Hanover High simply because Estherrr likes the US Constitution?  For shame as I thought that the Democrat Party was all about the #MeToo movement – why won’t you believe Esterrr that the Constitution is good for you – hasn’t your Party DEMANDED that we believe ALL women??  Or only those that agree with you?

Sorry, couldn’t help myself there – this TikTok is a lot more than about that harridan about what’s going on in the school:

@iamestherrr THIS IS INSANE #fyp #liberalindoctrination #saveamerica #bluestate #newhampshire #newhampshiretiktok #conservative #turningpointusa #conservativewomen #liberallogic #brainwashing #patriot #republican ♬ Spooky, quiet, scary atmosphere piano songs – Skittlegirl Sound

So, Parents, did this kind of thing happen when YOU were in school?  Are you going to let it happen in your child’s school?

The Truth Is … Joe Biden’s Agenda And Mitch McConnell’s Agenda Are One and The Same

Thu, 2022-09-29 21:00 +0000

So the Senate just passed a continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown. The CR needed 60 votes to pass, which means that the GOP had the leverage to actually do something about the things they claim to care about. They did NOT:

Indeed, MORE THAN one-half of the so-called GOP Senators voted to advance the Biden-Regime’s America-Last agenda:

God Forgive the Americans for Exploding Nord Stream 2

Thu, 2022-09-29 19:30 +0000

I have entitled this article “God forgive the Americans,” but I don’t really see any basis for forgiveness. They caused an ecological disaster on September 26, 2022, by sabotaging a Russian gas pipeline, known as Nord Stream 2.

We want to thank Mary Maxwell for this Op-Ed Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

Most people don’t know what an ecosystem is. It is a wonder of Nature. It is how plants, animals, land, and waterways interact in a given area. The entire human species — being intelligent — should act together to make sure our planet’s ecosystems don’t get damaged. Instead, we operate as though it did not matter.

Two of the assaults we have been making, for decades, on ocean ecosystems are: overfishing and pollution by plastic debris. There have also been two major oil spills. One, in 1989, was from a tanker, the Exxon Valdez. It spat 11 million gallons of crude oil into the sea off Alaska when the ship hit a reef. Another in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico involved a drilling station. A court blamed BP and Halliburton for faulty concrete.

Now, this week, in September 2022, we have a gas pipeline sabotaged in the Baltic Sea between Russia and Germany. No one yet knows the damage caused, but the blame can be attributed to the Americans. The Americans? I’m American — did I do it? Did I send my navy to place explosives on the underwater pipeline weeks ago and then detonate them from a distance?

Let me tell you. I didn’t do it. I disapprove a thousand percent. But would the average American have given permission for this to happen? Yes, I think so, owing to the following terrible factors (listed in no particular order).

The Closed American Mind

1. Americans have no sense that they do wrong. This attitude is apparently easy to produce — we’ve been told, by media and Hollywood, that every mission we have undertaken was “for the good.”

2. Americans think that they have a representative government. They simply assume that the people support something a president does internationally because we have elections.

3. Americans think they have a constitution that keeps the irrational from happening. For example, it has a clause that says a president can’t make war on his own. The legislature must approve it.

4. Americans have been conditioned to take “regime change” as a prerogative of the US. A foreign leader whom we don’t like must be replaced. This involves either assassinating a country’s leader or stirring up, via agents provocateurs, a “popular revolution.”

5. Americans nevertheless accept any official claim that it wasn’t us who carried out those assassinations or stirred those people up.

6. Americans have no awareness that under the UN Charter’s Article 2, we must “refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.”

7. Americans think, instead, that it’s all right for us to be the world’s policeman (or God’s vicar, or whatever).

8. Americans do not notice that since the US is one of the five “permanent members” of the UN Security Council, it can veto (and has often vetoed) proposals that the rest of the world votes for it.

9. Americans think the TV News people have a direct connection to the facts. If CNN says that Russia is the aggressor against Ukraine, then it must be so.

10. Americans feel that a military action is OK if it is done by NATO, although they have no idea what NATO is, or know that it’s unconstitutional for the US to belong to NATO.

Mother Nature. Long Live Mother Nature?

I want this article to be about the incredible tragedy of our upsetting the ways of Nature, and the ocean’s ecosystem. That is by far and away the most historical aspect of what transpired on Monday, September 26. It makes a joke of all our “political” doings.

However, I will instead try, for the sake of fellow Americans, to pin the blame on us. Why? So we might get over our bad habits and our closed mind. Quickly. Urgently.

In this case — the sabotaging of the Nord Steam pipeline, which is owned by Russia — there can be no claim of our innocence. Recently, Victoria Nuland, US Undersecretary of State, said, “I want to be clear with you today. If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or the other, Nord Stream will not move forward.”

But worse than that, President Biden said, “If Russia invades, there will no longer be a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.” A newswoman in the audience — perhaps planted to put this question, asked, “But how will you do that, exactly, since the project is in Germany’s control?” Biden said, “I promise you, we will be able to do that.”

What Is the Bigger War Plan Here?

I am no expert on the matter of the planning of World War III. The following items have been aired by critics in the last few months:

First, in 2014, the US arranged one of its regime changes in Ukraine. This is a threat to Russia insofar as it shares a border with Ukraine.

Second, over the last several years, the US has brought more and more nations into NATO, including those in eastern Europe. This violates an informal “promise” made by US Sec’y of State James Baker to Russia in 1990 that we would not do this.

Third, the US has recently sent 80 billion dollars to Ukraine to stoke up the action.

I believe various people are planning a nuclear war. Eight years ago, Jim Corbett, in an interview at Glosbalresearch.ca, opined that weapons manufacturers have achieved a privatization of nuclear war. This seems plausible, as companies such as Boeing and Raytheon are bigger than the Pentagon.

American citizens need to form a group to oppose such higgledy-piggledy formation of war policy. The reason I say “citizens” is that the three branches of government are hopeless at this. The executive branch, as just demonstrated by Biden, thinks it has the right to do anything abroad.

The legislative branch always, since the Korean War in 1950, demurs from its responsibility. Only a few members protest when the president overrides Congress’s authority as expressed in Article I, sec 8, clause 11. Even sadder, the judiciary refuses to get involved. See, for example, Dellums v Bush or Maxwell v Trump.

Dear US Citizens, please get your act together. Sitting back and twiddling your thumbs while privateers organize a nuclear strike will have the effect of other nations nuking us, won’t it? And we will deserve it, won’t we?
