More Disinformation From NH-NeverTrumpJournal

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 22:30 +0000

The mantra from NeverTrump and the GOP-Establishment is that those stupid GOP voters are ruining  what would be a monumental red wave by nominating “low quality candidates.”

Of course, “low quality candidates” is a euphemism for America-First candidates who represent the voters as opposed to milquetoast RINOs who kowtow to the donor class.

Check out this disinformation from NH-NeverTrumpJournal:

Palin lost because there were two candidates running as Republicans, versus only one Democrat. The other GOP candidate was an Establishment candidate whose evident mission was to prevent Palin from winning. Many of his voters failed to make Palin their second choice or even chose Peltola. He intends to run again in the general.

RINO Report Round Up – The Good, the Bad, and Sample Ballots

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 21:00 +0000

I have examined the voting records of every Rep to objectively determine who are the RINOs (Republicans In Name Only). I looked at every vote in the last 10 years. Votes when (a majority of) Democrats and (a majority of) Republicans vote the same are ignored.

When a Republican votes with Democrats against Republicans that is a RINO vote. The worst RINOs voted badly more than 80 times; the best Republicans voted badly fewer than 10 times.

We want to thank Spe Bowers for this Press Release. Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.

Based on their voting records – some very bad, some very good – these are my recommendations for voting in the primary.

Belknap county Alton, Barnstead (District 7)

Paul Terry has an excellent record, better than 95% of all Reps.

Meet Stephen Scaer, Candidate for NH Senate, Nashua

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 19:30 +0000

My name is Stephen Scaer, and I am running for the NH State Senate in District 13, which encompasses Nashua Wards 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9. I have lived in Nashua for 28 years.

My wife Beth and I have raised two daughters, one who graduated from Nashua High South and the other from the Academy for Science and Design charter school. I am asking for your vote in the September 13 primary and the November 8 general elections.

I’m a pro-life candidate who will fight for school choice, for Second Amendment rights, and for limited government. I’m an advocate for protecting gender-confused children from puberty blockers, wrong-sex hormones, and disfiguring surgeries, and I often take to the sidewalk to talk about the dangers of medicalizing children.

I’ve worked with men and women across the political spectrum to post billboard messages promoting the book “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters” and I collaborated with feminists to post a billboard message defining women as human females.

The First Amendment

We are losing our rights to freedom of speech, religion, and assembly to gender ideology and critical theory. Gender identity laws are being used to compel speech by forcing teachers, students, and public employees to use preferred pronouns. This year the NH legislature considered a bill that would have forced even staff and students at religious schools to pretend girls are boys if they say so.

The Second Amendment

The response to riots in progressive cities demonstrates that we can’t rely on our officials to protect our lives and property, and even recent history shows us how much powerful governments despise unarmed populations. The Second Amendment is as important as ever.

Kids Need Their Moms and Dads

As President Barack Obama said in his Fathers’ Day speech, “Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives, we are reminded today that family is the most important. And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation.”

Although no family is perfect and tragedies often separate children from their moms and dads, we know children with their own dads at home have much lower rates of mental illness, addiction, homelessness, addiction, and suicide. We need to create policies that encourage dads to stay involved in their children’s lives.

Educational Freedom

Children in low-income neighborhoods are often trapped in dangerous, underperforming public schools, while the wealthy congregate in exclusive neighborhoods and towns with top-ranked schools or send their children to expensive private schools. That’s not right. Moms and dads are the most qualified to find schools that meet their children’s needs and interests.

You can learn more about me at my campaign website at stephen4nh.com.

Say Hello to the Climate Change Police Force.

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 18:00 +0000

Australia’s obsession with wind and solar has it looking to burn MORE coal alongside “green” over-achiever Germany, which is looking to burn coal and ration electricity. So, what does France do? They announce a force of 3000 Climate storm troopers.

Related: Winter is Coming: Is It Time for New England to “Pay” the Green Energy Piper?

In an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche, “Faced with this, we must improve the work of judicial investigation,” Darmanin said. “We have therefore decided to massively reinforce the resources of the Central Office for the Fight against Damage to the Environment and to launch 3,000 ‘green police’ posts.”

He continued, saying that the climate change police force “will be a revolution.”

France. Revolution. I might have picked different words. And I’m not so sure it’s a good idea. The French military might have a reputation for folding like a cheap tent, but the rank-and-file workaday French are feisty as hell.

Do you recall what happened when Macron hiked the fuel taxes to save the environment? The Yellow Vest Movement.

“…the so-called “yellow vest” movement, which has grown out of anger over rising fuel prices, is planning a major operation on Saturday that they hope will ring the French capital to a standstill. … Some 175,000 people have signalled they are interested in going to the event.

On Saturday the yellow vests organised approximately 2,000 roadblocks, rallies and traffic slowdowns in France to highlight their anger with President Emmanuel Macron’s government over increases in taxes on fuel and their general loss of spending power.

That went on for weeks, maybe months, until ‘France’ folded, so what response can we expect when the French Climate Stasi start making a public nuisance of themselves across the land of the Franks?

I’m not sure, but if there’s still a thing called popcorn and we can find some, it might be worth having on hand. Assuming there is electricity and our climate, cops haven’t confiscated your appliances and anything combustible because it is not earth friendly.

The featured Image is royalty-free stock and not what the climate troopers will look like (or maybe it is?).

I support Michael Yakubovich for State Senate District 16

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 16:30 +0000

I support Michael Yakubovich for State Senate District 16, which covers Goffstown, Hooksett, Raymond, Candia, and Manchester ward 1. His opponent, Barbara Griffin, is sending out misleading, negative, dirty, and disgusting postcards.

One postcard said Michael Yakubovich voted once in the Democratic primary for Hillary or Bernie. She is on the House Election Law Committee, how does she know who Michael Yakubovich voted for? The ballot is private. So I hope. Prior to Barbara switching parties in 2014 from Democrat to Republican to win her State Representative race in Goffstown, Barbara voted most of her life as a Democrat. For year after year, decade after decade, she was a Democrat.

One of Barbara’s postcards talked about Michael Yakubovich letting criminals out of jail because he voted to kill HB 1476, a bail reform bill. I was a sponsor of that bill, and Michael Yakubovich and I believe criminals that need to be jailed should be jailed.

Sadly with many amendments to HB 1476, the Senate killed the bill because the amendments caused major Constitutional issues, and it would have locked up people for non-jailable offenses. I told the prime sponsor that I cannot support the bill anymore and Michael Yakubovich, myself, and many others voted to kill this bad bill. She voted for a bill that had major Constitutional issues.

One positive thing I will say about the postcards is they use a good picture of Michael Yakubovich, who I support for the State Senate. Why all the negative, misleading, dirty, and disgusting postcards? I will tell you why. Voters want to vote for a winner, and Michael Yakubovich is a winner. She is scared and knows Michael Yakubovich is the better candidate, so she hopes negative will help.

I support Michael Yakubovich because he knows what less government means, what the Second Amendment means, what the American Dream means, and what the Constitution means. Michael Yakubovich lived under Communism as a child. He understands.

Who do I want in Concord as my State Senator? Michael Yakubovich. He doesn’t send out negative, misleading, dirty, and disgusting postcards like his opponent. He tells what he will do as your next State Senator. Sadly, his opponent is getting bad advice and not telling the good she would do and hopes negative, misleading, dirty, disgusting postcards will get her votes.

I ask that the voters that trusted me for 12 years as their State Representative to please trust me once again and never reward lying, negative postcards. Vote like I will on September 13. Vote Michael Yakubovich for State Senate.

Representative John Burt
Goffstown, Weare, Deering

Biden Wants to “Fund” the Police…Bullcrap

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 15:00 +0000

This President stood before a group of nodding sheeple and said the Democrats are the Party of Law and Order. This President has been lying to America since he took the oath on January 20, 2021 but this is insulting.

That is what this unifying President has been for nearly two years. Divide, Insult and lie is the code of this individual and his Party. If this clown, and I apologize for using that description of our President but he insults the office, was concerned about law and order, he could have put funding for Police and Border Patrol into his Inflation Reduction Act instead of 87,000 new IRS agents.

In his latest speeches, where he blasts and defames all Republicans as one, he spreads the mistruth that all Republicans voted against funding the police. This claim is not even a stretch of the truth but an outright lie.

There was a provision for police funding buried in the Build Back Better Bill that could not even get the approval of all Democrat Senators. The BBB Bill was a $3 Trillion fiasco that would have been a boon for the Green Energy sector and Inflation. Just what Americans need right now is more debt and higher prices.

Biden is flooding the airwaves and will give the nation a prime-time address on Thursday night. This address should be a paid political ad and not a Presidential address to the country. Biden is trying desperately to resurrect his approval ratings before the midterms. To achieve this, Biden is going on the attack of Conservative Americans. Some say this is Biden’s Deplorable Moment and will backfire on the old, feeble politician.

Biden forgot that over seventy million Americans voted for Donald Trump in 2020. His attacks and rhetoric are stirring them even more than the Democrats he hopes to motivate. Joe apparently learned nothing from Hillary Clinton and her untimely comment that may have doomed her election. Or he cannot remember any events that happened a few short years ago.

Joe’s new love of the police would be comical if it were not so heartbreaking. Crime rates have been skyrocketing in the last two years due to the defunding of police at the hands of radical Left mayors and governors. If you look at the top ten cities showing increases in crime, all of them have a predominantly Democrat leadership, including the District Attorneys. No cash bail and the proliferation of repeat offenders walking the streets are quickly killing these once great cities.

Along with the police, Joe Biden is further harming our safety and national security by leaving our Southern Border wide open. His administration can claim to the high heaven that the Border is secure, but the facts speak for themselves. Over two million unvetted illegal aliens have entered our country in two years, and we have lost over 200,000 Americans to fentanyl simultaneously. Joe Biden has destroyed the safety of America, and he can give all the speeches he can schedule, it will not change the truth.

Would It Sort Of, Kind Of, Suck If That Facemask You Forced People to Wear Gave Them Cancer?

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 13:30 +0000

There is a growing pile of research on how face masks are ineffective against flu, become easily contaminated (to the detriment of the user), may exacerbate odds of transmission (the opposite of the stated purpose), serve almost no medical benefit, and may cause serious harm to the wearer.

A number of physical complications can result from even short-term use of medical masks. Hypoxia and co2 poisoning are but two of the more common dilemmas. Inhaled fibers can result in chronic or terminal lung disease.

Related: Top Health Officials in Europe: “Masks Aren’t Helpful in Beating COVID-19”

And then there’s the fact that every time I write the word face mask, I hear Tony Fauci say it in that weird little gravely accent of his.

Masks.

And now, new research suggests an increased risk of cancer from wearing them.

Although titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a suspected human carcinogen when inhaled, fiber-grade TiO2 (nano)particles were demonstrated in synthetic textile fibers of face masks intended for the general public. STEM-EDX analysis on sections of a variety of single use and reusable face masks visualized agglomerated near-spherical TiO2 particles in non-woven fabrics, polyester, polyamide and bi-component fibers.

The authors of this paper are not your typical highly credentialed medical professionals with years of experience who happen to disagree with the Public Health Industrial Complex. Their abstract states,  “The importance of wearing face masks against COVID-19 is unquestionable.”

But mask wearing is not just questionable; it is suspect, even by the NIH, CDC, and WHO, so I imagine an earnest discussion about publishing science that could end not just their grants but conjure up a mob led by lab-coat-wearing “experts” come to excommunicate them from their profession.

Deniers!

We need to give them something, they said. Let’s say masks are indispensable. That should do it. And then we get into the whole, could cause cancer thing.

Even so, these results urge for in depth research of (nano)technology applications in textiles to avoid possible future consequences caused by a poorly regulated use and to implement regulatory standards phasing out or limiting the amount of TiO2 particles, following the safe-by-design principle.

You can crawl through the jargon here, but the verdict is this. About 70% of all face masks – and who wants to bet 100% of them from China have “TiO2 in quantities ranging from 100 to 2000 mg kg−12. ”

In addition, to introduce new solutions to the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, textile companies are incorporating specific nanofiber, nanocomposite and nanoparticle technology into face masks5,6. Nanofibers containing TiO2 nanoparticles have been produced to create antimicrobial filters7, also in combination with silver8 and graphene9.

Nearly three-quarters of all facemasks will likely have some quantity of potentially cancerous nanoparticles that could be inhaled during use.

Reusing or constantly touching or adjusting that mask, or taking it on and off, say, in a pandemic-era restaurant experience, would likely increase the odds these particles get inhaled. Inhale enough of them, and you increase the risk of cancer.

Two points in closing.

The experts forced kids who were not a vector for the Wuhan Flu to wear these things all day. I understand that medical professionals are required to discard and replace them if touched after being placed over the mouth and nose. Children fidget with them all day.

Next, the potential cancer risk from PFAS in a few local water supplies was enough to produce public outrage and legislation to test and filter everyone’s water statewide.

Before you mandate them again, what are you prepared to do about the potential cancer risk posed by 70% of all facemasks?

George Hansel Is A Fascist

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 12:00 +0000

I am using the term “fascist” in its incorrect, contemporary meaning … not its true meaning, which is the Italian, principally Gentile and Mussolini, implementation of Marxism. George Hansel is a fascist because he supports the FBI, which has become a political-police force whose mission is keep the Left in political power. Hansel either does not understand this or does not care:

Treating parents who attend school board meetings to oppose CRT as domestic terrorists is “fighting crime”? Colluding with Big Tech to censor the Hunter Biden laptop is “fighting crime”? In case Hansel cares about the facts … which I doubt … here is a Federalist article detailing the “irredeemable corruption” at the FBI.

The FBI cannot be reformed. The rot is too pervasive. It must be disbanded and its responsibilities … actual responsibilities, not its political jihads … reassigned to other law enforcement agencies.

Don Bolduc Still Has 21-Point Lead on Chuck Morse in Latest UNH Senate Primary Poll

Granite Grok - Thu, 2022-09-01 01:30 +0000

Don Bolduc has been running for this seat for years. He ran against Shaheen but lost in the primary. After Shaheen won re-election, Bolduc announced he would challenge Hassan in 2022. His closest primary challenge Chuck Morse jumped in only recently.

Morse only announced because NH’s ‘Five Families’ knew they couldn’t control Bolduc, so Chuck got picked to throw whatever he tossed into the ring. The GOPe checkbook, if I had to guess.

And trust me when I say this; if the polling holds and the General moves on the General Election, while the typical pantheon of Republican NH donors probably won’t get in the General’s way, they won’t be helping either.

Comments like “we will support all the primary winners in the general election” don’t mean squat.

And Bolduc will need money to get on TV. It will be hard to come by from that lot if true to form.

The General is the sort of guy who takes oaths of office seriously, and as much as they GOPe would like to pluck Democrat Maggie Hassan off the DC teat, the small (r) republican money-people don’t like that. They would rather have Hassan than someone like Don Bolduc.

It’s just a fact.

And while we can’t do much about that, we can ensure that Gen. Don Bolduc’s commanding lead in the latest UNH poll turns into victory in two weeks and in November.

And yes, that 20% undecided could make this a more interesting race than the headline indicates, and yes, all the other candidates plus the undecided have less total support than Bolduc.

So, who is taking voters from whom? I know my mind; your thoughts below, please.

Defund Was Never About Fewer Cops It was About Nationalizing Local Police

Granite Grok - Wed, 2022-08-31 22:30 +0000

If you nod your head after reading that headline, you are probably a regular reader of these pages. We’ve discussed the Left’s mission to nationalize local police for nearly a decade. So, will BLM be pissed, or are they in on it?

The Defund police movement was embraced by Democrats, water-carriers, and continues to appear on the demand lists of Black Lives Matters groups, both local and national. But it was never about police brutality or replacing cops with social workers. A kinder, gentler institution was never on the horizon.

The plan was and is to undermine local policing, not beholden to national interests. To create local outrage and demands for more cops – the response to which is more police funded and controlled by DC.

You can’t have a proper police state if the “police” do not answer to the National government.

Back in the day, when Obama handed out buckets of money so local PDs could buy urban assault vehicles, the Left was also capitalizing on any real or imagined scandal involving local cops. Investigate, insist on federal oversight and funding, and tie them up in Federal springs.

The drug overdose death of  George Floyd in police custody was not the scandal it became, but the Left used it and BLM – sorry believers  – is probably in on the scam.

Democrats made America less safe. They defunded local police. Crime skyrocketed. They opened the border to illegals, drug cartels, MS13 gang members, and human trafficking. And having broken it deliberately, they now say they will fix it.

Any large federal package or support to hire, train, and support police officers will be accountable to the strings tied to that money. And all lines lead back to DC.

DC Democrats who vote for or applaud more federal money for policing do not admit they were wrong. They were calculating. This was always the plan. Create chaos, then offer to restore order on their terms. It’s how they work.

They used the useless vaccine for the not-remotely dangerous flu to purge every armed force, from street cops to National Guard to the US military.

It’s not a mistake. It is intentional.

They will try to take over local policing and wrest civilian control from you. The Democrat states and cities will embrace it. Governors like Chris Sununu, who is in love with federal money, will trip over themselves to take it even with the risk that it might abrogate local control to the feds (Chris will, that’s not what will happen). But it has to happen. That’s the point.

Even if you try to pay it back as if they would.

Defunding the police was always about more militarized police. If you didn’t see it coming, we and many others tried to warn you.

Oh, and guess how responsive they will be when you have complaints. Guess whose homes they’ll get to quickly and to whom they may not?

A national police force is a political police force, and if you don’t think that’s dangerous, imagine them answering to your political opponents.

Winter is Coming: Is It Time for New England to “Pay” the Green Energy Piper?

Granite Grok - Wed, 2022-08-31 21:00 +0000

For years we have been writing about how energy policy in New Hampshire and New England was on a crash course with a cold hard reality. This might be the first winter where that is less theory and more truth, and we’re not happy about the “I told you so.”

The Department of Energy recently sent New England governors a letter begging them to increase fuel inventories through all legal measures ahead of winter. According to the data, fuel inventories in the region are running well below average. Now, the region is serving as a cautionary tale for all who seek to abandon fossil fuels.

Read that again. Democrat Energy Secretary Jennifer frikkin’ Granholm warned New England Governors to stockpile “fuel,” and she’s not talking about wind and solar (which you can’t stockpile). She means coal, natural gas, propane, fuel oil, wood,  or the seats in the legislature (which would burn nicely) if the need arose.

That’s not a threat. I am just making a point.

We have had Republican and Democrat governors and legislative majorities while this problem metastasized.

PSNH became Eversource while on an ESG-like binge, forcing electric rates 110 percent.

And now, after nearly a decade (at least) of warnings about inadequate energy infrastructure in the northeast, the Democrat US Energy Secretary of the Go Green Biden Administration is telling us we are in some serious sh!t this winter if we don’t have more fossil fuels.

In other words, it’s beginning to look like Australia and Germany, and it’s not Putin’s fault.

No One Should Be Surprised

I mentioned some ‘Grok coverage of the decline and fall of our energy fortunes. Here’s a short list of recent work on the subject if interested.

It is not a new problem to amateurs like us, so it can’t have been a surprise to whatever passes for the experts. Speaking of which, Germany will be rationing electricity this winter thanks to their experts, one of whom has pre-labeled the people likely to protest that mismanagement as enemies of the state.

Did you get that? Years of bad policy come to their logical conclusion, and if you get mad about no heat or electricity, you might be arrested and imprisoned.

Quick question; Do they have heat at the prison?

New England Grid (lock) on Expansion

The left, with some help, has done all it can to stop natural gas pipelines, power lines, and even hydro (which is natural) got pilloried until the projects were abandoned.

Because of policy choices, the region is largely dependent on foreign imports. The usual suspects are blaming the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine for the pending fuel shortage, but a look at the details reveals that costly regulations and taxes are also to blame for the energy troubles.

Everyone from ISO New England to GraniteGrok has been pointing out how we’ve set ourselves up for failure.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu has been quick to nod his head when people ask about wind farms off the coast while opposing oil or gas drilling in the same areas.

He’s also not been a leader (as far as I can tell) when it comes to infrastructure for energy that’s affordable, abundant, and on-demand – which is what you need throughout a New England winter.

And we appear to be coming up short.

The piper has come to call, and if we’re lucky, no one will have to pay with their life.
