NH Schools Building Psychological Profiles on Children Without Parental Knowledge or Consent

Granite Grok - Mon, 2023-02-27 16:00 +0000

Several years ago a physician from New Hampshire wrote an article in the Wall Street Journal calling attention to the psychological profiles that are now built on children in New Hampshire schools.

Most parents have no idea this is happening in their local public school.

Year after year, mental health data is collected on children, and shared with 3rd party vendors through the Social and Emotional (SEL) software programs.  In addition, some of your child’s mental health information maybe shared with New Hampshire universities.

In the WSJ article, Dr. Cerundolo describes how the medical field is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Schools are governed by FERPA:

under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. FERPA can be more lenient than HIPAA, with allowances made for schools to disclose records without consent for such vague reasons as “legitimate educational interest” or “for audit or evaluation purposes.” HIPAA is more stringent and applies to “covered entities” such as hospitals and insurance companies, which are involved in the delivery and billing of health-care services.”

The weakening to the FERPA law occurred during the Obama administration. This has left student privacy activists alarmed at the massive amount of data that is now being collected and shared on children.

But in 2008 and again in 2011, FERPA was radically revised by the US Department of Education – without any vote or authorization from Congress.

In 2008, the regulations were rewritten to allow states, districts and/or schools to share PII data from student records without parental notice or consent with any third party or company designated as a “school official,” including “contractors, consultants, volunteers, and other parties to whom an educational agency or institution has outsourced institutional services or functions it would otherwise use employees to perform.”

Federal dollars poured into states in an effort to start assessing and treating the mental health of children in our schools. The Feds need some kind of data to justify the federal spending.  How can they gather personal mental health information on children? Many parents would object. However, if they change the federal law governing student privacy, they can exclude notifying parents, and stop requiring their consent. That’s what happened.

Now that the law has been changed, there is one other requirement before conducting research on children. Researchers must seek approval from the Institutional Review Boards. (IRBs). Federal law and the American Psychological Association APA standards require IRB review of all human participant research projects. So how are the universities in New Hampshire gathering all of this mental health data on students without IRB approval? It’s a scheme that is legal, but many would argue unethical.

Call this an external audit instead of a research project, and you get to avoid IRB approval. The universities and school administrators are doing backflips in order to not tell parents what is going on with their children’s mental health data.

Keene State Behavior Health Improvement Institute was awarded the contract from the Department of Education in New Hampshire to gather the mental health data from various schools without parental knowledge or consent. See more about that here. Before Keene State it was Antioch and before that it was Plymouth State. The universities have been collecting this sensitive data for several years without parents knowing that their child’s PII has been shared. In some of these cases, federal law may have been violated leaving some of these schools at risk of a lawsuit.

Currently the PII data is gathered by school counselors and social workers, and sent on to Keene State BHII. This puts school counselors at risk of a parent filing a complaint with their licensing board since school counselors are required to follow a code of ethics when it comes to sharing this sensitive information on children.

Do you get the feeling that this is one big scheme to avoid telling parents that their children’s personal mental health information is now up for grabs? Some of this may be legal, but it’s certainly unethical. How do school administrators respond? I continue to see them year after year hand over the mental health PII without parental knowledge or consent. In other words, they don’t seem to care about the exploitation of children.

You can see my reply to one Superintendent that I contacted to see if they received informed consent by parents before sharing PII. I contacted Superintendents in Governor Wentworth, Hudson, Merrimack Valley, Raymond, Sanborn Regional, SAU 34, and White Mountains. All confirmed that they did not require informed consent before sharing the mental health data on their students. Here was my response to them:

As you can see, school administrators have put school counselors at risk of losing their certification. I would advise parents who find out that their child’s personal mental health information has been shared, file a complaint with The New Hampshire Department of Education. It’s too bad that the fall guy in this situation will be the school counselor, but parents have no other options.

Keene State BHII staff include mental health professionals that know that all of this is unethical. But when I speak to them, they point their finger at the school districts. They say that it’s their responsibility to get informed consent by parents. No one seems to want to protect these children. They are willing to exploit children in order to receive PII and funding.  Keene State BII was hired to fulfill the requirements of the mental health grant. Keep the money flowing at the expense of personal privacy and parental rights.

The people who have worked in the field of psychology know why these ethical practices and boundaries were put in place. They know the history of exploiting human subjects for research. They know that they have an obligation to uphold these practices, but they don’t do it.

How do you trust what is happening in your school? How do you trust mental health professionals working in your school? How do you trust administrators who tell school counselors to ignore their Code of Ethics and share the data? How do you trust any of these people with your children?

Up next? School Based Medical Clinics. They are already in the Manchester Schools. That’s what’s coming next. Be warned.

Fetterman is a Symbol of Political Perversion

Granite Grok - Mon, 2023-02-27 14:30 +0000

To say that the John Fetterman fiasco is corrupt would not be harsh enough. This scenario began when Fetterman entered the Pennsylvania Senate race last year after he had suffered a catastrophic stroke that nearly cost him his life. If there were anyone with a modicum of compassion and common sense in his circle, they never would have subjected him to the rigors of a Senate race. They would have gotten him medical rather than media attention. There is no compassion on the left. There is only a win-at-any-cost mentality and a quest for power.

There are stark similarities between the John Fetterman and Joe Biden stories. Both are suffering from depleted mental capacities. Joe because he is aging poorly and may actually be suffering from dementia. John, because of the massive stroke’s impact on his mind and body. The other is being married to women drunk on power. Instead of loving their husbands and getting them the care they needed, they propped them up and pushed them to victory. Not a win for their state or country, but purely for themselves.

Examine the complexity of the forces behind these two broken men. Biden and Fetterman themselves, if they were cognizant of what was transpiring. Their spouses and families, campaign organizers and workers, donors and the Party, the media, and ultimately the voters who cast their vote for an ideology and not for a person. These two men should be of the utmost competence and character to hold the highest office in the land and to be one of the 100 most influential leaders. These men come up short on both counts.

Both Biden and Fetterman ran their campaigns using the same playbook. Stay out of the spotlight, do not speak to the press, don’t expose your weaknesses or shortcomings, and let the media and Party do your bidding. In the meantime, the media pounced on anyone who drew attention to the fact these two candidates were not thinking clearly. The Fetterman strategy worked perfectly when he did not appear in debate with Dr. Oz until after over one million ballots had been cast. These people voted before they saw what they were voting for.

Joe Biden rarely traveled further than Pennsylvania during the campaign, and he minimized the number of debates with Donald Trump. He stayed as quiet as possible to minimize his blunders. With what we have witnessed in his first two years, many wonder how he could possibly think of running in two years. He will not gain clarity, and the thought of an 86-year-old Biden in the White House is frightening.

The Fetterman situation has gotten worse. The day after the State of the Union, Fetterman checked into the hospital with stroke symptoms. We were told he did not suffer a second stroke, but upon release, he checked himself into the hospital for treatment of severe depression. Fetterman will not resign, and  Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro refuses to remove Fetterman and appoint an interim Senator. The people of Pennsylvania have been duped and only have one active, capable Senator.

This will not have a favorable resolution for anyone, but the voters of Pennsylvania can only look to themselves to blame. Like the voters for Biden, they were fed a false narrative and gobbled it up. We can only hope for better results with Biden in 2024. As for Fetterman, he is Senator until 2028, and who knows, he’ll probably run for re-election, too.

The Morning Mail – Feb 27th 2023

Granite Grok - Mon, 2023-02-27 11:30 +0000

It’s International Protein Day, Breakfast Day, and Polar Bear Day if you think you can fit three of those things into your morning. Is there such a thing as bear bacon (imagine the enviro-wacko reaction to that)?

It is also National Pokemon day, Kahlua Day, and No Brainer Day.

On this Day in 1933, “The Reichstag” was destroyed by fire and blamed on Dutch Communist Marinus van der Lubbe.” Martin Kamen and Sam Ruben discovered carbon-14 (radiocarbon dating) at the University of California Radiation Laboratory in Berkeley, California (1940). General Chiang Kai-shek was elected president of Nationalist China in 1950, and seven years later, Mao (being Mao) gave his famous speech to the Supreme State Conference, “On Correct Handling of Contradictions Among People.”

On this date in 2021, Wikileaks began disclosing 5 million emails from the private intelligence company Stratfor.

What Breeder Has the Best Cannabis Seeds?

Granite Grok - Mon, 2023-02-27 10:30 +0000

The question of who has the superior cannabis seeds has been a contentious topic that has stumped countless cannabis aficionados. The constantly evolving market and divergent opinions from various sources make it a formidable task to distinguish the breeder with the most exceptional seeds.

One of the reasons that make this question thorny to answer is that people have disparate needs. Some favor autoflowering seeds, while others — fancy feminized or regular seeds. Some crave particular strains that are not obtainable elsewhere, while others covet uncommon genetics. Eventually, what constitutes “the best” is a matter of personal taste and varies from individual to individual.

Exploring the Market

To find the best cannabis seeds for sale, you’ll need to invest time and effort in researching and investigating different breeders. Delving into the market is crucial to gather intel on different breeders and what they have on offer. One of the most effective ways to commence your quest is to peruse reviews and ratings of various breeders from dependable sources such as online forums, seed banks, and social media groups.

You can also seek counsel from other cannabis growers and enthusiasts for recommendations, participate in online communities, and attend cannabis-related events to widen your connections and gather more intel. This approach enables you to gain personal experience and insights from people who have already tried and tested various breeders and their products.

At the same time, we’ve plunged headfirst into the fascinating and ever-evolving world of cannabis breeding, and we’ve discovered a handful of breeders that consistently reign supreme. These breeders have worked hard to establish themselves and have built up a well-deserved reputation for crafting strains that are always top-notch — boasting exceptional quality, potency, and dependability.

Barney’s Farm

One of the heavyweights in the industry is Barney’s Farm, a breeder hailing from the Netherlands. With over three decades of experience, they know what it takes to create an exceptional strain. They offer a diverse range of strains, including both classic and modern genetics, catering to all kinds of cannabis enthusiasts. And when it comes to awards, they’ve won a bunch of them, such as the prestigious High Times Cannabis Cup and the Spannabis Champions Cup.

Sensi Seeds

For over three decades, Sensi Seeds has been producing top-notch classic strains that have gained recognition worldwide. From Skunk #1 to Northern Lights and Jack Herer, their strains are some of the most popular and well-loved in the cannabis community. The breeder has earned multiple awards over the years, including the prestigious High Times Cannabis Cup and IC 420 Growers Cup.

Green House Seeds

Green House Seeds has been an influential force in the cannabis breeding industry since the 1990s, crafting some of the most celebrated strains on the market. The likes of Super Lemon Haze, White Widow, and Cheese are just a small sample of their powerfully flavorful creations. They have a steadfast dedication to using only the finest genetics and inventive breeding methods, which have brought them several accolades, including the prestigious High Times Cannabis Cup and Spannabis Champions Cup.

Online Retailer vs. Strain Breeder: Where to Find the Best Cannabis Seeds?
While buying directly from a breeder can sometimes ensure seed quality, it’s not always necessary. Although some cannabis enthusiasts might favor buying directly from breeders to ensure seed quality, there’s no need to do so exclusively. Reputable online shops offer an extensive selection of seeds from diverse breeders, making it simple to find the perfect strain to suit your cultivation requirements.

Herbies is a prime example of an online store that offers a vast range of seeds from various breeders, coupled with their dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and top-quality products. Their wide range of seeds includes classic strains, new genetics, and feminized, autoflowering, and regular seeds.

Choosing the best cannabis seed breeder depends on individual preferences and can be subjective. Nevertheless, by doing thorough research, checking reviews, and getting recommendations from other growers, you can compile a list of the best breeders that fit your needs. And remember: buying seeds directly from breeders isn’t your only option. For example, reputable online stores such as Herbies offer a wide selection of premium seeds that can satisfy even the most discerning growers

Vivek Ramaswamy Presidential Campaign 2/22/23: Question: Last Question – Can We Avoid a National Divorce as We Are More than Our Skin Colors?

Granite Grok - Mon, 2023-02-27 02:30 +0000

Most Americans agree on much – the Left is having us concentrating on, however, the minor “separations”. Why? Agitation, angst, anger, and resentment so as to be able to scapegoat someone or something in order to say THEY/THAT is your problem – and that you are their victim. But we can save you!

And in doing so, presenting a future that has nothing in common with what our Founding Fathers set into motion. There will be no commonality between the Right and the Left, the Collectivists and the “Just obey Constitutional Bounds and Leave Us Alone” Coalition.

The operative question: can that chasm be filled?

NO to Funding the Nashua Downtown Improvement Committee

Granite Grok - Mon, 2023-02-27 01:00 +0000

Nashua Alderman Comeau, Gouveia, and Sullivan recently voted against an ordinance (O-22-019) to fund the Downtown Improvement Committee (DIC). The DIC, in the past, received money from downtown parking revenue.

This source of funding dried up when the Alderman approved the ordinance for extended outdoor dining, closing North and South bound lanes on Main Street, thereby eliminating parking spaces. No parking, no revenue.

The Board has now approved spending $100,000 out of the general fund for the DIC to fund banners, extra street cleaning, Christmas lighting, and a part-time employee tasked to gather downtown dining data.

Taxpayers have been forced to fund the downtown cultural explosion.

The Nashua Center for Arts is costing taxpayers upwards of $2,000,000 per year, which includes the payments on a $21,000,000 bond, a yearly rental fee to the operator of the facility of $500,000 increasing to $750,000, yearly equipment rental fees of approximately $165,000, the yearly property taxes on the building and property insurance. Taxpayers will be responsible for building maintenance beyond custodial work.

What do we get back? The management company must employ people from the local low income neighborhoods because the Board accepted money from a New Market Tax Credit financing program. Additionally, the management company must donate 1500 tickets per year to low income people, provide 1% of the food and beverage sales back to the city and allocate $1.00 from each ticket sold to a building maintenance fund.

It is clear, supporting the Arts requires bundles of tax dollars.

The Board members above believed that the conscious vote to dry up the source of revenue for the DIC should not shift the burden to taxpayers for additional costs, and, this request for money from the general fund should have been vetted through the budget process, not through a special ordinance.

I agree with the Board members who voted no. But I offer another reason to not fund this Committee of the City. They have no public comment policy, do not list public comment on their agendas, and react hostile to public comment. Citizens have no way to communicate with Committee members; the general email address for the committee only reaches Director Cummings and the Chairwoman, who operates like a battle-axe.

All City committees funded with our tax dollars should permit public comment. The Board of Alderman has repeatedly stated that citizens should attend committee meetings to voice their opinions; a useless suggestion when comment isn’t allowed. The Board should legislate a public comment policy. Having only attended three DIC meetings, at all meetings, public comment was not on the agenda. Citizens have to uncomfortably argue with the Chair to attempt to speak. This creates unnecessary acrimony so typical of this City’s stifling of the citizen’s voice. No voice, no money.

Projects like this have created a heavy financial burden to property owners, many of whom will not enjoy the facility because the cost of tickets and an evening out is beyond their budgets.

Thank you Alderman Comeau, Alderman Gouveia, and Alderman Sullivan for the NO vote.

Blogline of the Day: Remember, He Folded Like A Wet Paper Bag When The Left Came After Him

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 23:30 +0000

The character Race Bannon (“Johnny Quest” cartoon series) has shown more courage than him:

ROBERT SPENCER: Mike Pence Seems to Think Being a Conservative Means Letting the Left Get Away With Everything.

If you want solid, stolid, poker-faced, self-righteous impotence and me-tooism, Mike Pence is your man. Solid, stolid Pence reinforced that perception Wednesday when he called out Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) for being so un-conservative as to do something actually to resist the Left and stop it in its tracks. Good, solid, colorless Men of the Right such as Mike Pence just don’t do such things.

Pence as a past and a political track record to compare others against. I have to agree with Spencer on the above – this is not the time for a go-along/get-along guy. Nice guy but these times require a brawler unafraid to take on the Left. Sorry, a Conservative should NEVER be a synonym for Milquetoast. Which he was BIGLEY when he signed his state’s (Indiana) Religious Freedom Restoration Act that protected people of faith in exercising their religious beliefs.

That was good- his prostration in yielding to the Corporate / LGBT Cancel Train was not. It was an utter cave-in to those that would never have voted for him anyways. The corporations that were also starting to become Progressively leaning at that time used their force as well.

The bill was undone.

I don’t see him able to standup to Xi or Putin if he runs for the Presidency.  His past history shows he can’t when it counted.

11-Year-Old Windham, ME Boy Asks His School Board to Stop the Smut

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 22:00 +0000

When a child has to ask an adult to act like an adult, there is a real problem. But that’s what happened with an 11-year-old boy from Windham, ME recently. Make sure you listen to what he says and do not miss his father, who speaks after him.

WARNING: the pornographic content is then shown at the end of the video.

If a child can get up and show this kind of courage, everyone can. Find out if your district allows children to download the SORA app on their digital devices. Find out if your school district is making obscene and pornographic content available for children. This is child sexual abuse, and those who turn a blind eye to it, or even approve should never be in charge of decisions in any school district.

South Park: No, You Can’t Get Pregnant and Have an Abortion Because You’re a Dude

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 20:30 +0000

Heh!  The Trans-Authoritarians are ALL up in arms over a resurfaced clip from South Park showing a man pretending to be a woman that is pregnant and is demanding an abortion.  Yes, this was great commentary back in 2005 about Society starting to have a nervous breakdown. Who knew that what Parents would tell their children “You can be anything you want when you grow up!” would go so wrong so fast and so far?  That males could be women and give birth simply because they said so?

Yes, it IS a delusion and the problem is that this very teeny-tiny percentage of the population not only believes they can be what they aren’t. The worst part is that the Trans-Authoritarians demand that we not just tolerate such nonsense but throw away OUR sense of reality and knowing what a woman is totally out the window of a large skyscraper. And if we don’t, we’re transphobic (as stupid a phobia as there is).

For example:

And from the NY Post:

The doctor then attempts to tell his patient that they are “physically unable to have an abortion because you can’t get pregnant.” Garrison then shouts back: “Don’t you tell me what I can and can’t do with my body! A woman has a right to choose.”

The animated doc then explains the basic birds and bees to Garrison. “You can’t have periods, either. You had a sex change, Mr. Garrison, but you don’t have ovaries or a womb. You don’t produce eggs.”

A disgruntled Garrison then bemoans the possibility that they will never feel what it’s like to have a baby grow inside them — or experience what it’s like to “scramble its brains.”

When the doctor affirms, once again, that Garrison will never experience the full joys of womanhood, Garrison states: “But I paid $5,000 to be a woman. This would mean I’m not really a woman. I’m just a guy with a mutilated penis.”

At the end of the clip, Garrison: “Boy, do I feel like a jackass”.

At least he recognized he isn’t what he can’t be. Seventeen years down the line, however, a lot of these guys have such fragile notions of themselves that they either can’t face others in admitting they are wrong – or harder, can’t face themselves.  There’s a reason why gender dysphoria is considered to be a mental illness and it is now common knowledge that transgender people are FAR more likely to have multiple other mental disorders that make that edge just that much thinner to break.

A lot of folks have said that this is “brutal”. Sometimes, tough love IS brutal because it has to break through that wall of delusion that is thrown up (being the Dad of an addict, his wall of delusion that he didn’t need help was very tough to pierce indeed).  Not accepting his delusion to be mine was part of the cure even though he called me hurtful and uncaring…until he saw I wasn’t, just truthful and honest.

Perhaps instead of going along with this stuff, perhaps more of us should be saying what studies are telling us “stop it – you’ll grow out of it”.

Big Tech DEI is Starting to D.I.E.

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 19:00 +0000

Since the dawning of 2022, the Tech sector has shed over a quarter million jobs (233,000), and the bleeding isn’t about to stop. And while I hate to see folks lose a job, two things about this still amuse me.

First, the unprecedented growth that led to the hiring was the result of tax cuts and economic policy under the mean-tweeter. Donald Trump’s economy broke all the Obama admins self-imposed glass ceilings, fueling record growth and employment in every demographic.

The tech sector, with few exceptions, is a swirling cesspool of progressive poop. It played a huge role in shifting the balance of power to the Left and, with it…what you always get—crapped on.

The second thing is explored in a recent piece at The Daily Wire. Middle managers and staff are always the first to go when tasked with cutting payroll fat. The top and the bottom are considered essential. Everything else is a target-rich environment.

DEI employees have seen an elevated degree of attrition relative to their colleagues since late 2020, with the trend accelerating in the last six months, according to an analysis from Revelio Labs. “Bearing in mind the typically small size of DEI teams,” Revelio said, “these outflows likely amount to the exodus of entire diversity teams.”

More than 300 DEI professionals have left companies such as Amazon, Intel, and Twitter since the middle of last year.

It’s not a big number when you stand it next to 233,000, but most of that dead weight was added in the last few years with salaries and benefits packages that employers don’t mind excising from their payrolls. And absent another George Floys, that honeymoon appears to be over.

Bloated headcounts and excessive compensation have drawn the attention of numerous Silicon Valley investors and hedge fund managers. Children’s Investment Fund Management CEO Christopher Hohn told Google CEO Sundar Pichai that “cost discipline is now required as revenue growth is slowing,” while Altimeter Capital Management CEO Brad Gerstner pressed Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to reverse the “lack of focus and fitness” at the company.

It’ll get worse before it gets better, and again, I’m not applauding their loss of income or lifestyle, but I’ve worked for and run businesses with tight margins. You can bitch about overpaid executives, but they should be doing their part by getting rid of that which does not keep everyone else employed.

Non-productive payroll is a waste of resources. It sucks away money from productive workers and innovators. It is the single biggest problem with rising public education costs (and property taxes in the Granite State). It is also the easiest way to reduce costs without impacting productivity or the product itself.

Big people with big flashlights looking for fast fixes will quickly find themselves wondering why virtue signaling needs to cost so much. They might even notice that it’s become an anchor dragging everyone down with it.

You can’t run a business the way most boards run school districts, and if you truly want education dollars to matter (for supplies and teachers, for example), gut the bloated administrative state from the Superintendent’s office to the schools themselves. A growing part of which are Diversity officers. They are “middle managers,” like the majority of school admin positions, that suck up resources for the purpose of sucking up more resources.

They, too, could face a similar reckoning as they have in big tech if the investors, parents, and taxpayers focus on how much less they are getting for all the extra money the schools are spending.

That’s a big if, and the argument against cuts is that they will hurt students and teachers, but that’s a lie. Cutting unproductive admin overhead frees up money for teachers and teaching. If someone can find a way to message that effectively, you’ll be the tip of any spear in the way against this fiscal and cultural abuse.

The Ghost Of New Hampshire Future Visited On February 23rd

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 17:30 +0000

Are you aware that the Communists … oh, I’m sorry, we’re supposed to pretend that they’re still Democrats … took control of the New Hampshire House for a period of time on February 23rd thanks to NHGOP no-shows? From Judy Aron:

… On Thursday afternoon the House got its first real taste, this session, of what happens when Democrats have a majority in the chamber. Democrats led a direct assault on education freedom and voted to raise New Hampshire energy rates. They did this by removing HB234 and HB430 off the table, when they knew they had the advantage in numbers, and successfully passing both bills. …

HB430 is a bill which attacks the Education Freedom Account Program and will require kids to attend a public school for a year before applying for an EFA. HB234 has to do with how unused Renewable Energy Credits are redeemed, and if the bill is implemented it will make energy costs much higher for NH consumers. … Our only saving grace is that these bills will go to Finance and come back to the House for a second vote. Let’s pray Republicans show up and fight in round 2… otherwise we’ll have to depend upon our Senate and our Governor to save us from bills like this.  …

Okay … but what happens after the 2024 election? When the Governor is Chris Pappas … the Democrats control the House … and the Senate is no longer be controlled by the NHGOP? Rhetorical question, of course, New Hampshire will have a government even more communist than California.

I can anticipate the response from certain commentators … SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP.  And that will be it … no plausible case will be made for how you defeat Pappas or how you stop the Communists from building on the gains made in 2022 as a result of Sun-King’s COVID-policies driving Red voters to leave New Hampshire and Blue voters to come to the State. And of course other commentators will beat the dead horse of …. VOTER FRAUD, VOTER FRAUD, VOTER FRAUD. Voter fraud is how Hassan beat Ayotte by 1,000 votes … it is not how Hassan beat Bolduc by 56,000 votes.

Survival Sunday – PREP Edition

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 16:00 +0000

First, I am merely an “enlightened amateur”.  Please vet & check on your own.  Caveat emptor.  Consider these to be priming the pump for your own investigations.  I know this is a long post; I am attempting to put out a lot of information as a resource.  Read or skip sections depending on your interests.

Second, I fear spicy time is very close, but even a month of food, water, etc., puts you well ahead of most of the sheeple.  IMHO, set your minimum sights on a three-month period.

Third, two things will be critical for having the best chance of making it through:

  1. Mentality: first and foremost in survival is having a flexible mentality and cultivating the ability to adapt. Vanity has no place in survival.
  2. Develop a meatspace network of people that are likeminded: cultivate your community ties and build alliances with neighbors (note: don’t babble about the Jab or globalists or depopulation, or start pointing political fingers when doing this)… and remember, the first rule of PREP CLUB is that there is no prep club.

And please follow both me, Nitzakhon, on Gab… as well as my blog host Granite Grok and also on Telegram Tommy Robinson Official plus his Urban Scoop site.  And don’t forget posts sometimes get cloned on American Reveille as well, which is a good site to check out in general.

FYI, here’s a link to the last SITREP Edition.

Horowitz: Major German paper reveals Pfizer fabricated clinical trials to cover up deaths – Conservative Review

RTWT and understand that the entire thing of “safe and effective” is built on lies.  As if you didn’t know that already.  Particularly telling to me was (bolding added):

“Patient no. 11621327” was more than a mere number. He was a human being found dead from a stroke in his apartment just three days after the second dose. Typically, with a novel product in trial, any death – even one not so sudden – makes the product suspect until it is proven innocent. Yet in this case, Pfizer simply dismissed the death as not related to the vaccine, just as the company did with Patient #11521497, who died 20 days later from cardiac arrest.

If ever a drug needed a Black Boxed Warning, this stuff was it.  E.g., out of the 42,086 Pfizer recipients in the first three months of the trials, 1,223 died.  That’s 2.9%.

If a medication you’re taking carries risk that warrants a black box warning, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you shouldn’t take it. But the risks and benefits of a medication are something your healthcare provider should discuss with you.

And yet it was presented as SAFE AND EFFECTIVE.  And nobody ever really talked to anyone taking it.  I’ve watched, while standing in line for a scrip, people go behind the screen, sit down, the tech goes in with a needle, and nary a word is exchanged.  Some get the Jab and the flu shot at the same time.  And then just stroll out.

A Bowl Of Peanut Oil Catches 7 Mice In 1 Night – Motion Camera Footage

A good friend had some of his preps destroyed by mice.  And not just this… but dead mice, set out, can attract bigger things.   Or, frozen and ground up, serve as plant food as you garden – or into your compost mix.  The uses are endless.

=+=+=

Oddments – random thoughts on prepping:

  1. Keeping in mind limits on funds, storage space, etc., should gas masks be a part of your mix? I have one, with several spare filters. I think I’ll be ordering more this week.
  2. Save rubber bands from vegetable bundles.
  3. I now look at everything with a “how could I use that in a SHTF situation” mentality.
  4. If you have, or are getting, chickens or ducks or any animals – would it be an idea to coordinate with neighbors on breeds so as to, once in a while, exchange and avoid inbreeding possibilities?
  5. The same with plants.  If you have people planting in your network, coordinate species types so that – longer term – you can do seed swaps and reduce inbreeding risks.
  6. I am trying an experiment in salt-drying a few pieces of fish.  In response to an inquiry on Gab about that, I was sent this 1957 article on the topic.  PDF.

I can’t say it too strongly. GET OUT OF “BLUE” BIG CITIES. NOW.

I’ve said many times before that if you value your safety and security, and that of your loved ones, you should get out of big cities, particularly “blue” ones under the control of a left-wing progressive administration.  Again and again I’ve heard replies that it simply isn’t possible, that family ties prevent it, that “I can’t afford it”, and so on.

Well, that’s your call – but the reality of city life is that it’s getting more violent and more dangerous by the day.  No, that’s not an exaggeration.

Short of years and untold wealth, you cannot possibly be fully prepared for everything (I have to keep reminding myself of that).  But even some preparations, ideally at least 90 days of food, water / water purification, etc., puts you head and shoulders in front of the vast majority of the sheeple who will be in jaw-gaping astonishment when the SHTF.  The only relevant questions are:

  1. When does it start?
  2. How bad will it get?
  3. How long will it last?
  4. What will the aftermath look like?

As I point out repeatedly, nobody’s going to be “perfectly” ready.  But having resources put away, a positive & adaptive attitude, will be critical.

Anyone remember the movie Eraser?  How, in the beginning, one of the people in the protection program went back to his favorite restaurant because he was dying for his favorite dish?  Not succumbing to things like that would have to be at the top of the list, along with cutting off all – and I mean ALL – contact with people important in your life.  Practices, too, would have to be severed.  Say you’re a very religious <fill in the blank>… you could never go back to that, at least not where anyone could see you.

Murders in US Are Very Concentrated, and They Are Becoming Even More So

While murders and other violent crime in Los Angeles County and some other major urban areas have spread out to parts of those counties that didn’t previously experience much crime, nationwide murders appear to be coming even more concentrated in a small set of counties. When it comes to murder, there are three types of counties in the United States. Most counties experience no murders, a smaller set where there are a few murders, and then a tiny set of counties where murders are very common. In 2020, 52% of counties (with 10% of the population) had no murders. 68% of counties have no more than one murder, and about 18% of the population. These counties account for only 2.6% of all murders in the country. The worst 1% of counties (the worst 31 counties) have 21% of the population and 42% of the murders. The worst 2% of counties (62 counties) contain 31% of the population and 56% of the murders. The worst 5% of counties contain 47% of the population and account for 73% of murders. But even within those counties, the murders are very heavily concentrated in small areas.

Concluding thoughts if I’m moved to comment:

A recent email from a NH-based reader asks a fundamental question: What happens when, aside from a handful of known-to-us persons, we descend into a zero trust environment.  And I mean zero trust.  Watching with a “stink eye” as you grocery shop, not trusting anyone to stay in their shopping lane.  Being in Cooper’s “Condition Orange” anywhere you go outside your home.  Even being a little jittery (Condition Yellow) inside your home.  E.g., the other day I was working alone as nobody else was home (home office).  Wife at work, kids at school.  And I heard someone on the front steps.  No doorbell ringing, no package left.  Why was someone there at all?  We’re not on a cross-street, there’s no traffic.  A few weeks ago we had a car parked in front of our house at night that, when we came out to look, they tore off.

Consider the spate of “polar bear” and other mob-attacks started with incredible ferocity right from the get-go by persons of a particular demographic.  Now let me be clear: while that demographic has a massive chip on their shoulder, it’s not every single one.  But be that as it may – words are meaningless, even actions are suspect, but patterns are key.  With regret at the necessity, it is patterns that we see that we must heed.

But this is broader than that.  This is about, literally, being suspicious of everyone we meet.  Not trusting the police to do their jobs professionally, but – as in so many countries around the world – wondering who is on the take, or what cops will do what’s RIGHT vs. who will just follow orders.  Same for the fire department; can you really count on them to come?  Can you – especially in light of the Covid fusterclark and Jab drive – really trust doctors and nurses to do what’s best for you as a patient, or what’s best for their and/or their hospital’s bottom line?  (Cough Ventilators and Run-Death-Is-Near cough.)

Can you trust that the pilot of the plane is truly fit to fly?  There are concerns being voiced about cardiac patterns in Jabbed pilots that should keep them grounded.  Can you trust that the pharmacist will not turn you in for getting an Ivermectin prescription?  Can you trust that the schools will not force-vaccinate your kids, even though you’ve told them in writing with an acknowledgement from them to not do so?  Let alone the WOKE sh*t they’re pushing into ever-younger minds against your own beliefs and practices.  (I’d home school but the wife won’t help.  Ironically, she sees nothing wrong or approaching despite her being brought up in, and living through, the USSR’s collapse.)

And as you attempt to ping your neighbors for community groups and possibly prep-minded people, can you trust them to not rat you out the moment the government puts a bounty on people who might be “hoarders” and thus have extra stuff that needs to be forcibly shared?

I have a good Marine friend; he’s told me that I’m one of the few people in this world that he’d trust with a gun behind him in a SHTF situation.  A deep honor.  Likewise.  Alas that he’s hours away.

In a zero-trust world, everyone is a potential enemy until proven otherwise.  Every noise a possible attacker coming.  Every traffic encounter a possible fight or gun-fight.  How many will have the resiliency to cope with that?  Or will they, as the chaos of that inevitably uncoils and strikes our collective society, be willing to throw freedom itself at the feet of those who – offering stability and some form of normalcy – put forth the hand of Socialism?  Having deliberately engineered that zero-trust world for precisely that purpose…

Vivek Ramaswamy Presidential Campaign 2/22/23: Question: Affirmative Actions and applying Civil Rights universally. Dealing with China?

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 14:30 +0000

E Pluribus Unum; one of our Nation’s mottos meaning “Out of Many, One”. We started out as a nation of immigrants from various lands, ethnicities, and social norms – the “Many”. As has been stated over our history by multitudes of people stated bazillion times, our nation is unlike any other in that we were not founded on a geographical location and a set of people but by political/philosophical ideas that were to unite us as well – the “One”.

Sadly, during the last century (and accelerating during this one), we are dividing ourselves back to the many – the Left is accomplishing a Balkanization of America by creating one small “special set” of people after another. Sounding grand, trying to right past wrongs, the notion of “protected classes” of people by attributes (nationality, ethnicity, skin color, age, sexuality, identity, and race among others) is now being used as a tool to separate us all.

The tribalism that existed in the “Old Countries” from where we came from is now being brought back to haunt us socially. The Left is now using those artificial differences to set ourselves against each other.

This video is what Vivek thinks about it.

Vivek spent a lot of time talking about China during the event and it was reemphasized by another questioner. What is China’s end goals, what are the dangers, and what should the US be doing about it?

A Flame Has Been Lit

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 13:00 +0000

And this flame needs to be fanned. It needs to be encouraged and allowed to spread. We are not talking about a brush or forest fire. We are not talking about a chemical fire. We are talking about a spiritual resurgence driven by young college students, and it is taking on a life of its own.

I touched on the revival at Asbury University in an earlier article, but it deserves a deeper dive into the movement spreading across the country. My writing today is not a story about civil disobedience that we have become used to expecting. This story is about singing, praying, and surrendering oneself to Christ in round-the-clock revivals. This is a truly amazing phenomenon.

The gathering at Asbury University is not the first in the institution’s history. On February 3, 1970, a religious service morphed into a revival that lasted 144 hours. The current revival had a simple beginning on February 8th. After a regularly scheduled service, a group of about twenty students lingered and continued to sing and pray for each other. As the hours passed, other students heard the music and payers coming from the hall, and they stopped and joined in. The crowd soon swelled and occupied every one of the 1,500 folding chairs, and people stood around the hall and filled the balconies. They were not just observers but became active worshipers. Over the next two weeks, over 50,000 people will have come to Asbury to be a part of a modern religious phenomenon.

Not to mimic Asbury, but occurring organically, there are similar services at many other colleges around the country, including Samford University, Lee University, and Cedarville University. The core of this movement, both its leadership and target audience, is the Gen Z students who have been present since the beginning. Unlike many of the Gen-Z generation who live on Instagram and TikTok, this group has been turning away the media and keeping the event low-key and low-tech. Tucker Carlson of FOXNews had requested to attend and was asked not to come to Asbury. This is not a political event, and they did not want to distort the serenity of the gathering with the presence of high-profile media personalities.

Professional revivalists and Christian celebrities have been welcomed but have not been given a platform. The student leaders have done nothing to disrupt or corrupt the event. This event has no props. There are no special lights, video presentations, or planned offerings. This is purely between the worshipers and Jesus.

Students who have been interviewed outside of the hall are overcome with emotions. They genuinely feel they have been changed by being a part of the service. It is hard to define a word to describe what is happening. It is not an event, service, revival, or any other term used to describe something planned. This has mushroomed from two dozen kids who went to a service and needed something more. They found it in Kentucky, and the world has taken notice. This Asbury Revival is a movement we can hope is not a one-and-done.

The Morning Mail – Feb 26, 2023

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 11:30 +0000

On this day in 1616, “the Roman Inquisition delivered an injunction to Galileo demanding he abandon his belief in heliocentrism, which states the Earth and planets revolve around the Sun.”

The Bank of England issues its first 1£ note (1717).  “Dixie Jazz Band One Step” and “Livery Stable Blues” by Original Dixieland Jass Band for the Victor Talking Machine Company were first recorded in 1917. And “RADAR (Radio Detection and Ranging) was first demonstrated by Robert Watson-Watt (1935).

It is also national Pistachio day, Carpe Diem day, Carnival Day, Kuwait Liberation Day, Tell a Fairy Tale Day (for Joe Biden, that’s every day), and it’s For Pete’s Sake Day (a celebration of ‘minced oaths.’

It’s also Black Lives Matter Day, but that needs its own post.

Vivek Ramaswamy Presidential Campaign 2/22/23: Question: Thoughts on having an Article V Convention? World Economic Forum / Davos Relationship??

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 02:30 +0000

Article V: The US Constitution provides for two ways to change itself – the traditional path through Congress and then to the States for ratification and an Article V Convention driven by people up through the States.

Utilizing the other process, Article V, has been a bone of contention for years between those that state:

“we need to fix this or these other problems and only an Amendment to the Constitution can make it happen”

and those that say

“you MIGHT get your vision but others could hijack it for THEIR vision (which may well be repugnant and counter to yours”.

So, given that this is a “thing” here in NH as well as in other states that would affect the nation as a whole, another “wonky” (meaning “good but far too many people have been failed by the Public Education machine to even know what it is”) question was asked of Vivek to see what he thought.

I was surprised at the answer and the reasoning behind it!

Relationship with the WEF (World Economic Forum / Klaus Schwab / Davos (as in “You will own nothing and be happy”)?

Scuttlebutt is bubbling up that he is part of the WEF (World Economic Forum) / Davos Man / Young Globalist Leader (see my “rant” below) – and someone asked about it right away at his event on Wednesday.

While Drew asked the first set of questions, he decided to open up that questioning to the audience (over 105 as I counted them). I’ll tell you, they were excellent ones – interesting and “deep” questions that did NOT lend themselves to easy answers or a mere soundbite or two.  I DO have to admit that since my camera was plugged into the main soundboard and there was no “traveling mic” for questioners to use, I’ve had to reverse-engineer the questions, including this one, from the answer that was given.

I put it up because the Left has already begun to do their early “knock down hoping for a knockout against all three announced candidates: Trump, Nikki Haley, and Vivek.  Trump is Trump and we’ve been listening to their antics and actions for years.

Extended Sidenote because it’s needful and fits:

ONE thing that is clear is that the Left/Democrats are showing us that with these “brown skinned” Conservatives announcing, their vapid “word violence” is spewing like the fleet of snow guns on Gunstock Mountain on a cold, clear night – full capacity flooding the air. The problem in this case, instead of the white-driven snow, all we see is vile invectives polluting the air.

For all their vaunted calls of and for “Diversity”, this campaign will put a lie to that mantra, well, right from the get-go.  For all of the calls that the Right hates brown and black people, we’re seeing it from the Left in real-time – with no sense of self-realization that they are putting themselves on display.  Calls of “race traitors” are already in the area, that they are “white supremacists” in brown (or if you take US Senator Tim Scott who is rumored to be thinking about entering the race) or black outsides, one thing becomes clear…

“Racism!” used by the Left isn’t about racism at all – its just another cudgel in their “thief bag” to use against anyone that stands against them.  Period. It comes down to this:

ANY minority person that refuses to tow the line of “their Democrat Master’s words or commands” will be punished to be brought back to the plantation.

Remember, it was the Southern Democrats that bought and sold the slaves in large numbers for their plantations. It was the Democrats that seceded from the South. It was the Democrats that created the Jim Crow laws to punish those now freed blacks. It was the Democrats that kept segregation going through most of the last century trying to continue the punishment and deny them all their freedoms.  It was the Democrats that voted against the Civil Rights Law that, in a large part, restored those rights (with Republicans voting for it).

And it is the Democrats that continue to believe that all blacks belong to them from an intellectual and ideological basis – where do you think the phrase “race traitor” came from?  And it is the Democrats that decide that any non-white minority (black, hispanic, or asian) were also theirs (yep, with no vote at all – as if they were all slaves to be politically owned; again, it is not the Right that generally uses “race traitor”, correct?).

It all comes down to this: while they decry others of being guilty of “discrimination” based on skin color, they themselves believe they can use it wildly as a political tool.

And suffer no to little harm in doing so.

You see, they have no shame. The only thing that DOES bring shame to them is allowing someone, ANYONE, to keep their self-righteous sense of “It’s OUR Power to wield, not anyone else!” entitlement.

Modern American Oligarchs Should Heed the Message in Clinton ‘Advisor’ “Mark Middleton’s “Suicide”

Granite Grok - Sun, 2023-02-26 01:00 +0000

There’s this idea that the people with real power will have some use for you if you help them establish a Centrally Planned semi-socialist (or wholly Marxist) America. A front-row seat to Utopia and all that. You could ask former Clinton aide Mark Middleton about it, but he’s dead.

Middleton is another in a long list of Clinton Crime Family ‘friends’ who have succumbed to a statistically improbable death. No one knows as many people who have died in unfortunate accidents or committed suicide as the Clintons, not even most combat vets. It defies probability.

But Mark was found shot in the chest with an extension cord around his neck tied to a tree like a noose (it’s okay, he’s white). Middleton is alleged to have been depressed and likely killed himself. Depressed by all evidence he could produce relating to the Clintons, Jeffrey Epstein, and others who made trips to his Pedo-Island?

Mark Middleton, 59, was a special advisor to the former president in the 1990s, authorizing Epstein’s visits to the White House seven out of the 17 times the infamous pedophile met with top government officials there. Additionally, he was also on the flight logs of Epstein’s private jet. According to the Perry County sheriff’s office, Middleton was found dead on May 7, 2022 with a gunshot wound to his chest and an extension cord tying his neck to a tree in Perryville, Arkansas.

It could be legitimate. He may have hung himself, and some passerby decided to shoot him (you can’t kill him again!), but why would they put the gun case and ammunition in Mark’s abandoned vehicle?

Did Mark have the gun in the event that his self-hanging didn’t kill him right off, and he found the strength to shoot himself in the chest if so, where’s the rifle? It is Arkansas. Maybe someone saw that perfectly good rifle out there and thought, we’d best get that inside before the weather ruins it. Aside from any risk of being associated with the murder of the dead man with the rifle wound in his chest nearby, that seems as likely as any other scenario.

As obtained by the Daily Mail, Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Lawson’s firsthand report on the mysterious death claims that “I could see what at first appeared to be a man sitting near a tree, as my eyes focused better, I could see a rope of some type going from the tree limb to the male.”

Or, maybe someone shot him and then hung him up, but that would be murder and the abrupt end of anything Mark Middleton might know about past Clinton Crime Family hijinks.

No such luck. It’s “obvious” that he “killed himself.” So obvious that the aforementioned ‘helpers’ pushing America off a cliff might want to take a breath and consider their priorities. America, as conceived and even in practice, was never meant to be perfect, but it was better than all the other forms of government. Its failings can, in fact, be linked directly to the things wrong with all those other forms to which it has devolved.

You could ask Seth Rich, but he died due to a fully clothed fatal bath/robbery incident in which nothing appears to have been stolen after he allegedly leaked politically damaging material about Democrats and the Democrat party.

Your absence of conscience is not protection. Misplacing your morals to advance the party agenda is required, but at no point should you assume your immoral life is worth a dime to these people if you know anything compromising about them. And if you doubt me, just consider how they apply the law to themselves compared to everyone else.

No law contains them or their goals; that is how the country will work. Rule of Man (woman, whatever). An armed aristocracy with useful idiots, of which you would be one if you think this ends any other way if we cannot advance rule of law before it’s too late. Everyone else is depressed, mentally unfit, and will either disappear, kill themselves, or volunteer for the nearest available assisted suicide program.

Or maybe it’s too late, and if that’s the case, we’re just waiting for the shooting war to start.

Vivek Ramaswamy Presidential Campaign 2/22/23: Questions: Central Bank Digital Currencies, Govt Forced to Follow Sarbanes-Oxley Itself

Granite Grok - Sat, 2023-02-25 23:30 +0000

So what are CBDCs? The acronym CBDC effectively will result, over time, in a cashless US society. Think of the badness and privacy concerns that will bring. When Drew Cline decided to open up questioning of Vivek to the audience, this was the first question asked.

CBDCs:

I was surprised as this is a rather wonky area, and not many folks even know it’s a “thing.”

In my opening “quick talk” for the event, my answer to his question at the Beyond the Soundbite Lecture of “what was the most important idea that came from our Founding Fathers was “That WE were the sovereigns and not Government” – a radical, almost heretical idea at the time.  Worthy of a death penalty back in those times of Monarchies and Kings reigned supreme.  Just like when Jesus told the Pharisees and Sadducees, “I and my Father are one” type of deal. Then they consorted with the Government of the time (the Roman Empire) to have him put to death on a Cross.

Yes, that big of a deal.

While your bank can track every single one of your expenditures now with your debit card and the credit card processors (Visa, Mastercard,  AmEx, Discover) via your credit cards, it will be Government instead.  It will most likely put almost all of the banks out of business – GOVERNMENT will be the banking system, and it will be able to track every dollar you spend.

Do YOU want your Government to know that – and then abuse that information? Trust me. Some bureaucrat will; remember Joe the Plumber disagreeing with Obama that “spreading the wealth around” wasn’t a good thing.  Yeah, Illinois bureaucrats broke the Law and policies and put out restricted information against Joe – can’t let ANYONE disagree with the LightBringer!

This idea is already in place. China, as part of its state surveillance system on everyone, has already implemented this. And as we know, if you do not act according to their precepts, you can be denied a job, a visa, a train ticket, or other things. A Despot’s complete control system – the East German Stasi could only envy such a system. Imagine going to the ATM to take out some money and being told “You had three Big Macs, got drunk, failed your college exam, got arrested for beating your kids, and disagreed with our Supreme Leader — NO cash for you!! Remember, Government owns your money – not you!”.

And the US Federal Reserve and some large US banks are already doing a pilot program on this!

Sarbanes-Oxley:

Another question that was asked of Vivek by an attendee was the general idea that when Government passes laws to regulate activities (and us), they should also apply them to Government as well. Unfortunately, that seldom happens now and is creating the perception that those in Government believe they are “above the rest of us” – and we’re back to the notion of a Neo-Aristocracy. The example that was brought up was that of Sarbanes-Oxley which was a new large accounting set of regulations that was passed after the financial disasters of a few companies, most notables Enron and WorldCom (some might remember it as MCI – the company that broke AT&T’s monopoly hold on long-distance telephone calls) whose fraudulent financials amounted to 10s of billions of dollars each. You don’t think that, at times, Government DOESN’T commit fraud itself?

What Gov. Chris Sununu Says He’s (Planning on) Doing About Illegal Northern Border Crossings in NH

Granite Grok - Sat, 2023-02-25 22:00 +0000

The question was recently asked whether Gov. Sununu would send National Guard troops to protect his border from the exponential spike in illegal crossings. It looks like we have an answer.

Related: Will Sununu Send Guard Troops to Defend New Hampshire’s Border?

.

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu told The Daily Signal his state is working to respond to the increase of encounters at the norther border as the “Biden administration has pulled back on northern border personnel and resources.”

“We are requesting a formal ICE delegation agreement with the federal government that would empower and allow our state and local law enforcement the ability to enforce immigration laws and apprehend illegal border crossings at our northern border in the absence of federal support,” he said.

Sununu has “proposed establishing the Northern Border Alliance Fund to make grants available to state, county, and local law enforcement agencies to reduce instances of crimes and illicit activity in close proximity to the Canadian border.” The proposal would cost “roughly [$1.5 million],” according to Sununu.

I don’t think he needs permission from the Feds to enforce the law. States have a right to protect themselves from invasion. We’ve got some content on that somewhere, but I was unable to locate it in time for publication. Suffice it to say that I get why Sununu wants a by-your-leave to enforce federal border law. He doesn’t want people to think he’s Joe Arpaio or some radical Republican going off half-cocked in defense of Americans or Granite Staters. God forbid.

No, I think he’s doing exactly what I predicted when news broke that 26 Republican Governors had signed on to an agreement to form a task force to coordinate resources to address crime related to Illegals operating in the country. Let them in, set up shop, and then talk to each other about the crime. They can ask other states for assistance, but each state pays its way.

No mention of that task force in the piece by The Daily Signal (c/o True North Reports), so was that just a paper tiger, or did someone miss the details? And no mention of the National Guard (per my earlier inquiry). That seems like a necessary step. Towns like Pittsburg, NH, which has a long border with Canada, are not blistering with Barney Fife’s napping at their desks. There are very few of them, but they have so much ground to cover it’s impossible to be effective if Canada is letting illegal “migrants” (probably unvaccinated) wander into the US.

They need backup. Assuming the Feds give Chris the nod, is the 1.5 million to pay for overtime and travel expenses to anyone who wants the work? How far does he think that 1.5 million will take us? The problem is not going away. Is Sununu only interested because it might play well for Republicans when he pulls the trigger on a run for the White House? Burnish the resume a bit.

If Biden’s Feds don’t give us the okay, what then? Politicize it and do nothing?

And that leaves us with this burning question. What does Gov. Sununu do if he does something and the expected rise in apprehensions leads to the Democrats accusing him of voter suppression?
