Hey, NH! – Tennessee Just Passed a Law Allowing the Dispensing of Ivermectin Without a Prescription

Fri, 2022-04-29 16:30 +0000

NH House Bill 1022 would permit pharmacists to dispense the drug ivermectin by means of a standing order, making Ivermectin available to the public without a prescription. Last week, Tennessee passed a law similar to the one proposed in NH.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a bill on Apr. 22, 2022, allowing Ivermectin to be dispensed without a prescription. The new law states, “a pharmacist, in good faith, may provide Ivermectin to a patient who is eighteen (18) years of age or older pursuant to a valid collaborative pharmacy practice agreement containing a non-patient-specific prescriptive order and standardized procedures developed and executed by one (1) or more authorized prescribers.”

The New Hampshire bill has already passed the House, and a Senate Committee advanced it for a floor vote with a recommendation to pass the bill.

There are differences, but the result is the same. People who want Ivermectin can go and get it. And as with the Tennessee Bill, pharmacists are afforded protections except for obvious negligence.

“A pharmacist or prescriber involved in the provision of Ivermectin pursuant to this section is immune from civil liability in the absence of gross negligence or willful misconduct for actions authorized by this section.”

Most of the New Hampshire Bill outlines protections from liabilities for Doctors, Nurses, Nurse practitioners, and Pharmacists. HB1022 also allows a pharmacy to charge a fee for consultation but prohibits anyone in the food chain “from seeking personal financial benefit by participating in any incentive-based program or accepting any inducement that influences or encourages
therapeutic or product changes or the ordering of tests or services.”

You can listen to my interview with one of the prime sponsors of NH HB1022 here.

We’ve got several resources available to fight the disinformation coming from the left about Ivermectin.

  • Dr. Paul Merik’s testimony before the NH House.
  • “Ivermectin Story Here”
  • “Ivermectin The Hidden Story, Here!”
  • Peer-Reviewed: Ivermectin Resulted in a 67% Reduction in COVID Hospitalization and a 70% Reduction in COVID Mortality

The NH Bill is (I believe) due for a vote in the Republican majority State Senate next week.

4 Tips for Choosing a College Laptop

Fri, 2022-04-29 15:28 +0000

Being a student is hard.

Studies are extensive, and money is tight. Things can get even worse if your laptop or computer dies without cause.

Assuming you have all of your work off it, you may need to start promptly looking for another laptop. This is easier said than done. Many students cannot afford to buy brand-new laptops, meaning it can be very limiting and hard to find what you need to succeed.

Here are some of the things you need to consider when buying a laptop for your studies.

First hand or refurbished?

Most students don’t have the means to go out and buy a brand-new laptop. So, you may be limited in what you have immediate access to.

For many, this will mean looking for a second-hand or refurbished option. If you do opt for a second-hand laptop, ask as many questions as you can about the machine. Ask to test it out or see a video demo of it in action. If you decide first hand is better, there are many affordable choices, such as Lenovo college laptops. Just make sure the machine you buy has what you need to perform your studies.

Studies

This leads on to this point.

If you are studying computer science, you are going to need something that is a bit more specialized, especially when compared to a standard laptop.

So, when buying a laptop, always ensure that it can do what you need it to. Otherwise, you may end up out of pocket for a machine that is, in essence, useless. Unsure where to begin when choosing a specialized machine? Ask your professors for advice. They will know what programs you need in order to complete the course. Alternatively, why not ask your classmates about the machines that they are using?

Cost

Money is always going to be a major factor when purchasing computers.

While it can be tempting to spend all of your student loans on a laptop, don’t!

Work out how much you can realistically spend on a machine without having to cut out meals etc.

This will ensure that your health and wellbeing are not affected due to this purchase. Buying second-hand can always be useful when you are looking to save money. But there are also many first-hand options that may be affordable too. As always, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is! So, keep your wits about you when handing over money for a laptop.

Battery life

It is one of the failings of many second-hand or refurbished machines. The battery life simply doesn’t last as long as it should. It is also one of the main reasons why machines are sold in the first place! You do not want to be tethered to the wall because your laptop cannot hold a charge. Always ask for a demo when purchasing a second-hand device, or ask for a video if it is being sent to you from a seller on sites like eBay.

Mayorkas, This is control, Define Chaos

Fri, 2022-04-29 15:00 +0000

When did leaders become so weak? When did it become okay to pass the buck rather than owning the moment and solving a problem? When did it become acceptable to lie when in front of Congress?

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas is glad that all of these acts are considered getting the job done.

I have written for a year and a half about the hapless staff that Joe Biden put together, but Mayorkas may be the cream of the crop. It is difficult to believe that these members of the Biden administration can collectively be so incompetent. The only other option is they are not incompetent but were assembled to dismantle this country. If the latter is the case, Mayorkas is the runaway MVP.

Mayorkas is responsible for destroying the Sovereignty of our country by eliminating the Southern Border. He has effectively made us a borderless geographical body of land open to anyone worldwide. All these “migrants,” as Mayorkas calls them, need to do is cross the Rio Grande, hop on a bus or plane, and be tNewaken to your destination of choice.

We have no idea where these people are from or their history or medical condition. That is not important to our current administration. They are transported under cover of night with the help of NGOs like the Catholic Church. The receiving city is rarely informed of the incoming new residents but is responsible for their well being. All 48 contiguous states are now border states.

Mayorkas is before Congress this week to testify on the conditions of the Border. Remember that neither Biden nor Harris have ever been to the Mexican Border. Mayorkas has visited multiple times. On his last visit, he faced angry comments from Border Guards, frustrated with his handling of the crisis. Mayorkas sees no crisis. In his mind, this unrelenting flow of migrants is under control. If that is the case, Mr. Secretary, please define chaos.

Mayorkas contends that this administration and his department inherited a broken system and that only Congress can solve it. If that is the case, what is his role, and why do we need a Department of Homeland Security? He does fit in perfectly with this finger-pointing team. Nothing is their fault, and it is always somebody else’s when they fail to correct it.

Mayorkas was grilled about Title 42. He favors the end of the program but again puts all responsibility on the CDC. The claim is that 42 was a health-related measure and did nothing to control the flow of illegal immigrants. Why does the administration project that the flow will double when 42 is stopped if that is the case?

This administration is a study in contradictions. They say things and then walk them back. They lie and then have the media support the lie. They accept no responsibility but pat themselves on the back when things go well, which is rare. To them, well is two million undocumented illegal aliens, enough fentanyl to kill us all, an untold number of terrorists and gang members, and don’t forget the illegal weapons. Maybe this is something Secretary Mayorkas will take credit for and then resign.

Assisted Suicide is Now Available in Vermont after a Zoom Call with Dr. Death

Fri, 2022-04-29 13:30 +0000

If you qualify as terminally ill (a definition that can change in a heartbeat – life is a terminal condition), Vermont has made it easier to obtain physician-assisted suicide drugs!

Listen on the Podcast Page

You can also listen on Spreaker, iHeart Radio, Spotify, or Google Podcasts.

S.74  “proposes to eliminate a requirement in Vermont’s patient choice at end of life laws that both oral requests required of the patient with a terminal condition for medication to be self-administered to hasten the patient’s death must have been made in the physical presence of the physician to whom the patient made the request.”

And so it has – passed by the legislature and signed by Gov. Scott (r), you can now use Zoom or any equivalent form of telemedicine to request drugs to end your life without ever meeting with the doctor prescribing death.

a) A physician shall not be subject to any civil or criminal liability or professional disciplinary action if the physician prescribes to a patient with a terminal condition medication to be self-administered for the purpose of hastening the patient’s death and the physician affirms by documenting in the patient’s medical record that all of the following occurred:

(1) The patient made an oral request to the physician in the physician’s physical presence or by telemedicine, …

There is a 15-day waiting period before the drugs get shipped, so you could, in theory, get a handgun sooner if you’re itching to be on your way (Vermont has not yet passed a proposed 30-day waiting period for handguns hiding inside S30 “An act relating to prohibiting possession of firearms within hospital buildings.”)

You are, of course, free to end your life by any other means, and I only bring up the handgun thing because people will say it’s an awful thing to write. Last I checked, chemically executing people in prison is a horrible thing, but in Vermont, you can Zoom Dr. Death and in about two weeks get the “drugs” necessary to “ease your passing.”

There are no protests or requests to the governor for a stay or call from a judge.

And it’s the same people on both sides of that issue. But if death by lethal injection is so bad, how about a zoom call from death row with a doctor, and boom, Get er Done!

Because, silly, Democrats like criminals more than you. And as far as they are concerned, felons are less of a burden than the terminally ill (especially after you let them out of jail). They are also useful. Criminals commit crimes, and you can shoot them in public when they wear out their usefulness. But before that, they destabilize the ordered, and predictable lives of a Middle-Class Progressives despise.

Comfort, when it comes to dying, is acceptable, but living? There’s no room in utopia for you to be comfortable.

That sort of Government can’t afford it. And, if they happen to have assisted suicide as an option, you might – one day – be ‘diagnosed’ with a terminal illness (by the same doctor who tried to kill you with a ventilator and Remdesivir) and encouraged to end their your suffering.

Heck, why wait? You can go to Oregon right now and die sooner. They passed suicide tourism just this year.

And not long from now, you’ll be able to Zoom or Skype or Facetime Oregon and get the death meds without traveling.

The assisted suicide lobby wants to approve out-of-state-assisted suicide requests via telehealth and to send the lethal drugs by mail to the out-of-state requestor.

Amazon Prime members get them in just two days!

If you think for one moment this isn’t going to happen and then become federal law, either by an act of congress or a Roe v. Wade like SCOTUS decision, you’ve not been paying enough attention.

They want it, and how hard has that been looking back for them to get what they want? Not very. There are a few bumps in the road here and there, a few years, delays, but it happens in the end.

I mean, technically, we already have this with the open border and rampant opioid overdose deaths. It’s government security policy assisted suicide. A few more words and only technically illegal – you have to get caught.

But imagine a government program run by eugenicists forever seeking ways to cull the masses. It will not only be poorly regulated but become an approved method of political assassination.

Can you see the smiles on the faces of the Clinton Crime Family and the FBI (if and where you can separate them)? No more accidents or messy “suicides.” From now on, anyone who knows anything and is a risk will become ill, get telemedicine, and kill themselves with dignity, and at this point, what difference does it make.

You know I’m right, but who’s prepared to step up and stop it before it gets that far? Better yet, who can?

I Have Two Simple Questions for Our Congressional “Leaders”

Fri, 2022-04-29 12:00 +0000

I have two simple questions for our Congressional “Leaders.” Do you believe the lies that Secretary Mayorkas spewed today alleging that our southern border is secure?

And, do you support the President’s proposal to have US taxpayers fund an unlimited piggy bank for Ukraine?

Please keep in mind these FACTS:

Under this administration, millions of unvetted illegals, drugs, criminals, terrorists, trafficked adults, and children have broken into our country, with impunity.

We want to thank Michael Petruzziello for this Op-Ed.
Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

Under this administration, our border is no longer secure, and our sovereignty as a country is at risk.

Our GDP is declining, while congress continues to spend money we don’t have.

You refuse to complete the paid-for US border wall, but you are allocating unlimited funds to a foreign country, so they can defend their border and maintain their sovereignty.

You were not elected to open our borders to the world.

You were not elected to serve and protect the population of the world while bankrupting our country.

You were elected to serve and protect the American people, period.

Please, DO YOUR JOB!

Sincerely,

Michael Petruzziello
Major, USMC (Ret)

Free Speech, Climate, and Twitter’s Climate

Fri, 2022-04-29 10:30 +0000

One of the many problems the Left has with the Elon Musk buyout of Twitter is its ability to control messaging on the Climate. Warming equals cooling, more snow, no snow, rain-drought, rising seas no one sees. It’s a lot of hard work.

The ideological filters pre-Musk allowed them to determine who was having influence and how best to limit that influence using Algore-rhythms, flags, tags, censorship, or even ex-communication.

If America had a social credit system Twitter would have been at the forefront of allocating smiley or frowny faces based on content, especially on the approved narratives for Climate Marxism. With that in danger, Twitter will likely become a national security threat.

Until then, last week was not a great week for the Climate Marxists (or Twitter) and Tony Heller from Real Climate Science has a roundup.

(source link, here).

Will GlaxoSmithKline Continue to Advertise on the Reidout Given Its Racist Content?

Fri, 2022-04-29 03:00 +0000

I am disappointed that GlaxoSmithKline is spending customer money to buy advertising on The ReidOut with Joy Reid on MSNBC.

The ReidOut host, sit in hosts and some contributors practice anti-white labeling that is offensive, racist, and likely inspires hate among some viewers of this show.

I am certain that your company would not support with its advertising dollars a white talk show host or white contributors making such false and offensive statements about black people.

Will GlaxoSmithKline continue to advertise on The ReidOut given its racist content?

Tennessee Takes the Next Step To Protect Girls Sports

Fri, 2022-04-29 01:30 +0000

Tennessee passed a law in March that requires students to participate in school sports based on sex, not gender identity. SB1861 creates a disincentive for schools to ignore that requirement.

SB 1861, which Gov. Lee signed Friday, mandates that the Tennessee education commissioner withhold “a portion of the state education finance funds” from school districts that do not determine a student athlete’s sex. The law doesn’t state the exact amount of funding that should be withheld from noncompliant districts.

Laws are funny things, and not just in Tennessee. For example, in New Hampshire, ignoring, subverting, or simply dragging out the right-to-know process is something municipalities love to do. Nashua, for example, is a leader in that sort of nonsense.

If it is a public record, and they don’t want you to have it despite the law, they are prepared to make you take them to court to get it. It deters many who can’t afford the legal costs and cannot represent themselves. The city gets to keep public documents secret and encourages them to keep hiding things.

In other words, absent a penalty or some punishment, politicians or bureaucrats can treat the law as if it does not exist.

Tennessee has read the stitches and is trying to get ahead of the fastball.

At least 14 other states have enacted laws in recent years to restrict male participation in female athletics, as gender-confused men increasingly dominate women’s sports at the high school, college, and professional levels.

It’s almost as if something triggered them all to save women’s sports. Now we need these other states to amp up their enforcement and disincentives and be joined by more states following their lead.

Is your state considering legislation to protect girls and women? Let us know in the comments.
