Today is Thanksgiving, and whatever the circumstances, political, cultural, or economic, we call upon the blessing in our lives, no matter how small, and give thanks. We also eat a lot of food. Typically.
I’m big on recognizing blessings, no matter how small. It keeps us honest, focused, humble, and appreciative, even when things sort-of, kind-of, suck (if or when they do). No one wants to think things can get worse, but they can. Recognizing what’s still good can give us the strength to work for better, whatever better means to each of us.
I give thanks every day in my own way for the blessings in my life and feast on the joy it brings regardless of the day’s circumstances, but it is not every day that there’s a big meal meant to help us focus on that, assuming we have the sense to do more than eat. But I do enjoy the feast.
I am a huge fan of turkey.Thanksgiving turkey. I would say that it is my favorite thing on the table. But turkey tastes better with stuffing and mashed potatoes, all piled on a fork, covered in gravy, and there’s the rub. Those other things are good, too. Your friends or family likely include many dishes, some of which might be unique to your experience.

It seems that any meeting between President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping inevitably presents another opportunity to render the U.S. increasingly reliant on China for its energy security.
This week’s meetings at the APEC conference in a suddenly cleaned-up San Francisco were no exception. (RELATED: DAVID BLACKMON: What Does China Know That The Biden Admin Doesn’t?)
One of the most disturbing aspects of the bilateral meetings between the U.S. and China was the looming presence of John Kerry at the table. Kerry serves as Biden’s “climate envoy,” a made-up job that is not even a confirmed position and does not merit a seat at such meetings. But there he was, making sure the President and other U.S. officials toe the line on climate commitments.
Fox News reports that Kerry’s efforts resulted in more security compromising fruit, as State Department officials agreed with their Chinese counterparts to triple down on commitments to further inhibit American energy and national security in the name of climate change. The two governments agreed to “accelerate the substitution for coal, oil and gas generation” with renewables and electric vehicles in the coming years, a pledge that China has already undermined with its implementation of a new round of subsidies for the acceleration of its already-massive expansion of coal-fired power plants in the coming years.
It is the sort of deal China has routinely violated in recent years as it continues to prioritize its own energy security at the expense of stated climate goals. It is also the sort of deal that Kerry, Biden and other Democrats have systematically used over recent decades to render the U.S. increasingly reliant on China for its own energy future.
“The agreement speaks heavily about advancing — doubling down and tripling down on renewables, wind and solar. The majority of them are made in China,” Daniel Turner, the founder and executive director of Power The Future, told Fox News Digital. “It is basically guaranteeing China decades of wealth, guaranteeing America is going to buy their products.”
Turner isn’t wrong, and the effects on climate change from the latest Kerry-led deal will be negligible, if not actually negative given China’s far lower environmental regulations and standards. Even worse, China’s control of the supply chains for most of the parts and metals that go into the making and deployment of renewables and EVs leaves the U.S. and other western nations with a steadily diminishing sphere of geopolitical leverage.
But Americans did receive a bit of positive news in the green energy realm this past week from a seemingly unlikely source: Oil major ExxonMobil. The biggest U.S.-based oil company announced the kickoff of a new project to produce lithium from a deep underground saltwater formation in southern Arkansas called the Smackover.
Somewhat ironically, ExxonMobil will deploy standard oil and gas drilling, production and reinjection technologies and processes to produce, extract and process the lithium. If successful, the project will turn America’s biggest major oil company into one of the country’s biggest lithium companies, too.
This is probably not exactly the model Biden’s regulators, many of whom are alumni of leftist anti-fossil fuel lobby groups, envisioned when they began launching their myriad efforts to subsidize and regulate this artificial energy transition into being, but they should be glad to take the help where they can get it.
Given that the ExxonMobil project will qualify for the tax incentives contained in the Orwellian-named Inflation Reduction Act, the Biden officials will even be able to point to it as a success story related to that costly legislation.
Given that the administration’s own efforts to source domestic supplies of critical energy metals and free their supply chains from Chinese dominance have to this point borne little fruit, the project being mounted by ExxonMobil amounts to a great leap forward.
What it all demonstrates as that all the handshake deals between government Mandarins like Kerry in the world cannot match the power of innovation and ingenuity from America’s private sector. It also demonstrates the absolute necessity of maintaining a healthy and robust domestic oil and gas industry, without which none of this is remotely possible.

Men in the Western world are under attack. Our society has grown to hate the divine characteristics that come ingrained inside of every man when he is conceived.
The war on masculinity is the root cause of our societal decline, and yet our highly credentialed “experts” running the therapy market want single men to denounce their inherent qualities to the detriment of our nation.
Apparently, single women like men who love going to therapy. Psychology Today surveyed 25,000 daters using the Bumble dating app to claim that the best version of men would be one who goes to treatment and isn’t afraid to brag about it.

Instead of being thankful for their protection and steady leadership, we’ve allowed a massive PSYOP to take over that tells men that they can only claim to be “valuing personal growth” if they use psychotherapy as a tool to challenge traditional masculine norms. An International Journal of Health Sciences (IJHS) study analyzed in PsyPost found “that men who had a less negative view of masculinity reported higher levels of mental positivity. … In other words, when men disagreed with statements such as ‘Masculinity prevents me from talking about how I feel about my problems,’ they tended to have a better overall mental outlook.”

The study’s author, John Barry, told the PsyPost that it’s time society stops “using toxic terminology such as ‘toxic masculinity,’ because it is possible these ideas are being internalized by men and boys and impacting them negatively.” He said it is likely that telling men and boys their inherent qualities are evil and need to be challenged “is actually increasing the likelihood of behaviors they are intended to reduce.” (RELATED: Liberal Women Who Can’t Find A Masculine Husband Need A Reality Check, Mary Rooke Explains)
“Instead, it might help if we highlight more the ways that masculinity can be a positive influence on men and society,” Barry said.
Single women have no idea the destruction they are causing by demanding men talk to complete strangers about their problems rather than insist their man turns to them. Women expect men to take on the dragons of modern-day life, but when they come home wounded, women tell men that their pain, stress, or exhaustion means nothing. Instead of being their greatest ally, women tell men to take their problems to someone who doesn’t know or care about them.

These moments where men become vulnerable and are willing to divulge their past traumas or aspirations for the future should happen between a man and a woman as they build their relationship. Women are contracting out the work that, in past generations, served as the bonds that kept marriages together until death did them part.
By telling men their feelings need to be analyzed by a professional, women waste their chance to embrace the emotional expressiveness they crave from men. The truth is a good man will be vulnerable with a woman he loves and trusts. The more a man can talk about his dreams and challenges with a woman he sees as honorable and trustworthy, the more loyal he is and the more willing he is to use his strength to ensure she is loved and cared for. They can’t help but want to protect us. It’s part of what makes them feel accomplished and whole. Women have to quit telling men their masculinity causes problems. It’s not the issue plaguing society. In fact, the only chance the Western world has at surviving the death spiral it’s currently in is if strong men stand in the gap. It’s a thankless job, but one our society needs.

In 2020, you ran for office on certain claims and promises. You were endorsed by an employee of Riverbend Mental Health Clinic, where the shooter, Madore, worked, according to earlier reports, as a mentor.
How is it possible that someone with a history such as Madore’s could obtain a job at Riverbend? This points to a larger issue that is systemic in Concord: lackadaisical attention by publicly funded organizations to who gets hired or their backgrounds.
Examples of this can be found at Concord Schools and the hiring of a teacher who had a background of sexual misconduct at SNHU. The hiring of a woman at the youth detention center who had a history of abuse of teenagers. Or the recent incident in the hallway of the NHCADSV in which Donald Sullivan claimed to represent the NHCADSV. NHCADSV claimed he was an off-duty police officer to Concord Police. His LinkedIn, the AG, and St. Paul’s School show he was an employee or full-time contractor at St. Paul’s School. He was moonlighting—apparently a common practice in Concord.
It doesn’t take grants to clean up lackadaisical management. It takes ethics, checks, balances, and an understanding of the possible fatal consequences of not doing these.
As you know, I brought to your attention the issue of witness tampering and a Concord Official/NHCADSV rep’s and prosecutor’s knowledge of this in a criminal trial. But instead of addressing it (witness tampering is a felony-level crime), my concerns were passed off. My concerns about the credibility issues of Concord PD Julie Curtin were also ignored by the AG’s office. My concerns about being cyberstalked by NHCADSV and Amanda Grady Sexton were also ignored.
When you ignore the very real conduct concerns raised by the public, you indicate that public officials simply don’t care about the serious and sometimes fatal consequences that come from ignoring these warnings we provide.
As a result of the malfeasance in the criminal investigation and trial of Owen Labrie, lives have been put in danger for life; there have reportedly been hospitalizations as well of students who were smeared. This is completely unacceptable.
The State’s agencies are failing due to secret deals and lackadaisical attention to ethics. Lives will continue to be in danger until public officials pay attention to the public’s warnings and act accordingly. Lives are more important than budgets, federal grants, and political aspirations, except in Concord, New Hampshire. Why is that?

The contradictions out of the gate are painfully obvious, which the Twitchy author notes in their opening. No one is wearing a mask.
Nobody paid attention, but the director of the CDC got together with some other tools and stood next to each other without wearing masks to tell you to wear a mask to keep your family safe this holiday season.
Despite a universal understanding that COVID tests are ill-suited to the task, someone continues to make millions, maybe someone at the CDC; I’ve lost track. But test kits make a great stocking stuffer for the Karens on your list, and nothing says Joy like, hey, test yourself for COVID, or something!
The CDC has also admitted that vaccines do not prevent infection or stop the spread, but this is like a relationship where both parties know it has ended. Neither of them knows what to do after, so they keep acting like nothing is wrong (hint: the people need to stop getting jabbed and end this crazy thing).
And masks. Masks? There is a reason no one is wearing them in the photo. They never worked, and the CDC knew that before COVID, but there is a mountain of new research about how masks don’t prevent infection or spread. More than you can shake a (something medically sounding) at. But that doesn’t seem to matter. I still see people, including young people at businesses I frequent, who wear a mask (even an N95) every day they work.
I watched a carriage fetcher at a local grocery store who has been masked since the halcyon days of Pandemicville, circa 2020, that (to this day) wears an N95 until he is in his car by himself. No one is ever going to get through to that guy. So, when the CDC squeaks, they listen. But a few years from now, maybe less, that individual and those like them will be confronted with a panoply of symptoms or conditions related to restricting their airway every day for several hours every day.
CDC Guidance on masking, updated in May of 2023, fails to address health risks except for a sliver of the population with certain pre-existing conditions (and children). At the same time, they are promoting making, including cloth, as providing some protection.
None of this is true, nor is the CDC informing people of the risks, and that needs to change.

Joe Biden loves the control he can wield when 65% of America thinks he is driving America further off course. If you cannot govern with a consensus, use the tools that allow you to control the masses. You may remember that Biden invoked the same act during the Pandemic to force masks onto our faces and needles into our arms. This time, it is not a worldwide disease. Joe is protecting us from the evil gas stoves in our homes. Knowing that people cannot make decisions themselves, Joe acts on our behalf. The gas stoves and heat pumps are just the latest round of appliances the Biden Administration has taken control of in the name of Climate Change.
The Democrats disguise their motives by telling us their actions and policies are for our best, but Americans are waking up to this movement. This Master Plan to combat Climate Change is part of America’s transformation. Every step the Left takes is to restrict our mobility and to manipulate our personal space. America is a mobile society, and Americans love the freedom to move about at will and to relocate to areas that better fit their thinking and desires. Democrats want to stifle our mobility so they can design and control demographics. This way, they can draw Congressional district lines to assure Democrat control of the Government. They do not want people to exit California to states with more personal freedoms or flood to Florida to solidify its Red political leaning. They want you to stay where they put you and then sprinkle in illegal immigrants to assure their power base.
This is precisely why the Left is pushing so hard to have us all in Electric Vehicles, or no vehicle at all, as quickly as possible. Gasoline powered cars are the symbol of independence and mobility. We love our cars and are reluctant to use alternatives such as mass transit. There are no schedules, predetermined routes, and nothing controlling your voyage except your hands on the wheel and your foot on the gas. This dynamic scares the hell out of Democrats and why they are using Climate Change as an excuse to put chains on Americans.
Some states, Blue states, are jumping on board by implementing laws that parallel the Left’s desire to outlaw gas-driven vehicles. NJ, California, and Michigan, to name a few that would like to see us all plugging in by 2035. Joe is testing the waters by implementing the Defense Production Act. He knows these policies will never become law, with the vast majority against a mandate to switch to EV vehicles. His test will not go well, and the court cases will line up to shoot down his plans. But just like the Student Loan Forgiveness Plan, he knew it was illegal, but the mere promise of relief bought votes and avoided a Red Wave.
There is no emergency unless you want to go with Al Gore’s existential threats from 25 years ago, Greta Thunberg’s, or even Congresswoman Cortez. According to these three, we are already underwater. Climate Change is real, and sometimes the change goes down, which is why we no longer call it Global Warming. It is not the existential threat that is posed by our nuclear armed foes, but the Democrats go back to the well whenever they cannot get consensus, and that is where we are now. So get your hands off our gas stoves, air conditioners, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and, absolutely, our cars. If you want to do something worthwhile before you leave the White House, turn on the drills and start drilling for oil again. That will get you a consensus.

You know what Trump Derangement Syndrome is – it’s hard not to know. And then there’s the TDS variant known as J6. One afflicts those obsessed with hating Donald Trump, the latter with hating his supporters, and news just broke that elevates the J6 variant to a whole new level.
I know what you are thinking. Loss of due process rights, indefinite detention, star chambers, show trials, and kangaroo courts. What could take that to a new level? How about this?
“We’re not flying right now. The only missions that we are doing are ‘Quiet Skies’ missions and those are missions that are following the January 2021 people,” Labosco said. “So we’re either on the border for illegal immigrants or we’re following folks from January 2021. We’re not doing our regular missions where we’re out there looking for the bad guys so for now most flights you’re not gonna have Air Marshalls.”
The Fox News host was stunned: “What do you mean that you’re following January 2021 people? What does that mean?
Labosco said their primary mission is to stalk every single person who flew into the DC area even if they never went to the Capitol and were never charged with any crimes.“That means our primary mission is a little group called ‘quiet skies’ – it’s a mission called quiet skies that we’re following people that flew into the national capital region in January 2021 and they did not have to go to the Capitol or the rally and you’ve been put on a specific list that TSA has now assigned Air Marshals to follow these people who have not had any type of criminal investigation – they haven’t committed a crime, but yet three years later we are following the same individuals day in and day out,” Labosco said.
They haven’t committed a crime, but the feds are stalking them. Why?
The Fox News host asked Labosco, “So you’re saying the [Air Marshals] aren’t…tracking terrorists at all?”
“Well, they didn’t even have to be at the Capitol…they could have just flown into the capital region so anyone who was there for a job interview or to visit family. We even have a gentleman who was there for a funeral. They’ve been put on this domestic terrorist list just because of their geographic location to Washington DC,” Labosco said.
How odd is it that the Feds would or could follow “anyone” (and everyone) who flew into DC that day?
It sounds to me like she’s generalizing about the list. Given that the NSA spying machine can filter that list to anyone who has ever used a particular set of words like Biden Laptop pr Hillary email server or Joe Biden- Burisma-Ukraine, MAGA, Trump, you get the idea – I suspect the list isn’t EVERYONE who flew. But there is a list, and they are putting agents in play when someone’s name from January 6th pops.
Stalking political opponents is a bigger priority than global terrorists.
And don’t get me wrong. We never used to have Air Marshalls, not really – not like post 9/11, and the world continued to turn without much notice. But the world now knows what the Biden regime is focused on.

In the children’s picture book “The Sublime Ms. Stacks,” a male librarian dresses in drag to perform for children. The goal here is to propagandize kids into Queer Theory which “dismantles traditional assumptions about gender and sexual identities.”
What’s really disappointing is that the author Robb Pearlman also wrote a children’s book called “Dolls and Trucks Are for Everyone” that pushes back against Queer Theory by showing that girls can play with trucks and boys can play with dolls and they can have a variety of interests that aren’t gender-typical and still be girls and boys.

Pearlman shows that he understands well that the gender stereotypes pushed by the gender cult are regressive. But then he throws it all away in “The Sublime Ms. Stacks” when the male librarian affirms the most exaggerated of female gender stereotypes by putting on fake breasts, a low-cut top, lots of gaudy makeup and jewelry, and a huge blond wig.
In an interview, Pearlman says “I think the most age-appropriate way to describe drag would be within the context of storytime, pretend, and dress-up.” If it was all about dress-up and make-believe why is it a male librarian putting on the costume and not a female librarian? Why is gender confusion central to the story?
It’s because this is not about giving kids an age-appropriate story that challenges their imagination. The true purpose is to achieve Queer Theory’s goal of “dismantling traditional assumptions about gender and sexual identities.”

I have zero doubts I’m on a “watch list” – have been for years. Doubly-so if, when events prove them wrong and you right, their world view of themselves as “intelligent” and “educated” and “otherwise superior” is called into question.

Based on a brief review of the available “literature,” UNH Professor Chanda Prescod-Weinstein is brilliant. She’s so smart that she likely falls into the category of intellectuals who are actually stupid.
Her campus-culture echo chamber existence would be amusing if not, in fact, tragic. She comes off as another self-hating progressive Jew trapped in the contradictions of the social justice paradigm. Take colonialism. She opposes it, and it appears to be at the center of the recent scandal – if you can call Israel-hating White-Tower Liberals publishing what everyone they know thinks in public, outrageous.
The IDF is entering Gaza to kill entire families. It’s ethnic cleansing. But nothing about Hamas entering Israel to wipe out unarmed Jewish families is that. Jihadis who have sworn to erase a nation and the people in it is a justified response to oppression. I’m not sure how that comports with the social justice horror of Europeans “wiping out” the indigenous ancestors of Asian migrants to make room for UNH, but it sounds similar to me.
Prescod-Weinstein (who only appears to donate to Democrats) worked at MIT and is tenured at the University of New Hampshire ($92,660.00/year in 2022), which has colonized some unknown number of acres across the State, robbed from whatever indigenous people lived on it before white Europeans came along. Should we expect the oppressed natives to sneak off the reservation to kill, rape, and behead some folks with Professor Chanda Prescod-Weinstein’s approval?
I think she should be demanding UNH fire everyone and give back the land. From Durham, New Hampshire, to the Sea!
UNH also greedily spends public money it did not earn, whining whenever someone suggests more of it stays in the hands of those who worked to earn it. Some of them are Jews whose family or friends were ethnically cleansed on October 7th and deserved it, depending on who you ask.
UNH also does nothing to prevent students who are paying out-of-state tuition from colonizing local ballot boxes with votes that could directly impact the university’s public funding. I feel certain Chandra is not just okay with that but would call it protecting the student vote when all she’s protecting is her liberal interests. Even a UNH student can mail an absentee ballot to the address outside New Hampshire where the college sends the tuition bill, but asking them to do that is voter suppression. But it’s not.
And yes, some have expressed outrage at Chandra’s remarks in the wake of the Hamas attacks on October 7th. State Senator Dan Innis, also employed by UNH, was outraged at her and UNH. State Senator Jeb Bradley has said that the State’s upper chamber wants to take another look at the 100 million taxpayers pony up to UNH in the wake of comments by liberal professors being who they are.
The administration might blink at that, but Innis and Bradley are white men, so Chandra – who is also a professor of women’s studies but likely can’t tell you what a woman is – might label this as another form of systemic oppression. As if robbing people under the color of law – regardless of any demographic identifiers – to pay her to hate them for it is some sort of justice.
Sorry, maybe hate is too strong a word, but I think you get my point.

Many Americans are looking at the national political landscape in bewilderment. The country is sharply divided into four groups. There are those who are total Democrat Party loyalists sheepishly following the Biden agenda.
We have some who are complicit in forcing the Biden regime’s agenda on the country and the world. Others are totally tuned out or keeping their heads down, and then folks that are awake or have awakened to the reality that the USA sorely needs to go in a different direction. But what is the position that the country is in, and why has this come to be?
To develop a proper understanding, we have to refine our question— Why is the USA such an atheistic, amoral political wasteland? That is what the American nation is today— the country has been conditioned to reject religion. Mainstream corporate media and information channels, as well as the federal government under the Democrat Party— the de facto modern Nazi Party— has actively demonized religious organizations and encouraged a culture of total amorality. Coming out of the cultures of the 1970s and 1980s, this amoralist, atheist society has no connection to the cultural history of human civilization writ large.
Americans, by and large, are so totally distracted by the high volume of information being churned out by corporate media and the US entertainment industry that they have lost all sense of where they are in the planetary culture. They, not even the surveillance state, the Deep State, or the Pentagon-run oversight groups who believe that they have a handle on the situation, understand where the USA sits in the global order.
This is because the entire Anglosphere— the entire English-speaking world, all people who speak English— has been compromised by the wokist agenda. It is controlled, much like a herd of sheep, by a collection of groups of people in London, Beijing, and Moscow. Americans largely have lost control of the direction of their own society. If they knew any better, they would impeach Biden immediately and then impeach Harris in order to put a Republican in command. The Democrat Party is completely and utterly corrupted, co-opted by Beijing and the WEF global corporate elites.
This insidious influence is made possible by one striking reality: Americans are poor. The US citizens who do have the financial strength to wield international power are either complicit, subservient zealots and patsies of Beijing and the WEF or are quietly hanging on. A scant few, led by Elon Musk and Donald Trump, have been able to push back on the globalist, foreign threats to US sovereignty. Too many of America’s ultra-wealthy are totally enthralled or controlled by China and the WEF.
Why do these people sell themselves out to foreign interests? First, they have little to no understanding of the nature of power and sovereignty. Second, and most critically, they think that by serving the interests and agenda of foreign, non-US people, they are somehow accepted into a global club. They couldn’t be farther from the truth. What people like Gates and Zuckerberg are actually doing is selling out their entire country and compromising the prosperity of the entire planet.
These compromised billionaires and millionaires have been brainwashed, through a variety of techniques and happenstances, some intentional and some simply the outcome of events, into believing that the best way forward is to pursue the transhumanist agenda. This is one of the most despicable, evil ideologies on the planet currently. The aim is principally to depopulate the planet while simultaneously advancing AI, robotics, and advanced clean energy technologies that will together somehow solve the climate change crisis—a problem mainly in the English and Spanish-speaking worlds. The Climate Cult is not a major problem in the Russian language sphere or in the Chinese-speaking world. The people in those worlds are not subjected to the same voracity of green propaganda from what we in the Anglosphere call the radical Left.
What Americans must understand is that the Democrat Party is not a sovereign party— it does not determine its own destiny. The US Democrat Party is a vassal party of the Chinese Communist Party and the WEF. They are totally controlled and manipulated. This includes the entire US mainstream corporate media apparatus. It is not US citizens with the best interest of the USA at heart who are making decisions for the USA.
This must change. US citizens who have the USA’s best interests at heart must always retain control of political positions in the USA.
The US Democrat Party has been consistently enthralled by the Chinese Communist Party, believing that the rise of China has been due to authoritarian-stye one-party governance and a totalitarian-socialist economic model. This could not be farther from the reality. China has risen so quickly because it opened its totalitarian-socialist economic model into a free market capitalist model, with the intentional assistance of the entire global economy towards raising China’s prosperity. Alongside this, Beijing has been extremely protective of its political sovereignty and insistent upon maintaining definitive control over its national political structure. Look at the National People’s Congress— it is all Chinese.
On the other hand, the USA has been completely and totally open in its political model, allowing Islamic extremists like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar to infect its federal legislature and foreign influence to ransack and wreak havoc on its national political culture. Biden, Obama, Pelosi, and many others, especially Democrat Party members, are essentially acting as foreign agents. They have sold out the USA for their own personal financial gain.
This is the key— US citizens are so poor and so amoral that they will do anything for money, even if it means acting against the national interest.
This must change. The USA needs to invest in its own people and its own prosperity!

Fact One: ‘No one has ever proven that human emissions of carbon dioxide drive global warming. But if if could be shown, you’d need to prove that the 97% or emissions that are natural do not drive global warming.’

More information has been uncovered about marijuana farms popping up in Central Maine, and someone needs to explain how nearly 300 of these operations are producing pot that is hitting the streets of New England.
The website, The Maine Wire, has been doing some great work uncovering this situation, and as they peel back the onion, it beckons you to shake your head in confusion and maybe a bit of fear. The people interviewed who have dealt with the Chinese Nationals who own these farms compare them to the Mafia. This is not the influence needed in Central Maine, where the towns are small, as are the law enforcement departments. Chinese foreign nationals are exploiting Maine’s lax marijuana laws, the Biden Administration’s immigration policies, and cheap real estate in rural Maine to grow a fortune using exploited illegal alien laborers. When you read the facts, you wonder how a single “farm” gets the resources needed to operate. These locations do little to disguise their purpose, and these residential neighborhoods must be shocked and disgusted at the little legal support they see to restore their locales’ safety. The properties the Maine Wire has identified account for thousands of acres of land in rural Maine and tens of millions of dollars worth of real estate. Marijuana industry experts said a standard 2,500 square-foot house in Maine could if adequately renovated into a marijuana grow, generate $1 million to $3 million in marijuana per year.
The first question is how 300 non-English-speaking Chinese Nationals purchased these properties for cash. Maine is the “whitest” state in the country. I only say that to indicate this is not a typical scenario of the Pine Tree State. One stipulation we need to make is the legality or illegality of these farms. Marijuana is still illegal on the Federal level, but states like Maine have made it legal for medicinal and now recreational use. In less than ten years, revenue from pot makes it the third-biggest industry in the state. Facts presented by the Maine Wire indicate the bulk of the pot harvested in these sites is leaving the state. That action may make these operations very illegal.
The residential dwellings used are quickly modified after purchase. The electrical systems are upgraded to 300-400 Amp services. A typical home normally has 100-200 Amps delivered to the panel. Next, multiple heat pumps are installed to handle the specific climate conditions needed to grow the pot. Finally, all windows are either boarded up or obscured with opaque linings. These changes should make these homes easy to identify, even for casual people passing by.
This country was built on Capitalism and free enterprise, but not at the expense of safety for the communities that these businesses settle in. These entrepreneurs may be walking a fine line, which must be brought to everyone’s attention. We must ensure that local and state authorities do everything necessary to keep these businesses legal and safe for their neighbors. Homeland Security is aware of the situation and must vet these operators to guarantee they are here legally, abiding by all laws, and paying the appropriate fees and taxes. If these pot producers are allowed to operate, they best be held to the same standards and rules we all are.
This sordid saga is another example of Maine heading in the wrong direction due to poor leadership. This next round of elections is becoming vitally important for more reasons than assuring Joe Biden does not return to office for a second term. The direction of our beloved states hinges on the balance.

Remember when NH Assistant AG Jane Young shook his handcuffed hand before he began his sentence? Remember how Edward Arsenault, the “compliance” officer of the Diocese of Manchester, New Hampshire, was grinning ear to ear?
There have been some strange events documented after Granite Grok published my July 13, 2023 “Sicilian Ceramics, Florida Boys…Monsignor Edward Arsenault” article.
On 14th July, a day later, Edward Arsenault & Francesco Bolognini filed for divorce. A few days later, their Sicilian ceramics business, “Da Franz,” closed down. Francesco Bolognini assigned his half of their One Luxury Condominium’s property over for the paltry sum of $10 to Arsenault. But then, on August 14th, Edward Arsenault was given guardianship of Francesco Bolognini for “Mental health” reasons.
If Edward Arsenault married Francesco Bolognini so the latter could get US citizenship, Arsenault made sure to divorce him before the three-year trigger point for that. Was Arsenault paid to marry Bolognini? Is that how he paid off his restitution to the Diocese of Manchester of almost $300,000?
The story gets stranger. It transpires that Edward Arsenault and Francesco Bolognini got Unit 304 of “One Luxury Condominiums” property in Palm Beach County, Florida, from a Russian — Eduard Kochetov, “a single man” from Samara in Russia — for $10. The date of purchase was June 17, 2022.
Sharing the same address as the Arsenault-Bolognini ceramic business “Da Franz” at 2730 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, is Dylan Levin, who was arrested on a hit and run in 2021 & drug trafficking in 2023. Dylan Levin was involved in the illegal trafficking of snakes discovered in “Operation Viper.”
So Edward Arsenault and Francesco Bolognini got their place in Palm Beach for $10 from a Russian. And then they dissolved their marriage and their business, which was at the same address as that of a man involved in illegal snake trafficking, drug trafficking, and a hit and run.
Add this to the NY Post article in March 2023, and it all starts to reek:
“A defrocked, ex-con priest who was a diocesan spin doctor at the height of the Catholic church’s sex abuse scandal now heads a pair of New York City nonprofits which have raked in millions in taxpayer cash.”
What do NH US Attorney Jane Young and NH Supreme Court Chief Justice/ former NH AG Gordon MacDonald have to say? They are the ones who let Edward Arsenault off easy after no time in prison, a short time in jail, the rest on home confinement, and allowed him to continue “consulting” after sentencing. Not a good look.

Last week, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announced he would not seek reelection in 2024. In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, Manchin explained his reasons for leaving. He starts with a relatively noncontroversial assessment of the problems facing America—rising costs, dangerous drugs crossing the border, a large national debt, unsafe communities, and foreign wars that threaten to pull the United States in.
After some platitudes about these not being “Republican or Democratic challenges” but “American challenges,” Manchin concludes:
There are enough votes in Congress to solve or at least make headway against every one of these problems. A genuine commitment to legislating would put America on firmer footing for the next 20 years. But the Democratic and Republican machines have no interest in solutions. Instead, they stoke outrage because doing so brings them fame and funding.
For that reason, Manchin’s done with Congress. He now plans to travel the country to scope out interest in a movement to “mobilize the middle.”
That has many speculating and worrying that the West Virginia senator intends to run as the Democrat on the so-called unity ticket being organized by the centrist group No Labels.
The group has said Manchin’s announcement took them by surprise, but Manchin has a close relationship with No Labels, and his op-ed struck all the same chords as the group’s so-called common sense agenda.
Centrists like Manchin and No Labels can sound reasonable because they often cite the most pressing problems facing Americans and point out that Congress is entirely unable or unwilling to solve them. That’s all true. But things start falling apart when they try to explain how we got here and the way out.
As Manchin sees it, the American people are unified in their values and beliefs but unfortunately Congress has been taken over by two “extremes” that shun the wants and needs of the American people.
In fact, the reverse is true. The more than three hundred million people in the US have many different beliefs, values, priorities, and interests. Politically, there are American socialists, nationalists, libertarians, progressives, conservatives, liberals, monarchists, anarchists, neoconservatives, etc. And then there are the politically disinterested—the largest group by far.
In contrast, Congress is much more unified than the massive population it claims to represent. Ludwig von Mises, who spent many years studying and analyzing comparative systems of political economy, defined interventionism as the prevailing ideology among the world’s governments.
According to Mises, interventionism creates a mixed economy between socialism and capitalism where the bulk of the government’s actions are isolated interventions. Interventionism is built on the idea that the income and wealth of the population “is a fund that can be freely used” for the improvement of society through targeted interventions.
In other words, interventionism is an ideology whose adherents believe, or pretend to believe, that we are perpetually only a handful of government interventions away from fixing most of our problems.
While Mises was focused on economic policy, his analysis applies well to all kinds of government intervention. And so does his insight that, over time, middle-of-the-road interventionism leads to socialism—where the government effectively controls all production.
Mises details how, time and again, government interventions are implemented despite warnings from economists that terrible consequences will result. Then, when those terrible consequences inevitably arise, the government uses them to justify more interventions that themselves have terrible consequences, which are used to justify even more interventions, and so on.
The result is a long march toward tyranny. In his book Crisis and Leviathan, Robert Higgs argues this long march can often be sped up by what he calls the ratchet effect. Some interventions lead to a gradual, continuous decrease in living standards—such as the minimum wage or land-conservation laws. But other interventions, like sending newly created money into credit markets or bombing people in foreign countries, can lead to sudden crises like economic depressions or terrorist attacks.
The fear, uncertainty, and destruction caused by these crises make it much easier for governments to justify previously unthinkable levels of intervention, all in the name of addressing an emergency. But, as Higgs demonstrates, the emergency powers seized by the government are rarely rolled back once the crisis dissipates.
This pattern should be familiar to anyone who’s studied American history. Because the political class is made up almost entirely of interventionists. The political establishment is committed to a specific pace by which the government intervenes more and more in the economy. Meanwhile, the two “extremes” in Congress rarely push for anything more than a slight increase or decrease in the rate at which we travel down this same trajectory.
Understanding this dynamic makes the centrist solutions look a bit absurd. The “big spending” Obama Democrats implemented a top marginal tax rate of 39.6 percent, while the “extreme” Trump Republicans imposed a top marginal rate of 37.0 percent. Are our economic problems solved or at least greatly diminished if a centrist Unity ticket can split the difference and usher in a 38.3 percent rate?
Similarly, the apparently far-right House proposed a $14.3 billion aid package to Israel. The Democrats instead wanted $10.0 billion. Is the key to peace in the Middle East really as simple as “mobilizing the middle” to send $12.1 billion instead?
Centrists like Joe Manchin and his friends at No Labels are right about many of the most pressing problems facing Americans. But they’re wrong to blame extremism and dissent within Congress. The infighting in Washington, while nasty, is largely a sham. The two parties remain unified behind the same destructive ideology—interventionism. If we keep trying the same thing, how can we expect different results?

Discussing Hillary’s illegal email server was election interference, but indicting Donald Trump is not. The Hunter Biden Laptop story was also election interference quickly “debunked” by scores of experts whose commentary had all the hallmarks of an American Disinformation campaign.
A quick hop in the not-so-way-back machine reveals the evidence.
More than 50 former senior intelligence officials have signed on to a letter outlining their belief that the recent disclosure of emails allegedly belonging to Joe Biden’s son “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
The letter, signed on Monday, centers around a batch of documents released by the New York Post last week that purport to tie the Democratic nominee to his son Hunter’s business dealings. Under the banner headline “Biden Secret E-mails,” the Post reported it was given a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive by President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who said he got it from a Mac shop owner in Delaware who also alerted the FBI.
The Hunter Laptop has since been “officially” determined to be genuine, as is all the Biden family dirt it contains, but these are details that have yet to be approved by the council of mainstream media Bishops for public consumption. It is far too sensitive, as is the subject of the “more than 50” intelligence experts whose intelligence should be questioned, if not subject to relentless abuse by the same media. Sorry, that’s not been approved either.

Some of that is broken down into more digestible bits of Biden Family crime and corruption here. But neither this nor the problem of unintelligent experts is required reading for voters. Nor has it pierced the veil of the collective consciousness. Most no nothing (John Snow) of the fraud contained nor the fraud perpetrated to interfere in a presidential election.
A significant proportion of Biden voters have said they’d not have voted had they known. This does not appear to have translated to 2024, at least not yet.
Given the battle at hand and the likelihood of vote-flipping software, ballot-box stuffing, and other foolishness, might itnot be advantageous to remind people that the swamp is full of dirty liars and they’ll do or say anything to protect their monopoly on power?
A power that permits what Hunter Biden and the Biden crime family have done and gotten away with little fear of consequence.

A bevy of climate and environmental organizations rallied behind Mayor Miro Weinberger yesterday in support of a Carbon Pollution Fee Ordinance going before the City Council next week.
The upfront fee would start at $150/ton of the project’s lifetime carbon emissions and rise with inflation.
If enacted, Burlington “would for the first time in state history implement a science-based carbon fee on pollution from fossil fuels,” a statement issued by the Mayor’s office yesterday said. The fee would be assessed on heating and thermal systems in new construction and large existing commercial buildings if the property owner does not install a renewable system – builders and owners can avoid the fee by using electric and other high-performance cost-competitive modern technologies.
The Carbon Fee Ordinance was introduced initially by Councilor Ben Traverse (D-Ward 5), Chair of the Ordinance Committee, and Councilor Mark Barlow, Chair of the Transportation, Energy and Utilities (TEUC) Committee. The Ordinance was reviewed and approved by both Committees and is on the agenda for full Council action on November 20.
“Implementation of the Carbon Fee Ordinance is a big step forward towards our prioritizing clean energy and reducing Burlington’s greenhouse gas emissions,” said Traverse.
Weinberger first proposed a building electrification and carbon pricing policy in October 2020, and the City determined that implementing it would require a charter change. Voters approved the charter change proposal at Town Meeting Day 2021 with about 65 percent voting in favor.
The Legislature then passed H. 448 which Gov. Phil Scott signed on April 20, 2022. The Charter Change required subsequent approval by voters prior to implementing the carbon fee, and Burlington voters approved Question 2 at Town Meeting Day 2023 with over 67 percent of the vote.
The initial carbon fee for non-compliant buildings would be set at $150 per ton, and would be charged upfront at the time of permit based on the expected lifetime emissions output of the system being installed. The fee price will rise annually with inflation. Proceeds from the fee will support low-income residents in accessing clean heating technologies.
Organizations supporting the ordinance with Weinberger today included Renewable Energy Vermont, VPIRG, and the Vermont Natural Resources Council.
As described in a December 5 Burlington Electric Department memo, the fee emulates a current carbon impact assessment now in place in New York City:
We propose the fee would start at $150 per ton of greenhouse gas emissions, for permit applications starting in 2024. It would increase annually at the rate of inflation but limited to no more than a 5 percent increase in any given year.
The fee would be assessed based on a net present value calculation of the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions that would be produced by the thermal system over its lifetime and charged upfront at the time of permit.
The goal would be to level the playing field for renewable technologies and represent the full societal, health, and environmental cost of the carbon pollution of the fossil fuel system.
We note that some cities are using higher carbon alternative compliance fees in their thermal sector policies. New York is using $268 per ton, and Boston is using $234 per ton. On the other hand, Vermont’s Climate Council has looked at analysis suggesting $128 per ton for use as a social cost of carbon in Vermont.
