The Ultimate Opt Out Form-Letter for Parents with Children in Public School

Tue, 2023-07-11 10:30 +0000

Recently I came upon an Opt Out Form Letter for parents to take to their school administrators and teachers to notify them of what they will be opting their child out of when they attend their local public school. It’s a good letter, but I wanted to tweak it a bit for New Hampshire Parents.

Parents are free to tweak these letters to make them suitable for their children, so this will give you a starting point.  Print this off, and present it to your child’s teachers and Principal. I’d also make sure the Superintendent gets a copy along with every member of the school board. This way if the instructions are not followed, everyone was made aware of your intentions.

Parents may want to opt out of all mental health/counseling services due to the unethical behavior of school counselors, social workers, and school psychologists working in New Hampshire. (See https://granitegrok.com/blog/2023/07/this-extra-challenge-to-public-schools-could-result-in-a-decline-in-academic-outcomes)

Dear Principal (Name),

I hope this letter finds you well and you are enjoying the Summer. There have been concerns recently in the community about political advocacy in the schools. As a concerned parent, I am providing this letter for my (son/daughter), (Name), while (he/she) is enrolled in the (BOE district). I want to make sure that you know how much I support our community and want to help my (son/ daughter) achieve a high level of academic excellence. I also want to open a clear line of communication about my expectations related to controversial topics and especially politics, in the classroom.

Please find my enclosed parental Opt-Out forms for my child, (Child’s Name), for the school year beginning 2023-2024. As (his/her) parent, it is imperative that these be added to (his/her) school file and a copy be given to each of (his/her) teachers and any media center professional.

Also, please advise when the list of approved instructional materials will be available and where I can locate them. Please confirm your receipt of this directive via email. We look forward to a great school year.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

(Print Name Sign Above)

How Many DCYF Lawyers Does It Take …

Tue, 2023-07-11 01:30 +0000

That was my “curious nature” concerning the velocity of how my last email to DCYF CPSW Amy Fortin got transported from her and ended way up on the heights of the DCYF organizational chart ending up at DHHS’ (which “owns” DCYF) Deputy Chief Legal Counsel John B. Martin.

So I “asked.”

This request is for certain DYCF emails messages with the time frame starting May 25, 2023, to June 17, 2023, inclusive based on the email from Skip@GraniteGrok.com to Amy.Fortin@dhhs.nh.gov concerning my previous Right To Know demand, which she “blew off” and the situation had to be rectified by DHHS Deputy Chief Legal Counsel John B. Martin.

And why did this lowly blogger gain attention at such heights? However, even after explicitly stating that I didn’t want any privileged client/attorney communications (expressly forbidden by RSA 91-A; a carveout, IMHO), my Right To Know was denied by Mr. Martin (emphasis mine, reformatted):

Subject RSA 91-A Right to Know Request

Good afternoon Mr. Murphy.  I am responding to your Right to Know request pursuant to which you requested any internal e-mails relative to your initial Right to know request seeking a DCYF protocol.  At this point I have reviewed all of the e-mails beginning with your initial request for the protocol leading up to my e-mail to you on June 9, 2023, when I provided you with two DCYF protocols.

Every internal E-Mail was either sent to a State attorney or by a State attorney for the purposes of legal consultation.  As a consequence, these e-mails fall under the attorney/client privilege and are exempt from disclosure under RSA 91-A:5,IV.  For this reason, there are no public records that are responsive to your request.  That being said, I hope you have a good weekend and a nice 4 th of July.

John B. Martin, Deputy Chief Legal Counsel

Which is what I thought would be tried to be claimed and why I explicitly ruled it out and restarted it as well:

So far it has been!  Hope yours has been as enjoyable as mine has been thus far!

Relative to the attorney/client privilege, I wasn’t asking WHAT was said, only who was involved. Redacting any and all email bodies of such Responsive Records, would be fine – that erases any client/privilege communications that are subject to RSA 91-A:5, XII.

Providing names/email addresses and those connections, however, is not explicitly enumerated in that clause of the statute. The resulting digraph, which is of interest to me and the reason for the RTK,  would be void of ANY such prohibited privileged legal advice. Therefore, those records should be released and available for my inspection.

And a wee message along with my reasoning as to why he was wrong:

And yes, good wishes are returned back to you as we celebrate what our Founding Fathers, in their political genius, bequeathed to us – a governance model that first and foremost that was the first one that put citizens first an over a Government that should be totally and wholly responsive to them…

…And not the other way around. It is unfortunate that their aspirations have not yet been met in many ways.

So, it ended up with a bit of a reminder for after the Independence Day Holiday, with a bit of humor (but only a wee bit):

Good afternoon, sir!

Am hoping that you had a great Fourth of July spent with family and friends!

I am circling back (the favorite phrase, seemingly, of all Presidential Press Secretaries) on my Right To Know. When might an ETA be available for those Responsive Records?

-Skip

And lo and behold, and interesting, not what I suspected.  Historically with my RTKs with School District lawyers trying to deny my RTKs, I expected more :

Good afternoon Mr. Murphy.  I apologize for the delay in responding to this.  Without waiving the attorney-client or attorney work product privilege, in addition to me, the following attorneys were involved in this matter:

Amanda Kniveton (Amanda.L.Kniveton@dhhs.nh.gov)

Laura Brevitz (Laura.Brevitz@dhhs.nh.gov)

Frank Nachman (Frank.D.Nachman@dhhs.nh.gov)

Anne Edwards (Anne.M.Edwards@doj.nh.gov)

Deanna Baker (Deanna.Baker@dhhs.nh.gov)

Have a good evening.

John B. Martin, Deputy Chief Legal Counsel

I was rather surprised – little ole’ me seems to have attracted a much higher level of attention than what I had bargained for (I do believe that “hoped for” is exactly the wrong phrase); perhaps what DCYF has brought down upon itself in the care of its wards lately may have signaled that the Attorney General’s office (Anna Edwards) had to get involved. Yet, this wasn’t about a given child or set of children – just who was talking about my pushback.

So being surprised that SIX lawyers were listed (again, I really did find it hilarious given all the much bigger fish to fry than me, an ordinary schlub from Central New Hampsha), I had thoughts but only asked about three:

Good evening Mr. Martin!

No problem with “delay” – the week is generally a vacation week so I figured you’d be just getting back in the swing of things on Monday / Tuesday and get back to me mid-week, so this is a plus. Plus, I’m quite sure that there may well be far more important issues on your desk than Right To Knows from a lowly blogger.

I am surprised, however – seriously, it took six lawyers just to advise on a single Right To Know?  Thoughts racing around are:

  • Was my RTK all that outrageously bad – or good?
  • Am *I* that bad of a Requester that six lawyers were needed to make a decision?
  • I still can’t figure out how I, just an ordinary schlub from Central New Hampsha, could warrant that amount of legal attention.

Sidenote: Someday, if we meet in person, I’ll tell you the joke about how many software engineers it takes to change a light bulb…

All that aside, appreciate the information and have a good weekend as this is now put to bed.

Nothing To See Here … Just Janet Yellen Bowing And Scraping To The CCP

Tue, 2023-07-11 00:00 +0000

We need fwee trade with China. Let me explain why. When Blackrock, Chase, etc. invest in China that allows China to prosper economically … which in turn allows them to build up their military … which in turn gives the UniParty a rationale to print even more money to hand out to the military-industrial complex in order to keep pace with China.

Get it? Fwee trade with China makes everyone a winner!  Everyone except the everyday Americans who are paying for the UniParty’s money-printing party in the form of runaway inflation. But there’s no time to dwell on that because … PUTIN IS HITLER and we have to stop him before he takes over the world!

Here’s Janet Yellen demeaning herself and humiliating America by bowing and scraping to the Biden-Regime’s CCP bankers:

Religion is Fire

Mon, 2023-07-10 22:30 +0000

Fire is essential to life after air, water, and food. Fire, broadly defined, is energy. And energy runs the world. It fuels the body, operates the mind, heats homes, and runs endless machines and instruments.

When energy is put to good use, it is a boon to humanity. And when it is misused or abused, it is the bane of society. Therefore, credit or blame rests with the user of energy.

Religion is a particular case of energy in the same way that steam is a derivation of fire. Steam engines move mass in physical space. Religion, and emotional energy, propels people’s minds into the metaphysical realm.

Civilized societies have rules and regulations, albeit flawed and imperfect, regulating energy use. The fire of religion must also be contained in such a manner to do whatever good it can and prevent it from becoming a consuming wildfire.

Some have no use for religion. These people have perhaps seen so much burning and scorching by religion that they have abandoned it or have even taken active positions fighting it.

Some don’t seem to be able to make do without a religion, preferably a “divine” faith. These people value the warmth the sacred fire gives them, the assurance that the cold earth is not their end, and the promise of an eternal life of bliss after death. It is only fair that the “fire” that keeps the religionist warm is not set ablaze at the home of the non-religious.

Some questions for religionists:

* A belief qualifies as a “divine” religion because someone claims it is.

* A belief becomes religion because millions believe in it?

* Should religion and state interlace? Which religion? What is the religion of the majority in any given country?

* Should being a religionist confer the person preferential status over the non-religious?

* Should religionists have complete freedom to practice their beliefs, even when they infringe on the rights of others?

* Should religionists have the right to vilify as heathen the people of other persuasions and those of no religious belief?

* Should religionists have the right to force their beliefs on others?

* Should religionists actively engage in the subjugation or elimination of the non-religious?

In civilized societies, it is granted that what is suitable for one person must also be good for the next. This is egalitarianism. Egalitarianism levels the playing field, where every human being must abide by the same rules of fair play. No one has a claim to special privileges for himself and his group.

Concerning religion, it matters not that someone claims that he is the emissary of the Creator; that he is bringing binding teachings from the Lord. There is no objective way of ascertaining the truth or falsehood of the claim. The claimant may be a charlatan, mentally disturbed, or indeed an emissary of the divine. What matters is that the claimant and his claim serve the cause of the good for all of humanity and shun entirely, causing contention and strife among people.

When a religious founder begins claiming special privileges for himself and his followers, he launches a discriminating totalitarianism. This is indeed the case with Islam. Even a cursory glance at Islam’s past and its present establish its discriminating totalitarianism nature unequivocally.

Islam is out of control fire, and the jihadists are its arsonists. The generality of Muslims does their part by spreading throughout the world and setting up the conditions that would welcome the arsonists, feed and shelter them, and support them in igniting the Islamic fire.

This is precisely what is happening all over Europe, where the naïve natives have deluded themselves into the fraud of multiculturalism. A generous social entitlement system in Europe, well-paying job opportunities, and higher living standards magnify the horde of Muslims fleeing Islamic failed states. Ironically, these Muslim expatriates quickly forget why they had to leave their miserable plights in their homelands and the leading cause of their misery. The culprit is the pathological nihilistic belief of never-mind-this-world and doing Allah’s bidding to gain admission to his unimaginably magnificent pleasure paradise of the afterlife.

Islam believes in the rule of Islam, Caliphate to the Sunnis, and Imamate to the Shias. Hence, to Muslims, all other forms of government represent the handiwork of Satan and the infidels. Therefore, one and all non-Islamic government systems must be purified by the Islamic fire.

But marrying religion with the government is stoking the fire with explosives. In free democracies, governments are accountable to the people and serve at the people’s pleasure. In Islamic theocracy, governments are responsible only to Allah, and the people must do it at the government’s pleasure. And one can see the result of Islamic total or partial rule in eighteen or so countries that rank among the highest nations of the world on every index of misery.

The Islamic fire fueled by immense oil income is raging in some areas of the world, smoldering in others, and ready to ignite in other parts of the world. It is imperative for the free people of the world to abandon all illusions about Islam and put out its fire once and for all. Multiculturalism, live and let live, is a delusion of kind-hearted naïve people. Islam, as fractured as it is, is a non-compromising mono-culture: a cruel culture of primitive people handed down to Muhammad some 1400 years ago.

Secularists and most non-Muslim religious people respect the legitimate rights of the religionists, whereas Muslims recognize little or no rights for others. You can readily establish the validity of this assertion by looking at some eighteen or so Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and so on.

Warning to free men and women: Remain a spectator at your peril. You must take a stand, do your part in falsifying the fraud of Islam, and do all you can to prevent the Islamic fire from devouring our civilized democratic secular system.

You Know What Doesn’t Fail to Produce Energy During a Heat Wave? Oil, Gas, Coal, Nuclear, Hydro, …

Mon, 2023-07-10 21:00 +0000

If nine-tenths of whatever it “is just showing up,” this hackneyed turn of phrase has a problem when it comes to so-called green energy alternatives. They are not green, and when you need them most (extreme heat or cold), they are most likely to fail.

Cold weather kills wind and solar in equal measure – adding to the problem of limited sunlight half the year and weak sunlight at that. Heat is also a problem, especially if you rely on wind turbines.

The article, “Low wind could hamper wind turbine production in Texas,” explains that the coming hot summer days in Texas will likely be a problem for electricity generation, as “energy experts say the state’s wind turbines may not produce as much power because of low wind forecasts. “

Heat domes and heat waves in general are known for causing a drop in wind speeds, and the same thing happened last year in Texas under similar weather conditions, during which wind turbines dropped to operating at just 8 percent of capacity.

The expert CBS interviewed for the post, Dr. Todd Griffith of the Wind Energy Center at UT Dallas admitted that when the wind doesn’t blow, “we need to compensate for that with these other sources…namely, natural gas and coal sources and nuclear.”

Shouldn’t the goal be abundant, affordable energy first? Modern living, prosperity, opportunity, quality of life, and all that for our posterity business is impossible without it. Wind and solar cost a lot in carbon and cash to make and mount but consistently fail to produce.

I recently had a friend ask about putting solar on her roof. I explained how it was not exactly green, but if she was willing to pay for it, she should do the math and ask questions.

  • Is it yours, or are you leasing your roof and getting a piece of the power generated (in which case, there may be a 20-30 year lien on your property)? You might not be able to sell without paying off the lien.
  • How much would it save you a year in electricity (bottom number) divided by the upfront cost to determine the years needed to recover the investment, if ever?
  • Does the solar company include recycling at the end of life, and are they honest about when that is and how much of that cost is built into your purchase price? Most don’t, but they should if they insist this is green. Dead solar ends up in landfills, leaching toxins into soil and groundwater.
  • What is the real impact of an aging solar installation on resale value?

It may not be a good investment, but I’m not here to stop you if you want to waste your money. I am, however, inclined to remind everyone of the issues and the desperate need for reliable energy solutions that make sense.

Fact: We can never end our dependence on fossil fuels. You can’t make steel without coal. Oil and natural gas will be with us for a while, with NG being a very effective energy source (heat and electricity) with low emissions (if you care about that). Much of the transportation and construction business will require motor fuels to operate. Synthetics are great, but oil has many uses, including as a component of thousands of materials (synthetics, plastics, etc.) whose replacements have much higher carbon footprints.

Nuclear needs to be made more affordable as it literally gives the greens what they claim to want the most. Energy without emissions. Without a blend of these solutions, there is no future, net zero or otherwise.

Lowering pollution is a worthwhile endeavor. Pretending CO2 is pollution is not just a lie. It is a dangerous one, and the path we are on is treacherous. A plan we’ve often suggested seems deliberate.

The goal is not to reduce emissions. It is to reduce the population, which is why the Climate Cult is so unwilling to discuss other options.

To quote a phrase that is itself getting a bit hackneyed, you are the carbon they want to reduce.

America Is Sick, and We Need a Second Opinion.

Mon, 2023-07-10 19:30 +0000

The 70-year-old man was several years into testosterone deprivation therapy {Lupron Acetate injections} for advanced Prostate cancer; and although he was in remission, there was a price to extend his life. The bothersome hot flashes came almost daily, and his bones had started to thin.

We want to thank Jim Betti for this Contribution – Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.
You can review our ‘Op-Ed Guidelines‘ on the FAQ Page.

His testicles had shrunken, and his sexual desire was gone. He knew there was an increased risk of cardiac problems and even blood clots. His muscle mass had atrophied, his energy was down, and he was being treated for depression. And there were even signs of the dreaded cognitive dysfunction.

All sex hormones (testosterone/estrogen) are regulated by a small gland at the base of the brain (pituitary gland). Depending upon an individual’s genetic chromosomal identification as a male (XY) or female (XX), the pituitary gland acts like a control box that sends signals to either the ovaries or testicles to produce sex hormones. Lupron Acetate turns off the control box, and the signals are no longer sent. In an adult male, this results in no testicular testosterone production. Without testosterone, Prostate cancer cells tend to self-destruct, and the disease can go into remission.

When puberty begins, the previously dormant Pituitary gland {control box} reacts to the chromosomal makeup {XX female, XY male} of the child and sends out signals to either the ovaries to produce estrogen or the testicles to produce testosterone. Under the influence of these hormones, the child will mature into their genetically determined sex.

The drug used to block puberty is Lupron Acetate.
Gender Dysphoria is defined as a person of one biological sex wanting to identify as the opposite biologic sex. Historically it is a rare psychological condition that has no demonstrable genetic component.

Prior to the 2000s, prepuberal children with Gender Dysphoria were treated with psychotherapy and family support. Approximately 80 to 95% of children {with gender dysphoria} responded, and after going through puberty, accepted their biological sex.

And yet, in the early 2000s, a study emerged suggesting Gender Dysphoria patients had a higher rate of attempted suicide and that something must be done. In England, France, Finland, and Sweden, aggressive therapy was instituted, including puberty blockers, chemical sex hormone transition, and gender reassigning surgery.

Lupron Acetate was given to halt puberty, and after several years, sex hormones opposite to the patient’s genetic sex {Testosterone for girls, Estrogen for males} were instituted to begin the child’s sex transition. Lupron often was continued {especially in biological females}. Otherwise, the control box {pituitary gland} would send out signals to the ovaries/ testicles {gonads} to start producing their genetically programmed hormones. Later in life, the gonads are surgically removed, and the Lupron is no longer required. The long-term effect on the brain and pituitary have not been studied.

Initial studies that supported this treatment were based on a small number of mostly biological male gender dysphoric patients. But as more publicity was placed on the condition, suddenly, there was a large increase in overall patients and in particular genetic females, with multiple other significant psychological problems.  The newly designated Gender Dysphoric patients do not match the traits of historical patients and logic dictated something else, such as social media {think TicToc/Facebook} influencers, encouragement {Grooming} from peer groups, or even teachers is responsible for this new upswing.

England, France Sweden, and Finland have since backed off from aggressive intervention for the psychological condition of Gender Dysphoria.

Essential questions need to be addressed:
Why wouldn’t a healthcare provider utilize the time-tested medical treatment algorithm of starting with the least invasive treatment, initially treating the psychological condition of gender dysphoria with counseling and family support {Think Europe}? Knowing the literature shows around a 90% success rate for traditional difficult cases and that the vast majority of new gender dysphoric patients have derived {most likely} from societal influence {the cure rate should be higher}.

Why would a healthcare provider use Lupron Acetate, a drug that is only FDA-approved for organic disease {think the prostate cancer patient, endometriosis, and in children, the rare condition of precocious puberty} as an initial approach to the psychological problem of gender dysphoria? A drug that, in children, has never been studied for long-term effects but in adults is known to cause bone thinning and increases the incidence of cardiac issues, depression, mood disorders, and cognitive dysfunction {bone thinning, mood changes, and pseudo brain tumors have already been reported in children}. This does not consider the possible sequala of long-term pituitary/brain issues, especially if the child’s native gonads {ovaries or testicles} are removed. Not to mention the dreaded reality faced by any patient who, after gender-altering surgery, decides they made a mistake. For these unfortunates the changes are permanent and there is no going back.

Political forces are at work in America opposing the evidence-based approach now being used across the pond.
These political forces find their genesis in the “woke” progressive Democrat party. They are widespread and have led those in leadership positions to abandon their job’s nonpartisan mandates and to abuse their power by imposing their progressive political views on employees, shareholders, as well as military/ government workers, and patients.

All the while, Larry Fink’s Blackrock is cheating Americans of optimal retirement returns by forcing companies to bow to his progressive ESG demands. Fink holds many companies’ purse strings, and he plays those strings like a skilled violinist.

Fearful” woke” corporate CEOs happily oblige, directing their companies to discriminate against white males and hire based on gender and minority status. The FBI/DOJ elites fabricated the Russian hoax {think Durham report} and buried the Hunter Biden laptop. America’s armed service has been so weakened by woke DEI practices they are not even able to meet recruiting quotas. Healthcare professionals during the Covid crisis greenlighted massive BLM rallies and gave preferential treatment to patients based on skin color.

It is not a big jump to pediatric healthcare providers having a “woke” progressive bias and projecting it {perhaps unconsciously} onto impressionable children and desperate parents. Like-minded “woke” colleagues give encouragement, while others fear if they speak in opposition, they will be canceled. All the while President Biden’s administration {think trans person Rachael Lavine} and the “woke” media continually give non-evidence-based political cover.

Despite the virtue signaling of our government, America is sick and desperately needs to deal with “woke” progressive individuals in leadership who abuse their power.

Because if progressives have no problem demanding a dangerous drug like Lupron Acetate be given to prepubertal children, one can only imagine what they would be willing to force on you and your family.

But all is not lost. America is heeding a second opinion.
When evidence-based non-biased medical professionals reviewed Dr. Fauci’s Covid-19 recommendations, he was exposed as incompetent, and his reputation is now in tatters. As it was with Fauci’s comeuppance, it will not be easy. Progressives and their “woke” media allies will continue their deceptive narrative, but it is only a matter of time before the American medical community will digest what is happening to our dysmorphic children and put a stop to what very well may be one of our nation’s worst ever healthcare black eyes.

An America-healing second-opinion remedy requires Americans to exercise the power of the vote and elect a Republican President, House, and Senate. Together this new government will have the power to drain the putrid D.C. swamp, revamp the corrupt FBI/DOJ, purge the military of its “woke” contamination, and restore America’s greatness.

Because if the America-healing second opinion remedy is not heeded, a dark country will emerge, one that turns its back on our founding principles and mirrors what’s left of the once great city of San Francisco.

The only medicine needed to heed the second opinion, and cure the country, is your vote!!
2024 is coming!!!

Biden To Form Global Coalition Against Fentanyl

Secretary of State Antony Blinken will host a meeting Friday with representatives from 84 countries to discuss efforts to disrupt the global supply chains of illicit Fentanyl. This meeting is useless without the inclusion of an 85th country, China.

There is no indication China intends to participate despite the country being the source of precursor chemicals used by the cartels in Mexico to make the synthetic drug.

Blinken visited China in June and had the opportunity to broach the subject of illegal Fentanyl with leaders of China but could not muster the courage to address the topic. Apparently, 100,000 dead Americans in the 18-45-year-old range is not important enough to discuss with the country we know is the primary source for the killer drug.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) labeled China as “the primary source of fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked through international mail and express consignment operations environment, as well as the main source for all fentanyl-related substances trafficked into the United States,” in a 2020 intelligence report.

How could this not have already been a priority of this administration? Biden has been in office for thirty months, and we probably have lost 250,000 young people to Fentanyl poisoning in that time, but now that his reelection bid is underway, he has to project the image of a problem solver. But just like his claim that gas prices and inflation are falling, he caused the problems with lousy policies. His lack of concern for Border security and being in the pocket of China has prevented him from addressing Fentanyl’s attack on America.

This epidemic will not be solved with a summit chaired by Antony “Feckless” Blinken, and the absence of China from the talks is proof. This issue needs law enforcement or the military to fight back the flow of drugs or destroy the Cartel labs where the product is manufactured. This flow of drugs should be treated the same as a terrorist attack. If the Taliban entered the country and killed 100,000, I trust we would retaliate. The same can be said for the Cartels.

The illegal drug trade is evolving, and Fentanyl is being replaced with carfentanyl. Carfentanyl is a synthetic opioid much more potent than Fentanyl. Fentanyl is estimated to be 25–50 times stronger than heroin and 50–100 times stronger than morphine. About 2–3 milligrams of Fentanyl can be lethal. That’s roughly the size of 5–7 grains of salt. Carfentanyl, however, is estimated to be 100 times stronger than Fentanyl or 10,000 times more potent than morphine. As little as .00002 grams can kill a person.

We have nobody in this administration strong enough to tackle this drug invasion. Garland and Mayorkas should be leading the charge, but they prove at every opportunity they are ineffective. Yellen is in China this weekend, but there is no way she will have the cajones to call out China on their part in the Fentanyl crisis. She is too busy repeatedly bowing to her Chinese counterpart to broach this sensitive issue. Biden should take to the podium, call out China, and tell the American people that he will protect them at the Southern Border and tell Xi the drug traffic from China to Mexico ends today.

Monday Memes

Mon, 2023-07-10 16:30 +0000

It’s time for another imposter edition of Monday Memes as I continue to try and fill Nitzakhon’s popular meme shoes. I hope that, so far, I have been up to the task.

As always, this is not a public school classroom so some content may not be appropriate for all ages. And there are a few non-political memes as well as one or two cool photos –  and I have to admit a few too many Hunter/Biden White House cocaine memes.

Military Action Against Iran Is Counterproductive

Mon, 2023-07-10 15:00 +0000

There are those who are against sanctions for a variety of reasons. Some say that sanctions cannot be effectively enforced; others claim that sanctions have never worked in the past and won’t work in the future. These nay-sayers never come up with any practical and viable alternative. Some advocate using massive aerial attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities as the way to go.

Based on my information, I believe that a military response should not even be the last card on the table. Any such move, either by Israel, the U.S., or a combination, will rally the entire Iranian population and perhaps much of the Muslim world against Israel and the U.S. and trigger a kind of turmoil that can set the region ablaze. And the blaze will assuredly scorch Israel and hugely damage the U.S.

Besides, the military option can always be exercised since Iran is nowhere near having produced a credible atomic/nuclear capability, and it is not likely to do so in the short term. Given the present overwhelming opposition of the masses to the rule of the Mullahs, an effective and measured sanction provides an excellent means of regime change without resorting to killing.

Bombing the facilities is the worst thing America and Israel can possibly do. By so doing, they throw the Mullahs a lifeline and hugely hurt the Iranian people. A military attack could also solidify the Islamic world against America, Israel, and the West. The best thing to do is to impose measured but effective sanctions that provide moral and financial support for the Iranian opposition in Iran through available channels.

“Get Out of My Class and Leave America”

Mon, 2023-07-10 13:30 +0000

Prof. Mike Adams was always a great read for me when his columns came out. Unfortunately, he lost his internal struggle with himself a few years ago and he took his own life. The following is one of his “biggest” hits and outlines his stance concerning the encroaching woke/cancel movement alive even back in 2015.

I took note of it then, and eight years later, it has not lost its luster – or his observance of what was happening in academia.

Since then, it has only gotten worse; his words have become even more prescient. I actually used a couple of his thoughts when I lecture at the local college (especially the semester when the Eldest was in my class) on first day of class. Learn from his words and ideas.  Emphasis mine:

Author’s Note: The following column is comprised of excerpts taken from my first lectures on the first day of classes this semester at UNC-Wilmington. I reproduced these remarks with the hope that they would be useful to other professors teaching at public universities all across America. Feel free to use this material if you already have tenure.

Welcome back to class, students! I am Mike Adams your criminology professor here at UNC-Wilmington. Before we get started with the course I need to address an issue that is causing problems here at UNCW and in higher education all across the country. I am talking about the growing minority of students who believe they have a right to be free from being offended. If we don’t reverse this dangerous trend in our society there will soon be a majority of young people who will need to walk around in plastic bubble suits to protect them in the event that they come into contact with a dissenting viewpoint. That mentality is unworthy of an American. It’s hardly worthy of a Frenchman.

Let’s get something straight right now. You have no right to be unoffended. You have a right to be offended with regularity. It is the price you pay for living in a free society. If you don’t understand that you are confused and dangerously so. In part, I blame your high school teachers for failing to teach you basic civics before you got your diploma. Most of you went to the public high schools, which are a disaster. Don’t tell me that offended you. I went to a public high school.

Of course, your high school might not be the problem. It is entirely possible that the main reason why so many of you are confused about free speech is that piece of paper hanging on the wall right over there. Please turn your attention to that ridiculous document that is framed and hanging by the door. In fact, take a few minutes to read it before you leave class today. It is our campus speech code. It specifically says that there is a requirement that everyone must only engage in discourse that is “respectful.” That assertion is as ludicrous as it is illegal. I plan to have that thing ripped down from every classroom on campus before I retire.

One of my grandfathers served in World War I. My step-grandfather served in World War II. My sixth great grandfather enlisted in the American Revolution when he was only thirteen. These great men did not fight so we could simply relinquish our rights to the enemy within our borders. That enemy is the Marxists who run our public universities. If you are a Marxist and I just offended you, well, that’s tough. I guess they don’t make communists like they used to.

Of course, this ban on “disrespectful” speech is really only illusory. The university that created these speech restrictions then turns around and sponsors plays like The Vagina Monologues, which is loaded with profanity including the c-word – the most offensive and disrespectful word a person could ever possibly apply to a woman. It is pure, unadulterated hypocrisy.

So, the university position can be roughly summarized as follows: Public university administrators have a First Amendment right to use disrespectful profanity but public university students do not. This turns the First Amendment on its head. The university has its free speech analysis completely backwards. And that’s why they need to be sued.

Before we go, let us take a few minutes to look at the last page of your syllabus where I explain the importance of coming to class on time, turning off your cell phone, and refraining from talking during lectures. In that section, I explain that each of you has God-given talents and that your Creator endowed you with a purpose in life that is thwarted when you develop these bad habits.

Unbelievably, a student once complained to the Department chairwoman that my mention of God and a Creator was a violation of Separation of Church and State. Let me be as clear as I possibly can: If any of you actually think that my decision to paraphrase the Declaration of Independence in the course syllabus is unconstitutional then you suffer from severe intellectual hernia.

Indeed, it takes hard work to become stupid enough to think the Declaration of Independence is unconstitutional. If you agree with the student who made that complaint then you are probably just an anti-religious zealot. Therefore, I am going to ask you to do exactly three things and do them in the exact order that I specify.

First, get out of my class. You can fill out the drop slip over at James Hall. Just tell them you don’t believe in true diversity and you want to be surrounded by people who agree with your twisted interpretation of the Constitution simply because they are the kind of people who will protect you from having your beliefs challenged or your feelings hurt.

Second, withdraw from the university. If you find that you are actually relieved because you will no longer be in a class where your beliefs might be challenged then you aren’t ready for college. Go get a job building houses so you can work with some illegal aliens who will help you gain a better appreciation of what this country has to offer.

Finally, if this doesn’t work then I would simply ask you to get the hell out of the country. The ever-growing thinned-skinned minority you have joined is simply ruining life in this once-great nation. Please move to some place like Cuba where you can enjoy the company of communists and get excellent health care. Just hop on a leaky boat and start paddling your way towards utopia. You will not be missed.

Thank you for your time. I’ll see most of you when classes resume on Monday.

How Would You Feel If Priests Were Making These Books Available to School Children?

Mon, 2023-07-10 12:00 +0000

I’m okay with adults doing whatever they want, assuming it does not harm others. And we can debate what that means when it comes to a wide range of things, but adults exposing children to sexualized content harms them, and it needs to stop.

Kids are neither physically nor mentally prepared for it, but pubic schools (not a misspelling), teachers’ unions, and even the US Department of Education are doing everything they can to keep this material available and in front of kids. Young kids.

What if it were the Catholic Church and priests? They are a sore spot for many on the political left, even the ones claiming to be Catholic. Cases of predation and pedophilia, and sexual abuse occur exponentially more often in pubic schools. However, if a priest says something remotely sexual, the people who want your kids reading porn lose their collective hive mind. And to be fair to the political left, that is not unusual. Their worldview is built on a foundation of contradiction. But how would the Dems feel about priests making the growing range of books designed specifically to sexualize children available to children?

Would that be grooming?

How would the leading lights in Dover, New Hampshire, feel about it? Father Ilovelittlekids put Susan Kulkin’s Beyond Magenta on the summer reading list.

“From six up, I used to kiss other guys in my neighborhood, make out with them, and perform oral sex on them. I liked it. I used to love oral. And I touched their you-know-whats. We were really young but that’s what we did.”

Or Boy Toy by Barry Iyga, which includes sex between a 13-year-old boy and an adult.

“Listen to me very carefully,” she said on the way. “What we did was fine. We care about each other, and when people care about each other, they kiss. You know that, right? …I was a little annoyed. I wasn’t a baby. “Yes.” …”But you know I could get in trouble for it, right? I mean, I could lose my job. I could go to jail.” Her fingers strummed on the steering wheel. …”I know.” …”So-and I know I’ve said this before-you can’t tell anyone what we talked about or what we did. OK?” …”Uh-huh.” …”Promise me, Josh. Promise me you’ll never tell anyone.”

Your pubic schools include dozens, if not a hundred or more, books like this that have mostly heterosexual child-adult sex, substance abuse, suicide, prostitution, rape, violence,  sodomy, and a host of other adult topics. You paid for them. You’re paying to have them available and are paying teachers and staff who recommend them to students.

At the same time, thousands of books across a wide range of topics are not available, none of which are considered banned because they are not banned; they are simply not suitable.

What if they were available and encouraged reading in the vestry? And would suggesting they be removed be “banning books”?

As I said in my opening, adults are free to pursue a wide range of activities assuming they do not infringe on the rights of others. That includes adults who register as Democrats or are members of Teacher’s unions. But the sexualized material they promote physically and mentally harms children. If that’s such a great idea, what’s to prevent pedophiles from using them to groom children for sex regardless of where it occurs?

We know the answer. You threw women under the transgender culture bus, and the children are next, but here is some advice for anyone not in a protected class. Don’t think for a moment you have the same latitude.

It is an unpleasant truth you should take with you every time you head to the polls to vote.

What Were The Most Valuable Global Brands from 2002-2022? (Animation)

Mon, 2023-07-10 01:30 +0000

This was fun to watch this changing landscape of the 10 top brands in each year and watching the billions of “worth” ticker up and down for each. My quick takeaways::

  • How fast Nokia went up – and then down
  • The absolute rocketing to the top by Apple
  • Also, Amazon and Google
  • The slow descent of GE and the blip that was Facebook

Source page. Watch (58 sec).

Success is earned – and by watching Nokia, lost as well. This shows that Capitalism is the only economic system where risk can be rewarded handsomely but ONLY if you serve your customers well. Stop doing so, and you will be punished; customers are in control.

This is EXACTLY why Socialists, Fascists, and Communists hate it – THEY want to control the winners and losers because each of those systems, and the power-hungry apparatchiks within Government who are trying to do the controlling want to remove you as deciding for yourself what’s best.

Just start thinking of them as the snobs / “cool bossy kids cliques” from high school and treat them (and their enabling politicians) exactly as such at any and all opportunity.

If Virginity is a Social Construct Can’t You Just Claim to Not Be One?

Mon, 2023-07-10 00:00 +0000

If this were a matter before their court, Planned Parenthood would have to recuse itself. The question of virginity is of critical economic concern to an operation whose core business depends on the absence of it.

And while they are entitled to an opinion that favors their business model, let’s say I have some thoughts—but first, this.

Virginity is “the state of a person who has never engaged in sexual intercourse.” Lots of ideas (social constructs) have sprung around the notion of the value of virginity as well as its absence – notions that continue to evolve, but since we’re going there, Planned Parenthood’s definitions of “life” and “women’s health care” are social constructs. The “right” to an abortion is a social construct.

Isn’t this fun?

Society and culture define and create things, and very few bits of our existence do not meet this criterion. Men and women are born as genetically different mammals, while every inch of the gender spectrum is a social construct. Pregnancy, womanhood, and lactation have all fallen to cultural Marxists constructing social ideas whose purpose is to deconstruct America.

But the modern idea of virginity (any human being who has yet to have intercourse) has been around since before Roe v. Wade, so why are you clinging to a narrow outdated, or stereotypical view of Judeo-Christian patriarchy? To profit from increased unwanted pregnancies.

I think you should just say it.

Don’t save yourself; sleep around. Virgins are bad for business. Unwanted pregnancies create jobs at Planned Parenthood. We can’t terminate pregnancies that haven’t happened.

Pick one or all, and put it on T-shirts, hats, and bumper stickers.

Be proud. Be You!

THEY Are The Patriarchy and Out To Erase Women.

Sun, 2023-07-09 22:30 +0000

Even as all of the Left’s identity politics groups declaim “The Patriarchy” (er, simply put: “hate all men because….well, because we say so and we don’t have really any better answers”), this from the Transgender flag wavers:

Clown World: Transgender Cyclist Claims Biological Men Are ‘Underrepresented’ in Women’s Sports

Er, aren’t they supposed to be NON-EXISTENT? With that one line, Austin Killips gives away the Left’s entire game – women mean and are less than women.  They want to put them back into the kitchen, pregnant, and barefoot (something they have always attributed to us) in a matter of speaking. With this, it’s clear that they want to take something that is of VALUE to women and doing so like an adult taking away a lollipop from a child. Reformatted, emphasis mine:

Austin Killips, a biological male cyclist who competes with biological women, found solace in the cycling community during the USA Cycling Pro Road championships in Knoxville, Tennessee. Having faced backlash after becoming the first transgender woman to win a UCI 2.2-registered stage racing event, he expressed his love for the sport and the support he received from fellow cyclists.

“It was nice to have this experience with others that sort of refuted my anxieties and reminded me that this is a really great and wonderful sport filled with people that I love dearly,” Killips said during an interview with Knox News on Saturday.

In the conversation, Killips also stated his belief that there were not enough biological men competing in women’s sports and expressed fear that backlash against this trend would prevent more men from entering these events:

It’s certainly concerning that the nature of the discourse, the amount of energy that has gone into building this narrative would lead you to believe that there’s this massive number of trans athletes participating in sports and winning all the time, when the reality is that we’re statistically underrepresented. By the number, some of us do well, a lot of us do just fine, are just normal competitors. If the rules say trans people can play, then it doesn’t mean that we can’t win.

Well, dude, get the rest of your Beta male dudes to join in, and you can wipe them off the podiums nice and easy. Keep doing that, and all the other “unable to perform” (athletically – get your thoughts out of the gutter!) will join you.  But here’s the money line by author Jeff Charles – and it is the basis for many of us for our intensive pushback on this 2+2=5 delusion:

The issue is that they truly expect to gaslight, cajole, coerce, or shame the rest of us into co-signing that nonsense. Those around him are participating in a mass illusion to make certain folks feel good and virtuous.

In other words, people like Killips want us to all believe something that can never be true – and in his case, taking advantage of weaker females. They have no regard for what is right or wrong.

Sadly, the idea, the morality, and the word “chivalry” has been shoved out of our vernacular by…Feminists who consider it sexist.  Well, dears, if you hadn’t knee-jerked it out of the culture, perhaps you wouldn’t be having this problem.

That is, what seems to be a shrinking percentage, as it seems many Feminists are perfectly fine with biological men taking over your spots and shoving you off your own stages.

Outstanding, ladies!  And no, Austin Killips, I don’t mean you. Unlike many on the Left that tries to use words to bully people – go ahead, call me a bigot and a transphobe. After all, if you still have a prostate, you can not be a woman.

Oh, and this:

‘It is incredibly painful to be Othered‘ – Austin Killips on division, debate, and building dialogue

And what you are doing ISN’T Othering biological women in their own sport. Why is it that transgenders are so narcissistic that they only make themselves the victims and do not care a whit about victimizing biological women?

Are NH Courts Involved in Hiding Sex Trafficking, Sex Abuse by Their Own?

Sun, 2023-07-09 21:00 +0000

Apropos ABA Rule 8.4, I have cited court corruption before. I have brought it up with the AG’s office, with DA Paul Halvorsen of Merrimack County and it has been brought up and is in the record with the United States Senate Judicial Committee as well. In fact, it is part of the reason why former NH AG Michael Delaney was forced to withdraw his application as a judge to the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

We want to thank Claire Best HERE for this Op-Ed. If you have an Op-Ed or LTE
you would like us to consider, please submit it to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

To say something is wrong in the New Hampshire Courts and Law Enforcement ranks would be a wild understatement. Judge Julie Introcaso’s misconduct is the tip of the iceberg.  Other judges who have been caught out before have also had to resign, and yet the club carries on as if it is above accountability and the law.

Are the New Hampshire courts, judiciary, and police involved in a sex ring, and are they, in fact, intertwined with & complicit in the Diocese of Manchester and the sex abuse scandal? And are non-profits and agencies established to combat sex and child abuse, in fact, complicit in the cover-ups?

The attached letter leads me to believe they are. It is between Judge Bernard Hampsey (who I gather is close to NH Supreme Court Chief Justice Gordon MacDonald) and Rev. James A. “Seamus” MacCormack.  It is from May 2002. Please note the denials in it and reference to a letter sent on personal – not court – stationery. What is the need for a judge to send a priest a letter on personal stationery when there is a probe into sex abuse at the diocese in which the AG’s office (where Jim Rosenberg of Shaheen & Gordon worked at the time) is involved?

Apparently, the Executive Director of SNAP sent a letter of resignation yesterday after requests for information about SNAP’s cover-ups of Rev. MacCormack.

The letter attached below seems to suggest a relationship that is not professional between Judge Hampsey and Seamus MacCormack.  Where is the separation between church and state? It appears non-existent.

What is that relationship?

There is a complaint from 2008 from a priest who claims he was retaliated against by the Diocese after finding a box of sex toys that former Monsignor Arsenault took from him and told him never to talk about again. Shortly after Arsenault left the Diocese of Manchester and went to work at St Lukes Institute in Maryland – itself mired in controversy and sex scandals.  The complaint mentions Seamus MacCormack and the YDC.

Excerpts from the complaint read:

17. In or about October of 2002, the Plaintiff Father Coover discovered large quantities of pornographic materials, guidebooks containing locations of homosexual meeting places nationwide, and sexual attire including items consisting of leather and chains in multiple locations in the church rectory and garage;

18. Plaintiff Father Coover contacted the Diocese to disclose the discovery of such items and to request instruction as to how to proceed;

19. Defendant Father Arsenault, on behalf of Defendant Bishop McCormack and Defendant Diocese, instructed Plaintiff Father Coover to assemble the found items, place the items into a sealed container and deliver the container directly to the Chancery in Manchester, New Hampshire;

20. Plaintiff Father Coover delivered the found materials as instructed and was further instructed by Father Arsenault not to discuss the circumstances with anyone;

From later paragraphs:

41. Thereafter, Defendant Father Arsenault, made false statements to Plaintiff Father Coover’s employer, Youth Development Center (“YDC”) of Manchester, New Hampshire, and was placed on administrative suspension, ultimately resulting in Plaintiff Father Coover’s resignation;

42. Based on information and belief, the administrative suspension resulted solely from false and misleading statements made by Defendant Father Arsenault to staff members of the YDC;

In 2013 Gordon MacDonald (at Nixon Peabody at the time) defended the Diocese in a case brought by a family whose young teen son claimed he was being groomed and shown pornography by a priest.

Why did Assistant AG Jane Young shake hands with former Monsignor Edward Arsenault when he took a plea deal in 2014? Why was he transferred from Concord Men’s Prison to Keene’s jail? Why was he then released on home confinement? Why did Chuck Douglas Esq describe Monsignor Edward Arsenault as so pleasant to work with? According to Caroline Douglas, her ex-husband littered his trash with condoms from a sexual relationship he was having behind her back in their own law offices. And according to other documents, he (at the time New Hampshire’s Supreme Court Chief Justice) was sending impregnated teenage girls from the youth detention center back there after the state arranged an abortion because she wouldn’t name her rapist.

Could it be that her rapist was someone in law enforcement, in fact? David Meehan, I believe, is the plaintiff from YDC who went on video camera to say that he was sodomized by a police officer before going to YDC. And from my research, it would appear that David Vicinanzo, Gordon MacDonald’s former partner at Nixon Peabody, was not happy that a reference to sexual abuse by a police officer was made by his client. Why not? What’s David Vicinanzo’s interest in covering up sex abuse by police officers? Why is the NHCADSV so silent about all of this?

In 2015 or so, Senator & former AG Kelly Ayotte’s aide was caught in a sex trafficking/prostitution ring which she claimed to know nothing about. I find that hard to believe. I am also staggered that the NH Bar took no action to investigate further. Again, NHCADSV was silent.

Is it not appropriate, given the below, for a probe into the involvement of members of the court, police, and other agencies in prostitution, sex trafficking, child trafficking, and child abuse?

Gordon MacDonald, I believe, blamed “victim negligence” to defend the state for child sex abuse at YDC. He also argued to block the release of files of corrupt police officers, and his deputy, Geoffrey Ward, deleted the files of 28 or so with no explanation.  Are they hiding sex abuse of minors by police officers or prostitution among their own?

Something is wildly wrong with New Hampshire’s courts and the collusion and cover-ups between AGs office, police, DCYF, and NHCADSV.  There have been too many cover-ups for this to go on ignored.

Why is it that someone called Niko Roswell on Instagram under the tag @itsabouttogetloud is stating that his mother, Armida Geiger, a senior administrative assistant at UNH (which receives millions to address, prevent, and research child and sex abuse) and a member of the nonprofit Womenade, was involved in sex trafficking him (Nicholas Huppe at the time) and other boys in Rochester New Hampshire to priests and his grandfather, a decorated marine? He also claims he was sexually abused by his father- a police officer in Rochester.  According to his Instagram, his mother worked for the Diocese of Manchester as the Secretary at St. Mary’s Church in Rochester, New Hampshire, and she owned a children’s school. If what Niko Roswell says is true, then he is Victim A of New Hampshire Family Court Corruption, Priest Child Sex Abuse, and Law Enforcement Child Sex Abuse.

How peculiar that Concord police detective Julie Curtin has been hired by Shaheen and Gordon and the Diocese to investigate him?  Is she the detective that is hired to protect the exposure of sex rings involving friends of the court, police, and Gordon MacDonald? She has been MacDonald’s lackey to get files without warrants from St Paul’s School, and she has been complicit in an extortion racket, falsification of evidence, witness tampering, and shouldn’t be allowed near any investigation at all. She’s dishonest, and if you doubt my word, then read the trial record of New Hampshire v Owen Labrie and the SANE nurse’s rebuttal of Julie Curtin’s claims about her rape kit report or the State Lab Technician’s testimony about DNA which did not belong to Owen Labrie. And if you read Chessy Prout’s memoir, you might come to the conclusion that Julie Curtin is a child trafficker.

Julie Curtin worked for Gordon MacDonald to investigate St Paul’s school (which included making unsolicited cold calls to anybody she could find to be a victim, to train them for intercept calls (trained by NHCADSV) to wealthy targets after she’d obtained confidential student files without a warrant). And miraculously, there were no criminal proceedings, but there was a lot of money passing hands. I know because I was contacted by one such wealthy target of hers who could hear her training the “victim” she’d solicited on the other end of the line.

All she, Gordon MacDonald, Jane Young, the NHCADSV, Chuck Douglas, Shaheen & Gordon, and co were really interested in was extorting St Paul’s and protecting the crimes committed by their friends, children of their friends, or people whose families were useful to them. Making crooked deals doesn’t protect anyone. In fact, it creates an extremely dangerous environment.  Let’s not forget the letter that Gordon MacDonald’s office sent to the publishers of Lacy Crawford’s memoir “Notes on a Silencing” about the inclusion of chapters regarding Julie Curtin. Let’s also not forget Julie Curtin’s admission to Lacy Crawford about secret deals between attorneys going on in her case or the fact that the attorney partner who organized a deal had recently received an award as attorney of the year. It’s sick.

Like so many other instances involving New Hampshire’s courts, police, DCYF, and co, there is a game of pass the buck, smoke and mirrors, hiding of files, and stonewalling when the public inquires. It effectively renders the courts untrustworthy, useless, a waste of public money, and a criminal sex, drug, and child trafficking cartel.

However, law enforcement and the judiciary are paid for by the people and are required to render services for the people – not for the police, priests, school administrators, or certain families with whom they have special relationships. The public does not pay for children to be manipulated, bullied, lied to, sexually abused, drugged up, force-fed scripts, or silenced by police, administrators, DCYF, or the courts.

The below email leads me to believe that members of the NH courts and police were involved in a sex ring.  Is Julie Curtin a tool for the courts, Diocese, UNH, police, DCYF, and Shaheen & Gordon to hide that and other crimes, such as drug trafficking and money laundering involving their favored few?

Dems Push For The Kiddie Vote, Again

Sun, 2023-07-09 19:30 +0000

The Democrats have created a new reason to allow 16-year-old children to vote. If these young people can have gender reassignment, then they must be mature enough to vote. With that warped logic, why stop at 16? Let’s go for it all and shoot for any school-age child. Sound foolish, not in the WOKE world of Democrats.

They claim they are doing this to expand Democracy, but we know this is a power grab for votes.

Representative Grace Meng (D-NY) reintroduced the bill, with the support of Adam Schiff and Sandy Cortez, to lower the voting age to 16, claiming that 16 and 17-year-olds are legally able to work, drive, and pay federal taxes and should therefore have the right to vote. This is hollow logic. I harken back to my high school years when the drinking age was lowered to 18. The reasoning at the time was if an 18-year-old could fight in Vietnam, then they should be able to drink alcohol. This was a disastrous and deadly decision as teenage DUI and traffic deaths escalated, and the legal drinking age was returned to 21. Just because someone of a certain age can do something legally does not correlate to a universal right to do everything.

Democrats used to rely on the support of particular groups of people such as the Jewish, Black, and Brown. Remember Joe Biden’s famous line from the 2020 election, “Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” In recent elections, they have seen the votes from these blocks moving over to the Republicans as these folks realize the loyalty for their votes were not very strong.

Democrats must expand their voting base to guarantee their future political careers, and going after the teen vote makes sense. If high school kids are already indoctrinated to believe Socialism is the correct path for our future, then these children can be programmed to vote for Democrat candidates. The Democrats will not have to work for these votes. They can let the education system do the work for them.

High school students are not socially aware enough to make political decisions, but recent studies show that holds true for most Democrats. In a recent poll, 54% of Democrats had little or no knowledge of current news events, which can be attributed to mainstream media’s lack of coverage of many events. An example is the Hunter Biden fiasco, where the major networks, CNN and MSNBC, gave it nearly zero coverage.

This attempt to lower the voting age has no chance of becoming law as long as the Republicans hold onto one of the chambers of Congress. But rest assured that should the Democrats regain the House and hold the Senate and the Oval Office, this will be one of their hottest priorities, along with statehood for Washington, DC. Maybe instead of patronizing this age group for their votes, Democrats should urge the teacher’s union to educate them and get their academic scores back up to pre-Covid levels. That would be a more challenging task but more beneficial for these young people and the country.

A Muslim in France Says the Quiet Part Out Loud – “Colonization”

Sun, 2023-07-09 18:00 +0000

Many in the developed world -not t blinkered by “Social Justice” – have called the movement of millions of Muslim youths (families being a much smaller percentage, just like at our Southern border) “The Clash of Civilizations.” An invasion by non-military means. We were called stupid for doing so by those that we then called “Western Civilization Self-Loathers.”

I watched as the European Government leaders put those “asylum seekers,” many of whom became welfare squatters instead of the “new citizens” they were expecting to make up for their real Citizens’ crashing birth rates.

And guess what? We were right all along.

The Muslims aren’t there for a better life – it is a takeover of the country – and they are there now, sparked in a manner similar to how George Floyd’s death launched the Black Lives Matter movement.

A Muslim man gave a shocking answer amid ongoing rioting in France in a now-viral man-on-the-street interview, telling a reporter it’s now their “turn” to colonize a nation they deem racist.

Thousands have rioted since June 27, when a police officer shot and killed a 17-year-old who investigators say refused to stop for police.

And this “nice boy” had an existing rap sheet to boot. Just like George Floyd, but just like the “Hands Up” co-opters, had another agenda in mind – take down our system here in the US and now it’s being replayed in France under another pretext that doesn’t hold much water except as a man-made flash point.

Muslim immigrants, as well as critics around the world including the U.N., have blamed the riots on “institutional racism” in France.

Yeah, Critical Race Theory went international.  ALL Whites, ALL Europeans, and those of European descent are ALWAYS Racists. Balderdash – as we saw with BLM, it is always nothing but a scam that helped the self-avowed Marxists at the top “get theirs” with millions of bribes donations from corporations intentionally mismanaged and ending up in the pockets of very few. The true believers and foot soldiers got bubkis.

Most “migrating to a better life” Muslims in European countries are going to find out that will be their fate in life as well: cannon fodder for those at their top.

And someone finally said what we suspected all along – this is a play for REVENGE, just like BLM was here in the US:

Sure thing with that “Religion of Peace” there, Baghdad Bob. Right up there with “mostly peaceful” by our media (with building burning in the background) during the BLM and Antifa riots that caused over $2 Billion in damages and killed many.

And we’re seeing the same thing here in the US under the Obama and now Biden Administrations – illegal aliens are given more stuff and privileges than we, who have to pay their freight for being here illegally. Consider it reparations by other means to atone for the Left’s self-loathing and guilt.

Certainly, nothing less and probably a whole lot more. If it is happening there, it will start happening here soon. Remember, “Islam” translates as “submit.”

Point That Finger in the Mirror

Sun, 2023-07-09 16:30 +0000

Recently, I saw someone complaining that the Biden administration’s attempts to suppress free speech on social media are inconsistent with promises that Biden made to ‘bring decency and morality’ back to government.

But wait — isn’t it widely accepted that the way to promote decency and morality is to suppress indecency and immorality?

Isn’t that the goal of progressive administrations when they try to curate speech?  To keep people from saying things that are indecent (for example, that you ought to be able to own an AR-15) or immoral (for example, that maybe not everyone should get vaccinated)?  So that the rest of us can be ‘protected’ from exposure to people with such horrid beliefs?

And isn’t that also the goal of conservative administrations when they try to curate behavior?  To keep people from doing things that are indecent (like using recreational drugs) or immoral (like paying for sex)?  So that the rest of us can be ‘protected’ from exposure to people with such horrid beliefs?

The cause of all the fuss seems to be that progressives and conservatives agree on the need to suppress indecency and immorality.  They disagree only on what constitutes decency and morality.

So when either group gets into power, it tries to force its views on the other group. And when either group gets out of power, it complains about having the other group’s views forced on it.

Probably the most important ‘constitutional principle’ that people tend to forget is that — as Ron Paul pointed out — you can’t give up less than 100 percent of a right. How many conservatives who are now complaining about government censorship would be willing to agree with Hugo Black?

Without deviation, without exception, without any ifs, buts, or whereases, freedom of speech means that you shall not do something to people either for the views they express, or the words they speak or write.

In my experience, most people — including most conservatives — agree in principle with Joe Biden when he says that ‘no rights are absolute.’ They just differ in which exceptions to allow. Which means they have to resort to politics to fight over those exceptions.

As with global nuclear war, the only way to win that game is to stop playing it — to stop thinking of rights as causing problems, and start thinking of them as having consequences:

https://granitegrok.com/blog/2021/03/problem-or-consequence

https://granitegrok.com/blog/2022/05/consequences-are-not-problems

The former view leads to one-size-fits-none government solutions.

The latter view leads to infinitely-customizable individual responses.  (It’s also consistent with the idea that governments are formed to protect rights and derive their just powers from the consent of the governed — an idea that, for more than 160 years, GOP platforms have said that the party exists to protect.)

What progressives and conservatives both need to learn is that the best way to get what you want is give up the idea that in order to get it, you have to force everyone else to go along with you:

https://granitegrok.com/blog/2019/03/the-js-have-it

Democrats could have a single-payer health care system for Democrats next year… if they would just leave non-Democrats out of it:

https://granitegrok.com/blog/2019/03/the-single-payer-party

Republicans could have a system that punishes Republicans, but not anyone else, for failing to live up to their own religious principles… if they would just leave non-Republicans out of it:

https://granitegrok.com/blog/2019/03/the-voluntary-exclusion-party

And everyone else could take advantage of what Justice Brandeis called the most comprehensive of rights and the right most valued by civilized men:  the right to be let alone.

As Jesus said, before worrying about the mote in your brother’s eye, remove the beam from your own.

Matt Walsh Goes to the Very Heart of Transgenderism – And Defines It’s Superficiality

Sun, 2023-07-09 15:00 +0000

Like the [il]Liberal movement itself, it is narcissistic and shallow. Just like Critical Race Theory, transgenderism is skin deep – externalities only. What Walsh points out, and many of us understand, is transgenderism only treats the outward physical manifestations of another sex by those suffering from gender dysphoria (or those swept up the social contagion affecting many pre-teens and teens (and Moms with Munchausen Syndrome by proxy that states their two-year-old toddler understands what sex is and it isn’t what it observably is).

There is that saying that we men have no idea what women are or want. No, not in the way that Walsh’s now infamous (and HATED by the Left every time we on the Right ask it) “What is a Woman?”. He’s a hater, I’m a hater, you can be a hater, too, if you ask it – and demand an answer (Thank you, SCOTUS Justice and Harvard grad Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, for forever making it clear that the Left can’t define what a woman is – the phrase of unending and very deserving comedy).

But Walsh points out what almost all men (unless you are a Beta male, a simpering male feminist or the run of the mill Leftist) intuitively know – unless you’ve trudged miles upon miles in our shoes, you cannot know the burden that we have that women don’t (and he points out wonderfully, the reverse is true as well). He starts out with a clip from Libs of TikTok that we had previously used on GraniteGrok (Me? Steve?) where the transman James laments that being a man is just plain lonely:

While I put Walsh’s email below for context (I’m on his distro list), here are the important bits (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Here’s what we’re witnessing in this video. A woman was driven, by her own self-loathing and confusion, to reject her womanhood and attempt to become a man. She did not succeed in this pursuit, and never will, but through the help of drugs and surgery, she has managed to create a semi-convincing costume of a man. It is convincing enough, apparently, that most people she encounters reflexively accept and see her as a man. She had imagined that being seen as a man would be a great relief for her, a source of peace and freedom, but instead she has found that manhood is not the utopian fantasyland she imagined it would be. Men in the modern world are, as she has discovered, often deeply isolated, alienated, and alone. It is lonely to be a man, she says. And she’s right.

She did not know this before she set out on the fool’s errand of transitioning, but she has now discovered that men carry a heavy burden,  a cross that is invisible to many women. Now she finds herself shouldering just a portion of it, and it has broken her. She wanted to be a man, but was not prepared for what that meant. How could she be? She wasn’t a man and therefore could not have possibly known what it was like to be one.

She still doesn’t know.

Of course, she doesn’t, as she fell for the Left’s belief that we are all just mere interchangeable cogs in their Social Machine. They believe, just like chess pieces, that we can be moved at their command, hither and thither, to further develop THEIR future utopia (at our disruption) via creating chaos. And in this case, how much more chaos can the Left create in greasing the skids by which a person loses all footing on their reality except the skin-deep changes only available by taking drugs (which should be a cautionary tale for other drug decriminalization efforts by the Left and silly Libertarians).

We’re not interchangeable – ALL of us are unique and not just physically, but Walsh covers that as well:

She says that women are deeper and more emotionally mature, which is why it is much less lonely to be a woman. But that isn’t true. Women aren’t deeper or more mature. They are just different. They are women. They are more relational by nature, more empathetic, more affectionate, more emotional, softer in many ways. Women are more fragile; it is easier to hurt them physically and emotionally.

This all can be a source of frustration for us as men, but it’s also what we love about women. We love women because women are women. They are not us. They are different. They have a different way of being, of existing in the universe. They bring another dimension into our lives, and we sense that we need that dimension to be truly whole.

A healthy man doesn’t want to be a woman; he doesn’t want to adopt her ways and her manner of thinking, much less her body but he does want to be with a woman. He wants not to become her, but to be united with her.

I can say this about the inner life of a man because I am one. “James” misses all of this because she isn’t. Instead she surmises that we are simply shallow and emotionally immature. Which is exactly the kind of patronizing, contemptuous anti-male cliche that contributes to the isolation and loneliness that she’s complaining about. It may be true of some men on an individual basis, but generally speaking it is not a lack of depth that causes men to be quieter, more stoic, more reserved, or more distant. It is not even the intentional alienation and marginalization of an aggressively anti-male, masculinity-hating culture, though that is part of the story.

Some of what “James” is tapping into, or at least for the first time noticing, has been an immutable aspect of manhood for as long as the human species has existed. There is indeed more to being a man than simply having male reproductive organs and chromosomes. There is also the actual experience of being a man; the inner life of a man; which runs much deeper than “James” understands, even now. A man tends to be more in tune with the harshest aspects of reality. He is uniquely called to confront the darkness in the world, and uniquely equipped for this calling. It’s not that we don’t feel anything. We do feel, and feel with great depth, but we carry those feelings differently, and often we carry them in silence, alone. This is how we are wired, and the world needs us to be wired this way. Women are also more oriented towards community. They build and depend upon relationships. Men are more solitary by nature. Again, these differences are hardwired.

When we say that men shouldn’t cry, it is not just a joke. There’s an important truth here. The world needs men to pick up their burdens, shoulder them quietly, and get on with business. The more that men become emotional and soft, the more that society ceases to function as it should. We need emotion and softness. That’s why we have women. We also need toughness and hardness. That’s why we’re supposed to have men. The men who fulfill this duty are accused of being unfeeling, of lacking depth, but the truth is that they have a depth that people like James can’t even begin to comprehend. And she probably never will. She has accessed only the surface level of the male experience, and she’s already fleeing for the hills. If she ever got the entire thing; I mean if she was actually able to fully inhabit the mind, the inner life, of a man, it would be torture for her. As it would be for any woman. That’s because women are not meant to carry the burden of manhood, any more than men are meant to carry the burden of womanhood. We are where we belong. Which is the identity we were born with. We cannot comprehend what it’s really like to have any other identity.

He’s right. Absolutely right. We are different, but starting with the now toxic Feminist movement that wishes to banish maleness altogether because they don’t realize the truth that Walsh brings, they simply dismiss that role with “toxic masculinity”.

What those “like a fish needs a bicycle” harridans don’t understand is that THEY are a big part of this problem. They changed the culture by attempting (and in large part, succeeding) to cut men out of the Culture completely. Let’s face it, even as females are glorified, have higher graduation rates in high school and college and are taking the majority of degrees, men are ALWAYS considered to be selfish rapists and layabouts.  And DANGEROUS.

You know, its rather serious – the Left is always saying how rotten and DANGEROUS and unequal America is – yet people still want to come here.

If men are so rotten, why is it that women still want to become men?

After all, we’re just not all that privileged anymore, even as we, as husbands, providers, and protectors, still uplift our wives – who ARE women. And after 42 years of marriage, like the insurance company ad, I think I know a thing or two about that – but maybe only a coupla things when I have to admit it. After all, ALL real men still don’t understand their wives completely – and that’s fine as they don’t completely understand us as well.

That’s why we’ve been made to be complementary and not just some cog in a Leftist dissonant Utopia.

Why Women Will Never Know What It???s Like To Be A Man

Anyone who has seen “What is a Woman?” and millions of people have now  knows that at the end we do provide an answer to the elusive question. My wife makes an appearance in the very last scene (spoiler) and delivers the correct biologically-sound definition: a woman is an adult human female. That answer is simple and accurate and obviously necessary to establish. But once it has been established, there is plenty more to say about the subject. “What is a Woman” both the question and the film that revolves around it, are meant to be the beginning of a discussion, not the end. A woman is an adult human female ; every woman is that, and must be that but there is so much more to womanhood than its basic biological definition. Just as a man is an adult human male, every man is that, and must be that.

This is a point made, rather accidentally, by a viral Twitter clip featuring a female who, some time ago, changed her name to “James” and attempted to transition into a man. James now calls herself “the trans coach” and offers life advice and motivational tips for other trans people. Yet in a recent video James revealed that she still has a lot to learn about the male identity she is attempting to assume.

What you???re about to watch is truly one of the saddest things you’ve likely seen in a while, but also quite profound in a few different ways. I???ll explain, but first watch:

Now, there’s a lot in that two-minute monologue that’s simply wrong, starting with her calling herself a man, of course but even the wrong parts reveal something essential, if accidentally, about manhood, about trans ideology, and about our culture.

We cannot comprehend what it’s really like to have any other identity.

As for “James”, she will not allow herself to comprehend anything. She gets close to partially understanding, but then she makes a left turn and runs away. That’s why at the end she makes sure to clarify that women and allegedly marginalized minorities are still totally justified in treating “cisgender” white males like dirt. She was nearly on the verge of discovering that we are human beings, that we have feelings, that we suffer, but her ideology won’t allow her to finish connecting the dots.

It’s all futile. Just like her transition. It amounts to nothing in the end.
