Years of Twisting the Truth Has Transformed CNN

Granite Grok - Tue, 2022-09-20 00:00 +0000

CNN was revolutionary when it was turned on by Ted Turner in 1980. It was the television channel to provide 24-hour news coverage and the first all-news television channel in the United States. Initially, CNN was respected as a go-to news source in America and Internationally.

It reached its peak market penetration in 2018 when CNN had 90.1 million households with access to its programming. That was 98% of all households with cable access, and you could not find a TV in any American airport that was not airing CNN.

Once called “The Most Trusted Name in News,” the network has turned to a more dramatic interpretation of the facts and has developed a definite liberal bias that peaked during the Trump term and became its demise during the 2020 Election. As the CNN ratings and market share continued to drop, changes were made in content and on-air personalities.

The three Prime-time leaders for CNN have all been toppled from their spots in 2022. Chris Cuomo was first to be removed when it came to light his participation in his brother’s Governorship and his resignation before his removal from office. Brian Stelter was next as his ratings fell to embarrassing lows.

The one celebrity that they cannot seem to dismiss is Don Lemon. Being Black and gay are two elements that make outright removal impossible. He had been demoted from his Prime-Time slot to a late-night hour, and just this week, he has been further demoted to an early morning slot. It is obvious that the network is trying to get him to resign to save them the trouble they will encounter should they force him out.

CNN Streaming was touted as a brainstorm offshoot of the parent CNN. It was considered a coup of sorts when they signed Chris Wallace away from FOX News. The idea did not last thirty days, a subscription service that attracted very few customers. It costs CNN millions, and the costs may be ongoing as contracts are honored or bought out. This debacle had to have been a total embarrassment for CNN and may have marked the low point in its existence. It has been a revolving door since with the cleaning house of the Prime-Time talent.

We have yet to see what the future is of the slipping network. MSNBC continues to sign new hosts, but how many can be pulled from the ranks of the White House? In the meantime, CNN seems to be taking a slow approach to its restructuring. They can fill the time slots but regaining credibility will be their biggest challenge.

Having dropped to the bottom of the rating battle, CNN has a steep hill ahead.

They may never return to a respectable position and have no one to blame but themselves. They opted to hitch their wagon to the Left bound train when its true purpose of being the watchman was to keep that train on the straight and narrow. They have all lost their way; if they have to call it a day, they will not be missed. Most think they are gone already.

Moneky Pox Vaccine Kills Pro-JAB, Hollywood Make-Up Artist

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 22:30 +0000

I don’t know the guy, and it’s a tragedy, but this individual was all-in on trusting the government with experimental pharmaceuticals. He appears to have been a mask-nazi who ridiculed “anti-vaxxers,” and now he’s dead. He lined up to get a Monkeypox jab, and it looks like it killed him.

What’s more tragic is there’s no evidence the Monkeypox vaccine prevents Monkeypox. Not in Monkeys, at least. Fauci’s NIH proved that 14 years ago. But back to the guy with the thing.

Michael Mosher, a Hollywood makeup artist, has died 9 days after receiving a monkeypox vaccine, according to social media posts. He was reportedly vaccinated for monkeypox on August 25, 2022, and then “died suddenly” on September 3, 2022 … Mosher was also a fan of the COVID-19 shots and fully vaccinated for COVID, while ridiculing “anti-vaxxers” who refused to get the shots.

Dying like this at the hands of a government you trusted is sad, as is trusting the public health officials undermined by them. The hospitals focus on treatments people don’t need, don’t work, or are more likely to kill you. And I get it. That Road to Damascus moment is hard to achieve, but between COVID, CRT, and the Groomers, more people have been red-pilled in recent months than when Trump ran in 2016.

Add the economic collapse, dopey Joe, Crazy Kamala, and a few million more folks might be crossing the divide toward our side. People who may see and hear one thing – as with our former friend Michael Mosher (peace be upon him)- experience something else.

People can’t afford to feed the family, and Democrats are talking about abortion. Really. My kid fell behind a year or two of schooling he’ll never get back because Teacher’s Unions and Democrat politicians hyped a viral threat that it is becoming clear was less of a threat than the vaccine they’re shoving in everyone’s arms.

After you’ve brushed up against enough of these hooligan narratives on the subway, you begin to get suspicious. The foundations of these institutions appear shaky. And as I’ve said more than a few times, that’s the point. The left wants no tower left standing, but how do we split the difference?

They want rubble and ruin, and we’d like to keep going about our lives. As long as you are able and for as long after as you can get away with it, you create parallel “institutions to replace them.

New Media and the internet have spawned entire networks and newspapers to replace the ones that fail us daily. FLCCC (and others) are building an alternative to the corrupted public health-Hospital laundromat for federal money.

As banks and businesses lean into paperless transactions, ESG, and other social-credit communisms, new avenues should develop to circumvent them. And maybe, just maybe, they don’t get their revolution.

As for gay men spreading Monkeypox around the globe, that was never a pandemic nor a threat to public health, but Public health quickly peddled a “treatment” bought en masse by the medical experts in the oval office. And much like the COVID vaccine debacle, we are only now learning that it might not have been safe or effective either, and someone’s friend died as a result.

Oh, and not unlike this case, I’m sure the Public Health Ministers will assure us that Michael’s actual cause of death will be something natural, like whatever the press will repeat.

Hanover Right To Know – What’s in YOUR School Library?

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 21:00 +0000

WARNING: The material at the bottom of this post is NOT work-friendly – not for younger children either. You’ve been warned!

As I surf the ‘Net, it’s clear that Public Education is still in the news all around the US.  One of two things is clear: Either they LIKE being a punching bag, or they just don’t care what conservative and of faith parents think of them.  As the US goes more secular (and NH continues in becoming even more unchurched), one of the prime places that young children are going to be “learning their morality” is from their teachers, many of whom are crazed Woksters believing they have the right to indoctrinate them.

And nothing says “indoctrination,” like having pornography in school libraries available to our little ones.  Do YOU know what your child can access?  Parents all over the country have been finding out the hard way. When they do, they head back to their school boards to tell off their elected representatives…

Sidenote: STOP referring to them as “school board members” – you voted for them, you elected them – they are your ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES that happen to sit on a school board. Change that point of view of their and demand that they become more responsive to you AS elected representatives.

So, as I did last week to my School Board, I dropped this on the Hanover School Board:

And the RSA 91A demand itself:

Pursuant to the Right to Know Law (RSA. 91-A:4 (I) ), I am demanding access, within 5 business days, to the below enumerated governmental records. Otherwise, if this cannot be fulfilled within that mandated window per RSA 91-A, please advise when the Responsive Records will be made available.

This request is for the Hanover/SAU 70 School District library “card catalog”. This is for any and all books located in the following:

  • District-wide “main” library
  • Each school within the District’s “main” library
  • If a school has multiple “main” libraries (such as Brockton High, Brockton, MA)
  • All classrooms with cataloged books that are tracked by the District.

The information for each Responsive Record shall include:

  • Name of the book
  • Name of the Author(s)
  • Content Summary
  • ISBN identification (or other such designated ID)I
  • Name of the School
  • If a School has multiple libraries, a designation of which library is being referenced (in the case of Brockton High, the five libraries: Red, Azure/Blue, Green, Yellow, and the Science libraries)
  • Name/designation of the Classroom within a School

Per RSA 91-A:4 IV(c) If you deny any portion of this request, please cite the specific exemption used to justify the denial to make each record, or part thereof, unavailable for inspection along with a brief explanation of how the exemption applies to the information withheld.

As you are aware, in 2016, the New Hampshire Supreme Court ruled that a governmental body in possession of records is required to produce them in electronic media using standard common file formats: Green v. SAU #55, 168 N.H. 796, 801 (2016). Unless there is some reason that it is not reasonably practical to produce such, explain why it is not practical to comply.

Please also note, per RSA 91-A:4 III, III-a, and III-b, you are required to maintain the safety and accessibility of such responsive records. This also includes such responsive records (e.g., emails) which may have been deleted from respective Inboxes but are still available on the applicable email server or in your / email host backup system(s).

Please let me know when these records will be sent to me for inspection. You may email the responsive records to me at Skip@GraniteGrok.com. If the volume turns out to be substantial, I have already set up a Dropbox folder to use in uploading those responsive records.

Thank you for your lawful attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

After all, their school librarians had already donned their “stick in YOUR eye” attitude in starting a celebration of “sexuality Molon Labe” towards such parents that want to keep their kids as innocent as possible for as long as possible.  IMHO, there is no valid reason why elementary students, especially grades K-4, should be involved with this early sexualization of our kids just because schools believe they can override how parents wish to raise their children.

Like this (Hanover’s Richmond Middle School Library) sent to me by a concerned parent who is STEAMING that this is going on behind their back:

(click to embiggen – and yes, I have asked for a “360” set of pictures to see what else is on that circular table).

And yes, explicit pornography in some of these books.  In fact, here’s a parody that was also sent to me of their “Banned Book” celebration week.  And yes, this is not kid friendly and it does break Rule #1 but I can’t figure out how to make a better impact than showing EXACTLY what these school librarians are demanding to show your impressionable kids:

Celebrate

SAU 70 Banned Book Week

Sep 18- 23

Come celebrate all of the books deemed too inappropriate by other schools to have in their libraries.

Come to the Richmond Middle School Library to express your support.

Watch how 11 year-old boys perform oral sex on each other with step-by-step graphical instructions in Gender Queer

Experience how 10 year-old boys enjoy fellating grown men in Lawn Boy

Learn how to taste your own vaginal slime in Gender Queer

Admire how the 9/11 first responders were subhuman racists in Between the World and Me

AND SO MUCH MORE!

Let’s all thank the following SAU70 leadership for their courageous work bringing these wonderful books to our school

Chris Putnam-Pouliet (Librarian): chrisputnampouliot@sau70.org

Tim Boyle (Principal): timboyle@hanovernorwichschools.org

Yet this is what YOUR school system(s) are promoting to your children.  Are YOU ok with this?

So, let’s see what’s in their wallets card catalog?  Or better put, what’s hiding in YOUR child’s school libraries?

UPDATE before publishing:  I did get a response from the Hanover School District Chair:

My Theory On Why Bolduc Flip-Flopped On The 2020 Election

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 19:30 +0000

Since I posted Massive Unforced Mistake By Don Bolduc, I have been thinking about why Bolduc completely reversed his position on the 2020 election almost immediately after winning the primary. I’ll share with you my theory.

Bolduc, relatively speaking, is BROKE. And he has shown no ability whatsoever to raise money. Needless to say, to beat Hassan he is going to need money … lots and lots of money. Mitch McConnell has money … lots and lots of money. TO CUT TO THE CHASE … I think the flip-flop was the price Mitch demanded that Bolduc pay for his monetary support:

The question … if you accept this theory … becomes whether to support Bolduc despite this accommodation. Perhaps in Bolduc’s mind the situation was analogous to the United States allying with the Soviet Union to defeat Nazi Germany. Perhaps there is nothing to my theory. Thoughts?

Donald Trump’s Real Estate Successes and Flops

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 18:46 +0000

Donald Trump, is the richest individual ever to hold the position of the President of the United States. His wealth is no surprise as prior to his political career, he was renowned for his acumen in real estate investment.

Having lost the last election at the polls, he promised to contest in the 2024 elections. While there’s a declining prospect of a Trump presidency, in this piece, we will look at his career in real estate.

Over the years, he has bought and sold properties, from single-room apartments to casinos and skyscrapers. A number of these investments were excellent, while others didn’t turn out so well. Below we have discussed a few notable deals.

Grand Hyatt Hotel

Donald Trump’s purchase of the Commodore Hotel in 1976 was among his early real estate wins. He partnered with the Hyatt Organization and purchased the $1.5 million debt-ridden business for $10 million. The investment was a risky one but it turned out a success, with the building being transformed into the iconic Grand Hyatt Hotel.

He sold his stake in the hotel to the Hyatt Organization for $142 million. Certainly, a success and a huge profit for Trump, however, the building is going to be demolished in 2023.

Trump Tower

When the Trump Tower opened in the early 80s, it instantly became one of the monuments of Manhattan. The 58-story building contained luxury residences, opulent retailers, and premium eateries. There’s been a bit of controversy regarding the size of the penthouse apartment.

Donald Trump had previously claimed it is 30,000 square feet, while financial statements in 2017 stated 11,000 square feet. Nonetheless, the purchase of the property was a huge success as it recorded notable profits.

By 1987, apartment sales had generated up to $240 million. In 2019, SEC filing records stated that revenue from rented-out restaurants and shops reached a total of $13.3 million. It was also used as a hub for the ex-president’s election campaign in 2020.

At this time, the Trump Tower continued to rake in cash, bolstering the income of the property by $1.6 million. Its value was estimated at $450 million in 2017, though Forbes places it around $371 million today.

Trump Plaza Hotel

The remarkable edifice in Atlantic City, New Jersey was opened in 1984. The costs for putting up the structure and the accompanying decorations totaled about $210 million. Unlike the first two investments, this didn’t turn out well.

Operations of the casino began to hit the rocks when Trump poured funds into other ventures in the following year. Undertaking other projects like the Trump Taj Mahal meant funds were not concentrated on the Trump Plaza Hotel. Taking on loans for these structures also led to a $3 billion debt.

After several filings for bankruptcy, the Plaza was shut down in 2014 and demolished in 2021. While it seemed like a blow for a couple of New Jersey casino enthusiasts, the rise of online casinos has served as a perfect substitute. To help players, comparison sites recommend operators with perks like online casino no deposit bonus offers for signing up. The platform also provides in-depth reviews of each casino and information on how to claim bonuses, along with game tips and frequently asked questions to assist new players.

Mar-a-Lago

The resort in Palm Beach, Florida was purchased in 1985 following a bit of drama. Trump had initially offered $15 million to the previous owners who refused to sell. As a result, he bought the land separating the estate from the ocean and announced a plan to build a structure on it.

Knowing the building will block the elegant sea view from the Mar-a-Lago and reduce its value to other purchasers, the owners gave in to selling it. Trump eventually acquired the entire estate for the sum of $8 million.

On its purchase, the Mar-a-Lago was converted to a private club, with a $100,000 charge for new members who were initiated. It has been one of the most successful Trump enterprises, raking in profits of more than $15.6 million in 2014.

It also recorded a remarkable increase in 2020, with up to $22.3 million in profits. Most recently, it was raided by the FBI in August 2022 in the execution of a search warrant on the ex-president.

Palate Cleanser – The SloMo Guys Are at It Again: 2 Inch Gun

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 18:00 +0000

No, not a 2″ BORE gun, just a gun that is 2 inches in size.  A toy, if you wish, but if up close, it would be one of those “that’ll leave a mark”.  No, not a large mark and if you are wearing a coat, your ears will hurt worse than the impact.  However, I love these slow-motion videos and it has been a while since I put one up,2-inch and at 12,500 frames per second, it’s interesting:

MONDAY MEMES

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 16:30 +0000

They’re flying so thick and fast it is amazing.  And take heart – there will be a Meme Overflow and I will back-edit to include the link.  And potentially there will be a Friday Meme Overflow-Overflow.

Remember, ridicule and mockery are effective weapons:

  1. Ridicule cannot easily be fought
  2. Ridicule makes the enemy angry, and angry people make mistakes
  3. For those in the “squishy middle” a Thought Splinter (and Part II and Part III) can often be hidden inside humor.  Stand by for Thought Splinters IV… when I can get to it.  Work has ramped up and other things too.

Now, let the mockery and mayhem begin.

2nd Amendment Obliterated? Federal Gun Control Already on the Books

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 15:00 +0000

If you’re like me, you’ve heard a lot of people talking lately about how the 2nd Amendment is under attack. And it sure is – in a pretty serious way.

Unfortunately, however, a lot of these same people come across as if the attacks really just started in the last two years. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Even just a quick look at the long and growing list of federal gun control measures on the books should make it clear to any constitution-supporter that the 2nd Amendment isn’t just newly under attack. It hasn’t been in force for close to a century.

Scroll down to dead on for the lowlights – which I also covered in a podcast this week.

1934: National Firearms Act

Federal gun control laws have been in effect more or less since the 1934 National Firearms Act (NFA) was enacted. It set up excise taxes for the manufacturing and transfer of certain firearms and required permits for the ownership of weapons including machine guns, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, and sound suppressors.

1968: Gun Control Act

This one requires gun sellers to obtain a federal firearms license (FFL) to operate legally and banned mail order purchase of firearms. It also banned the importation of inexpensive handguns known as “Saturday night specials,” which gave poor people access to guns to protect themselves in urban areas.

The act also included a bunch of restrictions on who people can buy or sell from, as well as age requirements, and federal form 4473 – paperwork errors easily leads as the majority of ATF enforcement actions today.

1986: Firearm Owners “Protection” Act

While it reopened ammunition orders by mail and banned (in theory, at least) the U.S. Government from keeping a registry directly linking non-NFA firearms to their owners, the law also restricted the sale of machine guns manufactured after that point to the military and law enforcement.

In other words, the law loosened regulations in one area by tightened them in other areas.

Even the theoretical ban on a registry has been obliterated by the ATF, which now has close to a billion records in a searchable, digital database.

1988: Undetectable Firearms Act

I don’t know about the people who support this one, but I’ve read the 2nd Amendment, and sure haven’t found it to say “shall not be infringed… unless the government can’t detect it.”

If we adopted the attitude of the founders, ALL guns would be undetectable to the government.

1993: Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act

This required federal background checks on firearm purchasers, effectively implementing a “guilty until proven innocent” policy concerning gun rights. From this came the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) in 1998. In short, rather than having a right to keep and bear arms that “shall not be infringed” – people are required, by the tens of millions each year – to first get approval from the FBI before purchasing a firearm.

It’s not liberty if it requires a government permission slip.

2018: Bump Stock Ban

By executive fiat, the ATF implemented a presidential order to redefine a bump stock-equipped gun as a machine gun, putting it under the purview of another unconstitutional ban, and setting the precedent for the current administration to use the same approach for even more federal gun control.

2022: Safer Communities Act

Among other things, the act sets up federal funding to urge states to implement red flag laws. It expands the number of people required to get a federal dealer license, expanding the number of background checks, and it enhances background checks in many situations.

Every single one of these are unconstitutional because the number of federal gun control laws and regulations that are authorized by the constitution is ZERO.

New Jab Same as the Old Jab – Everything You Can Know About the New Bivalent COVID EUA “Crat” Boosters

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 13:30 +0000

Two weeks ago, I visited the latest in public health transparency. I call it the rat booster, though I’ve since updated that to ‘crat booster.’ It’s only ever been tested on rats but no one will share the data, and mostly Demo”crats” will line up to get it. Here’s why you should skip it.

Dr. Meryl Ness has been publishing Meryl’s COVID Newsletter for while. It is very much worth your time. She provides detailed information not only about the relevant biology and chemistry (where needed) but the evaluation processes, if you dare call them that. It’s brilliant stuff (her recent Money Pox updates will have the Jab-em-all and let God sort them out, folks less than pleased).

Stay on Target

Dr. Ness’ piece is long, detailed, and exposes in clear language why too few at the top of the public health hierarchy take public health seriously and, as such, should not be trusted. My words, not hers, but it’s hard to miss that point as Meryl lays out the details.

  • Your federal government ordered 105 million doses from Pfizer, and 66 million doses from Moderna before the FDA or CDC had given emergency use authorization to any new booster formulation.
  • Each is composed of 50% omicron mRNA and 50% ancestral mRNA, and they are termed bivalent vaccines.
  • This is the fastest rollout of a new vaccine in world history.
  • It occurred the only way it could possibly occur:  by bending the rules, creating a new regulatory playbook and failing to obtain any human data for the new vaccines

Here is an amazing fact:  On the same day that the CDC gave its approval to start the vaccine program, September 1, health agencies in Canada, Switzerland and the European Union’s FDA (the European Medicines Association) also rolled out new, bivalent booster shot programs.  Almost simultaneously, the UK authorized 2 different bivalent boosters on August 15 and September 3.

  • Instead of helping you understand what just happened, the New York Times asks, “When should you get yours?”  Not should you get it, just when should you get it. The Herald Tribune tells you why you should get it. (We should expect the same from our local media watchdogs.)
  • You won’t be getting the information you need to understand the boosters and the process by which they were ushered in from the major media.
  • FDA did not convene its advisory committee before issuing the authorizations

Everyone knows the term “safe and effective,” which is an official FDA stamp of approval for licensed drugs and vaccines.  However, by law the term cannot be used by FDA to refer to unlicensed, experimental products, which is what all emergency use authorized drugs and vaccines are.  So FDA tried to hint at the desired terminology without using it.

A bit late for that revelation, given that billions of doses of EUA drugs were distributed and injected while everyone up and down the Public Health Industrial Food Chain (which includes every politician of the political stooge) aped it.

FDA justifies its assessment that the untested vaccines are safe using the following argument:  “The safety data accrued with the bivalent vaccine (original and omicron BA.1) and with the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine are relevant to the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent because these vaccines are manufactured using the same process.”

No mention that none of the mRNA COVID vaccines was safe or effective.

  • CDC knew that it would have a hard time convincing the public to take these vaccines … Therefore, CDC needed to employ new strategies. One strategy was to invoke the ‘bandwagon effect.’  You try to convince the public that everyone else is getting the shot, so they too should jump on the bandwagon.
  • Only 33% of the population has already gotten a first booster, while 67% have said, ‘No thanks.’  And the interest in COVID jabs is way down. Under 5% of preschoolers have received a COVID vaccine in the 3 months since they were authorized.
  • The federal government allocated a billion dollars to buy advertising and guarantee positive news coverage (and suppress bad news) to push the earlier COVID vaccines. One wonders how much will be spent to push the new boosters.

And that’s just snippets from the first half. Dr. Ness goes into estimated efficacy, safety, Reactogenicity, the effectiveness of the previous versions, Myocarditis, effects on pregnancy, and a whole lot of evidence that the cover-up continues, but the game is still on.

While you’re wading, make sure to sign up for Meryl’s newsletter, it is free.

Meryl Nass is a physician and researcher who proved the world’s largest anthrax epidemic was due to biological warfare. She revealed the dangers of the anthrax vaccine. Her license was suspended for prescribing COVID medications and ‘misinformation.’

ICYMI – Gun Grabbers Convince Credit Card Companies To Help Them Harass Law Abiding Gun Owners

What was it I said earlier this year? Tyranny never rests, so – like them – neither shall we. And so it goes. The gun grabbers asked the Credit Card company folks to create merchant codes specific to firearms and ammunition. You know so that they can track them.

And while I get that there are criminals who engage in credit card fraud – firearms for illegal use are not purchased with a VISA. They are acquired illegally via theft, cash sales, and no receipts or records.

New York Attorney General Letitia James and California Attorney General Rob Bonta sent a letter to chief executives at American Express, Mastercard and Visa, urging them to support a merchant category code.

Will they be like SKUs and PLUs on fruit? Those little stickers that tell the grocer (cashier/scanner) if it is a banana, or an organic banana, or whatever sort of apple is in the bag. No. You won’t have to peel little stickers off your ammo or deal with the adhesive residue. Items identified as firearms or ammunition will get a special code in the credit card registry of everything ever bought or sold on a charge card, so doofus losers like NY Governor Kathy Hochul can say this supports the fight against crime.

“Together we can help stop gun trafficking & keep New Yorkers safe,” she posted.

No. This is not about that, and you know it. Gun traffickers are not using the American Express Card that they did not leave home without to transact business. This has only one purpose and one purpose only.

To serve as a registry for everyone who legally purchased guns or ammunition so you can either leak the list (oops!) or, when you get ballsy enough, send someone else’s loved ones to go door to door to collect them.

It will not prevent gun crime or violent crime. But it might be useful to implicate people in purchasing weapons they never truly owned. In case you need that look.

Then there is all this talk of the cashless society—Commerce communism. But I guess you’ll need all the guns before you can get to that part of your plan.

Who Polices Government?

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 10:30 +0000

A poll taken years ago revealed only 2% of Americans knew the God-given five basic liberties that the First Amendment demands that “Congress shall make no law against.” After enduring two years of Governor Sununu ignoring these inherent rights that both the NH and U.S. Constitutions secure, one wonders if he’s among the 98%.

Our Governor, during his tenure in office, hasn’t given any evidence that he knows the fundamental premise of Americanism. Article 1, section 1, immediately following the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution, says “ALL” legislative power shall be vested in Congress. This power negates the legitimacy of all Executive Orders that our Governor has supported for federal mandates.

We want to thank Russ Payne for this Op-Ed Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

Would the Governor or the President please tell us where the constitutional authorization is? For federal executive power to make law doesn’t exist that took civil liberties away during the lockdown or the mandates initiated through the DHHS/OSHA for mass vaccination.

Our Honorable Governor is not ignorant of these laws. So why does he ignore the constitutional law ensuring ordered liberty for well over two centuries? For he has sworn before the Supreme Judge of the universe to obey these supreme laws of NH, and the voters should ask him why he continues to break his word against these sacred laws.

Maybe too many people believe he’s a good governor because the governors of New York and California have made him look better than he is. Ask yourself a question, who polices government?

You do!

How can you hold your officeholders accountable if you lack the knowledge of how this great document limits political action?

Has The Jab Killed More Americans in 6 Months Than the Vietnam War in Ten Years?

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 01:30 +0000

It began with reports of athletes dropping dead – not exactly something you can hide. Their numbers grew so quickly that progressive Wikipedia stopped counting them to help hide speculation it was the vaccine. But it got worse, and it wasn’t just athletes.

By November of 2021, just a few months into the vaccine, mandates, and now boosters, all-cause excess deaths had skyrocketed to as high as 84% above average. It wasn’t COVID. It was everything – a mass culling of young, working-age people across Europe and America unlike any ever seen. And they had two things in common. They were too young to drop dead in these volumes at these ages, and it followed mass vaccination or vaccine mandates by employers, universities, and governments.

Only a war with massive and contact casualties could wipe up so much life and even then, never is such a short time as the States Vaccine mandate policies.

Related: New Research: The mRNA Vaccines Can Make You More Susceptible to the Rona … and Other Viruses

We were fortunate to share news (warnings) on these topics early on, after months of data suggesting no one even needed a vaccine for the Wuhan Flu. Opinion with data you’d be hard pressed to find from your watchdog media.

The Band Keeps Playing

Last week, New Hampshire accepted another 6 million dollars to support more COVID19 vaccination, this time with a byproduct of the original that has had no human testing. Little to no testing at all.

They are for experimental use only. Like their predecessors, this means there is no other viable, less invasive treatment (but there is). It requires detailed information before consent can be given (that didn’t happen with the original drugs either). But here we are. COVID vaccines we were right to fear were forced on millions using fear of a flu that posed little threat.

Safe and effective. That’s what you heard. On the news, in the print media, on Facebook, and on Twitter. From your employers, especially hospitals and clinics.

They all lied, and we can’t talk about this enough. The proof continues to accumulate.

It’s also available here (slightly shorter) and here. And there is more to follow. The body count is massive, and anyone who peddled the safe and effective lie who is running for office should be forced to confront these numbers.

And yes, it looks like The Jab has killed more young Americans in a matter of months than Vietnam took in a decade. And The Jab’s not through.

When Asked if Obama Would Welcome Illegals On His Estate, Former Prez Gave Predictable Response

Granite Grok - Mon, 2022-09-19 00:00 +0000

Former president Barack Obama calls Martha’s Vineyard home, at least in the summer. A man who thinks climate change will cause sea levels to rise and that racism is in this country’s DNA apparently have no problem spending $15 million on a coastal island estate whose inhabitants are more than 90% white.

It should come as no surprise to learn, then, that the man who said this country “is and always has been a nation of immigrants” and added that the “basic idea of welcoming immigrants” is central to being an American today has been absolutely silent on the arrival and subsequent deportation of fifty illegal immigrants to his quaint summer hood.

As Fox News writes, the former president neither offered his home, the acreage upon which the house was built, or any public response to Ron DeSantis’ powerhouse exposure of leftist hypocrisy.

Former President Barack Obama and several other high-profile Democrats who own homes on Martha’s Vineyard have remained silent on whether they will open up their homes to provide comfort to any illegal immigrants sent to the island by Republican governors.

Representatives for the former president did not respond to multiple requests for comment from Fox News Digital on whether he has considered opening up his sprawling 29-acre estate on Martha’s Vineyard to illegal immigrants who have been sent to the island or may be in the future.

In addition, Fox News Digital reached out to representatives for prominent public supporters of President Biden who own homes on Martha’s Vineyard but did not receive a response.

Those Martha’s Vineyard residents include singer James Taylor, director Spike Lee and comedian David Letterman, who all reportedly have homes on the island.

Former Trump Advisor Stephen Miler appropriately pointed out that the Obamas could have absorbed DeSantis’ arrivals – on their own. Somehow, the shrieking hyenas running the supposed homeless shelter couldn’t manage to support just fifty arrivals, and this entire time it would have taken just one family to handle everything.

Obama’s compound alone – if cots, trailers and tents are installed – could easily house several thousand illegal migrants,” former Trump adviser Stephen Miller tweeted. “Americans, during actual natural disasters (not illegal immigration for economic benefit) have been forced to sleep in stadiums and makeshift FEMA shelters.

The reference to trailers and tents can easily be seen as a reference to Barack Obama’s 60th birthday party last year, an event that hosted hundreds of guests under makeshift structures. The event also violated most Covid recommendations at the time from many other Democrat leaders, such as not requiring proof of vaccination, a negative test, six feet of separation, and the wearing of a mask.

Fox News also reported that it wasn’t just Obama and a few other celebrities being massively hypocritical. The entire island is one big cesspool of virtue-signaling leftists.

Duke’s County, which comprises 11 islands off the coast of Massachusetts but is 99% represented by residents of Martha’s Vineyard, voted overwhelmingly for President Biden in the 2020 election by a margin of 77.7% to former President Trump’s 20.6%.

Biden carried every town on the island from Aquinnah on the western coast, where he won 87.6% to 9.6%, to the main hub of Edgartown on the eastern coast, where he won 70.6% to 27.5%.

Former President Obama carried Duke’s County by 48 points in 2012 and by 52 points in 2008.

Debra Altschiller is Not Very Good At Filing Campaign Finance Reports

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 22:30 +0000

You might know Democrat Rep Debra Altschiller for alleged attempts …to censor the press, hit an old lady, suppress free speech on public sidewalks, create speech carveouts for legislators to suppress the free speech of others, and just being an intolerable Democrat stooge, but now there’s this.

AG warns state Senate candidate The Sunday News received a copy of a letter from Attorney General John Formella’s elections unit regarding past campaign finance reports from state Rep. Debra Altschiller, D-Stratham, who is running for the state Senate this fall.

The Aug. 25 letter from Deputy General Counsel Myles Matteson noted that in 2020, Altschiller failed to file seven different campaign finance reports, and the ones that she did did not itemize expenses or document starting balances.

The letter gave Altschiller seven days to refile these reports.

Altshitler says she’s filed them and zer is nothing to zee here. Move Along! Schnell! Or what? You’ll try to suppress our free speech (again!). That’s your thing. You’ve been at the forefront of nearly every recent left-wing, ding-dong, Democrat effort to use the state to silence free press or free speech. It’s an odd hobby, given that her husband is the editor of a Seacoast Press group.

Newspapers, yes. The Free Press that prints the only press that’s free to print. And by that, I mean free from the Sauron-like eye of the likes of Altshitler because it would never dare to publish her voting record in a manner unbecoming.

Anyway, I went and looked, and the reports were there but were clearly absent otherwise, the AGs office wouldn’t have had to send her a reminder two years later. Poor housekeeping that given it was two years ago. It’s not a good sign when a candidate who wants to spend billions of other people’s dollars can’t be bothered to follow the law. Someone with a history of trying to silence people who just share what she says and does or how she votes.

Yes, she is running for public office again. The NH Senate. District 24, Democrat Tom (thinks he can be governor) Sherman’s seat. He’s challenging Gov. Sununu, who is still, for reasons unknown, very popular with the people, so someone else will have to take over for Tom while he loses.

District 24 encompasses Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, New Castle, North Hampton, Newton, Rye, Seabrook, Stratham, and South Hampton. The map is not stable, so if that has changed, my apologies. And Republicans win the seat often enough, so Altshitler isn’t a shoo-in, nor should she be in at all.

And not just because she’s dismissive of campaign finance law. If history is any guide, the moment her butt warms one of those seats, she’ll come after the free speech again.

On a positive note, I think she snaps like a twig when you bring it up.

Glenn Youngkin Is A Real Republican … Sun-King Chris Sununu Is NOT

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 21:00 +0000

One of the many failings of Sun-King Sununu … from the perspective of those who expect politicians who call themselves Republicans to act like Republicans … is his cowardice and complicity towards CRT and grooming. In contrast, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is on the side of AND ACTUALLY FIGHTING FOR parents and students:

“Staff and students cannot be forced to use preferred pronouns, and on bathrooms and locker room use, students must use facilities consistent with his or her sex.”

Death by Hospital Survivor Shares Her Story

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 19:30 +0000

Hospitals are corporations, many of them non-profits with politically protected hoards. They exist to make money, but it’s not considered profit. So, when the government said hey, do it our way, and we’ll pay you huge sums, they said sure. Or do I have that backward?

Did the hospitals say if you want us to do it your way, we’ll need vast sums of money, and the political machine said, okay?

It is a point of order or contention or splitting of legal hairs if anyone manages to sue one or the other for wrongful death successfully. That could lead to the largest class action lawsuit in history—death by hospital. The culling of millions was a matter of public health policy that ignored public health.

Early treatment with existing licensed drugs was not just frowned upon but prohibited. Doctors and pharmacists were warned off. Threats of licenses pulled. And we’ve lost a few of our own to this process, but this woman managed to survive it, and she’s sharing that story.

[Mrs. Gail] Seiler went in for a monoclonal antibody infusion with the request that she be given the early-treatment protocols prescribed through the Front Line Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), which included the use of ivermectin and budesonide.

However, when staff discovered she was unvaccinated, “the whole tone changed,” she said.

“I quickly lost the right to advocate for my own medical care,” she said.

Seiler alleges her assigned physician told her she was going to die. By law, this legally entitled her to the Right to Try (ivermectin and budesonide), but the hospital refused. She was isolated with no visitors and told she needed Remdesivir, which she declined. The hospital listed her as do not resuscitate (DNR) when she requested the opposite. But to remove the DNR, the hospital told her she had to go on a ventilator.

Patients are over-oxygenated, undernourished, and sedated if they object to the treatment killing them. All the while isolated with no visitors. And when they die, the hospital cashes in and calls it public health.

Sieler got out and found treatment and survived when the hospital wanted her left for dead.

Good News.

There is a lawsuit. “In a Sept. 7 conference titled “Remdesivir Death: Landmark Lawsuit” in Fresno, California, two attorneys announced lawsuits against three hospitals for what they allege are the hospitals using remdesivir without informed consent, leading to wrongful death.”

The lawsuit addressed what the attorneys called “the remdesivir protocol,” in which the patients may be admitted to the hospital—often for problems unrelated to COVID-19—and then diagnosed with COVID-19 or COVID pneumonia.

The patients are then isolated and malnourished before being told remdesivir is their only treatment option, according to the lawsuit.

The patients are also placed on a BiPap machine, which uses pressure to push oxygen into the lungs at a high rate, the lawsuit says, with the patients’ hands often tied down so they can’t remove it.

The final stage of the protocol is intubation, at which point the patients die an average of nine days after being admitted, the lawsuit states.

It sounds precisely how our friend John Irish died, how he was murdered.

We are excited for Gail and interested in the lawsuit, but being jaded, bloggers are not yet committed to it as some path to justice. Too many players in its pursuit are tied to the same money that encouraged hospitals to adopt protocols that unnecessarily end human lives.

But we hope for the best and will continue reporting stories that the media cannot be bothered or were paid to ignore.

We’ve got the time, we might as well make good use of it.

Moon Landing Hoax Confession

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 18:00 +0000

Although I am a conspiracy theorist, I don’t believe every conspiracy story that goes floating by. Granted, there are some false-flag events that are so obvious you could hardly fail to identify them as false. But there are other stories out there that may or may not be true.

The first time I bumped into a false flag was in 1990, when my spouse and I were living in the Persian Gulf. It was claimed that Saddam Hussein was about to invade Kuwait, and therefore the US needed to bomb the living daylights out of Saddam. The usual — as we now see it.

We want to thank Mary Maxwell for this Op-Ed Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

I can’t explain how I knew the event was not cricket. But we did at least know, by that point, that the US had provided arms to both sides during the Iran-Iraq War, which lasted from 1980 to 1988, basically the Reagan years. Providing arms to both sides in a war is disgusting. My friend, who was an Anglican vicar in the region, said he saw umpteen amputees in Iraq.

In 1989, George HW Bush became president. By August 1990, we had Operation Desert Shield, and by January 1991, we had Desert Storm. My reaction in early January was to hop up to Boston and make a press release — ask me about that later. (Nobody believed anything other than what our government and media said.)

Anyway, when 2001 rolled around a decade later, you would think I’d be perky enough to see the WTC tragedy, too, as a false flag. (“False flag” refers to incidents that give rise to war and are later seen to have been “arranged.”)

However, shortly before September 2001, one of my respected teachers, himself an Arab, had told me that Osama bin Laden was a real worry. So when the telly said Osama did 9-11, it all made sense. Yes, “blowback,” you know. “Arabs hate us for our involvement in the region.”

It wasn’t until February 2005 that I got the corrected story (Inside job.) I thought I was one of the few who knew, so I was pretty scared. At the time, I was in Canada, so I wrote a letter immediately and delivered it to the local police and to a judge — very typical of me. I also tried to bring a copy to the bishop, but the taxi driver couldn’t find his residence.

Sorry, this is long-winded — I only want to say that every claim of a false flag operation does not win my patronage. I have to get into it with full attention and canvass all the resources. As it happens, I got drawn into four such cases to such an extent that I wrote books about them.

(Two occurred in Australia — the Port Arthur massacre of 1996 and the Sydney siege of 2014. And two in the USA, the Boston Marathon bombing and the Sandy Hook school shooting; all four are false flags. Most of my investigation was done via court documents. And don’tcha be fooled by the current media circus regarding Alex Jones.)

To the Moon, Then

I have never had the opportunity to examine the claim that the US moon landing of 1969 was a hoax. Offhand, it seemed to me that the very story of it being a hoax was a hoax. So I did not pursue it.

Some of my friends think I am being stubborn by believing the official story. That’s not quite correct. I just had nothing strong enough (without doing good research) to push me into disbelieving. There were videos on the Internet that showed what looked to be the astronauts practicing getting out of the spaceship on earth. I thought, “OK, that was a good precaution in case the camera on the big day did not work.” Nothing hoax-y about that.

I have also been chided for not taking seriously the announcement that astronauts cannot pass through the Van Allen Belt without getting radiated to death. The reason I was not moved by that, is that I used to live around the corner, in Adelaide, Australia, from Sir Mark Oliphant.  He told me plenty of stories before he died in 2000. I assumed that if he hadn’t quizzed the Van Allen Belt problem, there was nothing to quiz. (Oliphant, in the 1920s, was a protege in of Ernst Rutherford, at Cambridge, who figured out that atoms contain a positively-charged nucleus.)

Long story short, a friend sent me the video today of the son of Cyrus Akers. It is a deathbed confession of the son, dated 2022, telling what his dad told him in 2002. The dad was privy to a government secret. Needless to say, I cannot teach anyone that the moon landing was a hoax based on a video narrated by someone who us not able to be quizzed. (He died in February 22.)

Nevertheless, for my own satisfaction, the video did the trick. I think the son’s story and the dad’s story pass the sniff test. You can watch it below. Here is what he says (from 4 minutes on the tape to 11 minutes):

In 1968 Lyndon Johnson went to Canon Air Force Base, New Mexico, where Dad Akers was stationed. Akers and 14 others were sworn to secrecy. Trucks arrived with all the props needed for a lunar-landing scene. As best as I can attempt the spelling of names, from hearing Son Akers rattle them off, they are as follows:

Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Werner von Braun, Robert Eminare (filmmaker), Jean [or Gene?] Crag, James Will, Joe Perrin, Dr. Thomas Payne, Lan Loddy, Dr. Crout [or Kraut?], General Trudeau, Lt Col Donald Sims, Grant Norray “of the FBI or CIA or NSA,” and — wait for it — Dr. James Van Allen (after whom the Belt was named).

I don’t know if you will believe the video. But if you do believe it, you will be mighty pissed off, as I am, to think how we are made fools of. I am particularly furious that my parents were thusly mocked. Not that they were into science; they simply watched it on TV and would have felt proud.

Retch! And the very day of the landing was my father’s 70th birthday. He was born on July 20, 1899. Also, when “we landed on the moon,” it was the day after Ted Kennedy had had a problem at Cape Cod with a girl, Mary Jo Kopechne, who drove off a bridge in his car and drowned at Chappaquiddick.

Come to think of it, that was a false flag of sorts. Let me quote from page 19 of my 2011 book “Prosecution for Treason.” I learned of this from a 1971 book by Zad Rust, entitled Teddy Bare:

“The next morning, July 21, 1969, Mary Jo’s body was sent to her home state on a Kennedy-chartered plane, thus avoiding Massachusetts’ autopsy jurisdiction. A deputy sheriff, Christopher Look, had said he saw the car on dry ground an hour after it supposedly tumbled, but he was not called to testify…

“The grand jury was run by Judge Paquet. At the hearing, he brought with him and invited to his bench the Rev. Donald Cousa who offered a short prayer ‘for prejudice to be set aside and replaced by charity.”

Retch!

Now for the movie. It was uploaded by Bart Sibrel on September 13, 2022. Has 109,000 views so far. And has not been deleted from YouTube!

Parody Flashback: Obama/DNC Announce New Jobs Program

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 16:30 +0000

To Help Americans better understand President Obama’s Jobs Program VII – The Return of The Laser-Like Focus,  the Democrat National Committee has released this image for the DNC/Obama “Ladder to Success” Jobs program.

Originally Published Aug 11, 2011

Ladder to Success is a Department of Labor initiative to keep America moving.  The subtle implications of the hamster wheel as indicative of your future on the government dole were dismissed by the Administration as nothing more than regurgitated rhetoric–talking points handed out by Rush Limbaugh, the voice of the Republican Party.

The man pictured, Benjamin Dover, has exhausted his 199 weeks of unemployment and is currently one of the record numbers of citizens relying on government handouts like welfare and food stamps for their livelihood.

As part of the work for the future “Ladder to Success” program, participants can earn sanctioned “extras” like 30 minutes of additional heating or cooling in their Government funded Community Environment Luxury Living (CELL) accommodations in any given month after enough credits have been accrued, pursuant to the Department of Energy Standards and limitations for Household Environmental Management rules, and only if they have committed to six hours per day of kinetic perambulatory engagement with the Manster wheel,  at least five days per week, over the required contract period, without days missed in excess of the minimum participation agreement.  This particular wheel powers the automatic, low-volume flush toilets at Obama’s new National Labor Relations Board -Ministry of rules administration for left-handed albino homosexuals in workplace crisis.

The credits can also be exchanged for wood chips, or time to deploy a semi-porous retractable covering over the manster wheel in the event of inclement weather or other unanticipated rooftop conditions.

Installation and maintenance of the wheels, is said to have created or saved over one million union jobs, which party officials insist has absolutely no relevance to a marked increase in union campaign donations to Democrats and the Democrat party of close to 300 million annually.

Mrs. Obama has gotten involved as well, dovetailing her anti-obesity “Let’s Move” initiative with the new ‘Ladder to Success’ Program, providing fresh vegetables from the White House Garden TM (WHG) to participants during work hours.  Bits of carrot and celery, broccoli sprouts, and fresh lettuce leaves, as well as water are hand fed to program participants by public union employees from Homeland Securities new Division of Domestic Motion Enforcement–The Department of Sustenance for A Stronger America (DDMEDSSA).

The Agriculture department and DDMEDSSA estimate that The Garden will continue to yield produce for the millions of Americans the Administration hopes to eventually “place” in the Ladder to Success program, despite the drought conditions in (redacted) where most of the WHG vegetables are actually grown.  A spokesman for DDMEDSSA claims there will also be plenty of opportunity for Photo-Ops with the First Lady, Jillian Michaels from the Biggest loser, and Jared from the Subway commercials, handing fresh WHG produce to grateful participants as they climb the Obama Ladder to Success.

But the benefits to the nation don’t stop there. Health minister Kathleen Sibelius, and the CDC, in a joint report designed to encourage participation in Ladder To Success, noted that the program should improve health outcomes for obesity, saving the taxpayers 245 trillion dollars over ten years.  Not mentioned, however, was a DHHS memo released the same week requesting 245 billion per year in budget increases, for pain killers, knee braces, other orthopedic devices and even crutches.  Inside sources would not confirm if their was any relationship between the program and the new budget request.

Not pictured is this image, but critically important to the initiative, is a small flat panel television, affixed in a weatherproof enclosure, on which participants must watch MSNBC for the duration of each shift.  This has improved the networks otherwise abysmal ratings and while not everyone was thrilled by the programming limitation at first, most participants agree that watching this programming has made the work in the wheel seem less tedious by comparison.  Their is also general agreement that the networks ad campaign, Lean Forward, has served as a helpful reminder to maintain a proper forward body position during their shift, and is a suitable synonym to describe their new working relationship with the Federal Government, Bend over.

Officials claim that they should be able to put every American back to work with the Ladder to Success program, while reducing dependence on foreign energy, noting that simply letting the government tap their labor directly in exchange for services controlled entirely by the federal government was easier than Democrats continuing to pretend that anything anyone else earns is or has ever actually been theirs in the first place; or that they are capable of knowing how best to invest their labor output in the economy to achieve a proper socialist utopian superstate.

Authorization and administration details for the program are available in a 56,000 page report with links throughout to the 245 thousand page rule book used by relevant departments to administer the program. All documentation complies with the Reducing The Paperwork Reduction Act.

Note: The administration continues to defend program waivers given to Democrat women, illegal immigrants and non-conservative African Americans.  Spokesman with DoJ have indicated that they will use anti-bullying legislation and anti-discrimination suits against the misogynists, racists, and anyone fomenting misleading attacks by the right wing tea-party terrorists and those who want to take women’s health back to the 1700’s and redistribute wealth to the richest Americans.

Authors Note 9/18/2022: The original featured image was no longer available, so it was replaced for effect. Also, this seems more relevant now than ever. Europe is back to burning wood for heat and electricity. The Elites are pushing electric cars no one will be able to drive. So, while this was a joke in 2011, and it’s still  amusing (IMO), it’s beginning to look a lot like where we are today or where we’re heading.

So, vote the bums out.

Survival Sunday

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 15:00 +0000

I’m back.  I can’t say everything’s perfect, but thus far there’s respite on the home front.  I don’t think I’ll be in divorce court… at least not soon.  And given what I fear is coming, and how soon, by the time the home front explodes again, everything else will too – thus, a moot point.

One thing to remember on the shipping of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard – Gun Free Zone

This is a critical point.  These people really do believe themselves to be cast from finer clay that we deplorables.  Just consider, as one example, John F*cking POS Kerry saying it’s OK for him to be flying in a private jet because he’s “fighting climate change”.

Pointing out their hypocrisy is important; but it won’t affect them.  IMHO it needs to be done to alienate the fence sitters from them.  But it won’t affect them.

And another example of hypocrisy vis a vis women – note, I’ve been to Iran (as a kid) and would love to go back someday as a tourist.  Please Hashem, let the mullahs be overthrown soon.

Short of years and untold wealth, you cannot possibly be fully prepared for everything (I have to keep reminding myself of that).  But even some preparations, ideally at least 90 days of food, water / water purification, etc., puts you head and shoulders in front of the vast majority of the sheeple who will be in jaw-gaping astonishment when the SHTF.  The only relevant questions are:

  1. When does it start?
  2. How bad will it get?
  3. How long will it last?
  4. What will the aftermath look like?

Deep State / Coming Tyranny / WEF / Globalists (broad):

BIC Digs Deeper – Vox Popoli (voxday.net)

The entire course of human history is one of repetitive waves of would-be immortals desparing (sic) at the Law of Nature, rebelling against their Creator, and sacrificing massive quantities of innocent mortals to evil supernatural beings in inevitably futile attempts to transform themselves into gods and thereby escape death.

Everything evil that is not driven by hedonism, greed, and attention-seeking is driven by fear of death. And the more one satiated one is of the first three, the more completely one succumbs to the fourth. Tolkien knew this, he wrote about this, and that is why the evil would-be immortals of today want him to be forgotten.

Does this not, precisely, capture the Globalists now?  Obsessed with their own superior intellects, pleasure, greed – let alone echoing Sauron’s desire to dominate all life – and with their drive for trans-humanism and connecting their minds to the net, thus preserving their own intellects past the great veil?

Know your enemy.

Shortages (broadly):

Bad news for America’s farmers

The United States has been self-sufficient in food for many years.  It probably still will be, despite droughts and other challenges.  However, it won’t have anywhere near the same surplus of foods to export to other nations:  and in the light of famine and other food production challenges and bottlenecks elsewhere, that could be literally catastrophic for some nations.  It could lead to the rationing, or even non-availability, of some foods here in order to supply them to others who need them more (in the opinion of the bureaucrats responsible for such allocations).

If I worked on the railroads, I’d vote for a strike, too

That would not help things (though my understanding is there’s a tentative 11th hour agreement).  I just saw a video on Telegram about Canada and how multiple threads of the logistics tapestry are fraying.  Even if this is averted, so many logistics & supply threads are snapping IMHO it’s only a matter of time before the network starts collapsing from something or another.

Enemedia:

‘We cut them off’: Christina Pushaw shares her strategy for defeating ‘legacy media activists’ (floridapolitics.com)

[T]he almost exclusively liberal reporters staffing mainstream media newsrooms don’t care about fairness, accuracy or truth. All they want, she said, is to advance a liberal agenda while tamping down the voices of conservatives who dare to call them out.

“They see themselves not as journalists, not as reporters, not as investigators but as activists, as advocates, as political operatives, as gatekeepers, as arbiters of truth,” she said. “They believe they can defy reality if they stick to their talking points, censor, attack and discredit those with dissenting views.”

Once you understand that the enemedia has been fully subverted, so much makes sense.  Remember The Rules:

  1. It doesn’t matter what’s true, it’s what you can get people to believe.
  2. If you control the information flow, you control what people believe.
  3. Most people are emotional believers; convince them emotionally and facts & logic will not sway them.

US Stability (broad catch-all):

True dat

(Pic from the link)

I don’t think it’s months.  Without electricity there’s no running water, no refrigeration, no fuel pumping.  Give any large city a week – just a week – without power and they’ll turn on each other like rats in a flood.  And a quote from the above link (formatting and link in original; italics in the original are now underlined instead):

The veneer of civilization is very, very thin right now, particularly after all the stresses and strains of the past few years.  If this goes on, it’ll develop tears, gaps and holes so large that in large parts of our country, it’ll effectively cease to exist.  In parts of Europe like the worst of the banlieues of France, and in a number of large American inner-city ghettoes, that’s already happened.

And yet, when I point this out to people, there’s always some version of “but that’s not possible”… so give me Independence Hall 1976:

In 1776 brave men pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor for the sake of freedom.  Give me men and women of that character, that caliber – willing to take a stand, to fight whether by words or more.

Give me men – and women – like these.  People who believe in LIBERTY, in FREEDOM, and the Constitution.  The Declaration is the WHY, the Constitution is the HOW… and they, plus a solid Judeo-Christian foundation in society are enough.

At this point, I’d be surprised if the Russians don’t start hitting targets outside of Ukrainian territory before the end of the year. The neocons wanted this war and I expect they’re going to get it good and hard. It’s not as if Putin and his generals don’t know who has been pushing for this since before 2008.

Apocalypse Later?

The West still does not understand that this conflict is an existential war for Russia. The Crimea, the Donbass and elsewhere in Eastern Ukraine are integral parts of Russia. They will never be given up, just as the USA would not give up California, Virginia or Florida. And it will not allow anywhere in the Ukraine to be a military, nuclear or bioweapons threat to Russia, just because members of the violently-installed US-regime in Kiev have been paid to agree to that. Would the US allow it in Canada or Mexico? Russia is not going to give up just because of some NATO mercenaries and NATO arms. If the West tries to wipe Russia off the face of the Earth, Russia will do the same to the West. And it has supporters all over the world. Wait till China takes back Taiwan, as it is preparing to do.

IMHO if this escalates much more, China will move on Taiwan.  Without any doubt.

Sunday Spotlight: Hope and Prayer

Granite Grok - Sun, 2022-09-18 13:30 +0000

Each Sunday, I take a step away from daily politics and focus on something or someone who has done extraordinary things or who we may need to understand or know a little better. This week’s focus is not on a person but on a remedy—a powerful remedy for the mess we have seen created by the Left.

I usually devote my Sunday post to a person, someone who can give us a lift. This week has been very difficult for those who live in reality. No outside force could invade and take America down as quickly as the Democrats are doing. Watching how quickly this once great country is toppling like a house of cards proves that this dismantling is the plan of the Left, not a product of a series of bad decisions. I cannot tell you why or what they envision on the other side, but it is painful. I am glad that there are just a few of the Greatest Generation with us to witness the carnage. They loved this country and sacrificed far too much to see her fall from within. It is a very sad time.

We want to think we can survive this phase and that the power of our vote can rescue us in November. As much as I believe in our system, I fear it too is fractured, and help is not around the corner. I think we are at the point where we need the tools of a Higher Power. It is time for hope and prayer.

I am lucky to have many people in my circle who have a level of faith far greater than their level of fear and anguish at the state of the world. These people have an eerie state of calm as they realize that our time on earth is but preparation for a far greater life beyond. I am drawing strength from these folks. I am using them in a way, but that is okay because they feel that is their purpose, to spread the belief.

The Left is spinning out of control and is too powerful for a conventional counter. They have been working on this plan for generations, and each is but a spoke in the wheel. They are caught in the fury of their creation, and there is no getting off the ride for these progressives. That is an interesting word to describe people with hate and destruction as their core. Regressives is a more fitting moniker.

It is time for us to search deep inside for the power of our hope and prayer. We need something much more potent than any worldly power to get these people to see the danger ahead. They are creating a society devoid of rules and authority. They are destroying our past, so there is no comparison to the future they are aiming towards.

This topic may be more profound than most of my posts, but dark times require introspection. We can take the shots. We have to, for we are more intelligent and stronger. We have history on our side, reminding us of the glory we aspire to return. We will get there, with hope and prayer.
