Elevated Risk of Myocarditis After mRNA Vaccinations

Thu, 2022-04-28 20:28 +0000

Will Jones, TCW Defending Freedom:  Covid vaccines raise risk of severe heart inflammation up to 120-fold, says study

COVID vaccination increases the risk of severe heart inflammation up to 120-fold, a major study from Scandinavia published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has found.

The study looked at more than 23million patient records covering the over-12 populations of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden from the start of the vaccine rollout in December 2020 to October 5 2021.

For young males aged 16-24 years within 28 days of a second dose the study found severe myocarditis (requiring inpatient hospital admission) around five times more common after Pfizer and 14 times more common after Moderna. This corresponded to six events per 100,000 people after Pfizer and 18 events per 100,000 after Moderna. A second dose of Moderna given after a first dose of Pfizer came with even higher risk: a 36-fold increased risk, corresponding to 27 events per 100,000 people. The Moderna vaccine has three times the dose of mRNA of the Pfizer vaccine, which the authors suggest lies behind the increased risk.

[...]

The authors conclude the risks ‘should be balanced against the benefits of protecting against severe Covid-19 disease’. However, given the extremely low risk of Covid to healthy young males and the considerably elevated risk of severe myocarditis following vaccination – plus the risks associated with other adverse effects, short and long term – it’s hard to see how it could be worth it, or why these vaccines have not already been withdrawn for younger age groups.

Did You Ever Imagine America Would Have a Ministry of Truth?

Thu, 2022-04-28 20:13 +0000

Mark Wauck:  Disinformation Governance Board: An Idea Whose Time Has Come?

[I]n a global world economy, it becomes increasingly difficult to separate foreign and domestic policy. Thus we see the push to bind the US to foreign treaties and agreements without going through the treaty ratification process as envisioned in the Constitution. Many of those agreements have an effect on domestic policy that should normally be decided by Congress. This is all in line with the aims of the New World Order, the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) goal for Global Corporatism/Fascism (cf., for example, Doc Malone: WEF: A Trade Organization on Steroids).

Preeminently, the Senate’s authority over war making has been preempted by the Rules-Based Order, as we see increasingly (Where The War Is At, 4/28/22). US officials, in coordination with foreign powers in the Anglosphere, are openly making public statements that, in any real world understanding, amount to declarations of war against major world powers, such as Russia and China. But war of this sort is something that can’t be done by stealth, as in our GWOT. Thus, the need to shape America’s information environment—to preempt narratives that conflict with the government narrative. Which happens to be the Deep State/Neocon narrative. Thus, the Disinformation Governance Board is an idea whose time has come for America. The public announcement actually specifies “Russia” as a focus for disinforming the American public and the head of the disinformation board checks all the usual Neocon boxes—even “advising” Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry—so it all fits in with the war effort of the Rules-Based Order.

Among other accounts, PJMedia’s stands out:

Politico is reporting:

DHS is standing up a new Disinformation Governance Board to coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia. Nina Jankowicz will head the board as executive director. She previously was a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center, advised the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as part of the Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship and oversaw Russia and Belarus programs at the National Democratic Institute. (h/t Daniel Lippman)

Why would a DHS program focus solely on “irregular migration and Russia”? … are these just the most politically dangerous narratives for the Left to lose control over?

Twitter to Accept Elon Musk’s $43 Billion Bid

Mon, 2022-04-25 15:13 +0000

Reuters:  Twitter set to accept Musk's $43 billion offer

NEW YORK, April 25 (Reuters) - Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) is poised to agree a sale to Elon Musk for around $43 billion in cash, the price the CEO of Tesla has called his "best and final" offer for the social media company, people familiar with the matter said.

Twitter may announce the $54.20-per-share deal later on Monday once its board has met to recommend the transaction to Twitter shareholders, the sources said, adding it was still possible the deal could collapse at the last minute.

Musk, the world's richest person according to Forbes, is negotiating to buy Twitter in a personal capacity and Tesla (TSLA.O) is not involved in the deal.

Twitter has not been able to secure so far a 'go-shop' provision under its agreement with Musk that would allow it to solicit other bids once the deal is signed, the sources said. Still, Twitter would be allowed to accept an offer from another party by paying Musk a break-up fee, the sources added.

The sources requested anonymity because the matter is confidential. Twitter and Musk did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Twitter shares were up 4.5% in pre-market trading in New York at $51.15.

Clinton Campaign's FEC Fine May Return to Haunt

Mon, 2022-04-25 13:21 +0000

Last month the Federal Election Commission fined Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee for falsely reporting certain campaign expenditures.  The campaign and the DNC paid over $1 million to the law firm Perkins Coie.  Perkins Coie used the funds to pay Fusion GPS for the now thoroughly discredited Steele Dossier.

The money was reported on FEC forms as “legal advice and services,” but the Steele Dossier offered no legal advice.  Instead, it made a variety of claims intended to show that Donald Trump was somehow under the control of Vladimir Putin.  The Clinton campaign and the DNC paid the fines.

And that may come back to haunt them.

Margot Cleveland:  Letter: No, Hillary Clinton Can’t Try To Hide 2016 Oppo Research From The Special Counsel

Foundation counsel Dan Backer added that while the memorandum is not yet public, the special counsel’s office would likely be able to obtain it directly from the FEC. That memorandum also will provide Durham’s team further details on the FEC’s investigation and fact-finding that may be useful to the special counsel in the Sussmann litigation, noted the letter.

In Friday’s letter, Backer also highlighted Hillary for America and the DNC’s commitment in their settlement agreement with the FEC to “not further contest the Commission’s finding of probable cause to believe” that the political organizations had “falsely reported their payments through Perkins Coie to Fusion GPS as being for legal services.” In contrast, in the Sussmann case, Hillary for America and the DNC “are nevertheless asserting materials generated by Fusion GPS and provided to Perkins Coie are protected by attorney-client privilege and work-product doctrine,” the letter stressed.  (Bold added)

“The Government should not permit HFA and the DNC to adopt conflicting positions in different proceedings, depending on the federal agency against which they are litigating,” the foundation’s letter concluded, suggesting the trial court may find those breaches of the settlement agreement “material in ruling on any privilege claims.”

Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI, was on.  Bonchie of RedState was unimpressed:  The FBI's Grotesque Rehab Tour Commences

Christopher Wray, the current FBI Director, fought tooth and nail to cover up the FISA abuse that targeted Trump associates, slow-walking releases, and never actually disciplining anyone substantially for what happened. All the while, he adopted the leftwing talking point of “white supremacy” being the preeminent threat in the land.

As an aside, can you name the last notable white supremacist attack without googling it (i.e. one that rises above a local crime story)? It’d have to be the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting, right? That was in 2018, four years ago. Sure, white supremacy, like all grotesque, hateful ideologies, will always pose some threat, but does that sound like the most pressing domestic threat in the nation to you? Of course, the recent rash of black supremacist attacks has not drawn any public declaration from the FBI.

Back to Wray, though, his masterpiece happened just prior to the 2020 election. In a move tailor-made to influence the presidential election, the FBI arrested multiple people for supposedly plotting a “right-wing” plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Headlines screamed about the dangers of “radicalization” posed by Republican candidates, specifically Donald Trump.

That all blew up in the spring of 2022. As RedState reported (see here and here), multiple defendants were acquitted while the jury hung on others because the FBI obviously entrapped them. Wray’s “good guys” essentially invented a plot, recruited vulnerable individuals into it, and pushed them to try to execute it. And it all just so happened to play into the left’s narrative right before a major election. What a coincidence, right? I could get into the FBI’s insanely biased tactics regarding January 6th as well, but I think anyone reading this is well aware of them.

Now, the FBI’s rehab tour has commenced. Wray appeared on 60 Minutes on Sunday, touting how great he is and singing the praises of the bureau. Here’s what that nauseating spectacle looked like.

Former DNI Director Predicts More Indictments

Mon, 2022-04-25 11:58 +0000

Just the News:  Ex-National Intelligence Director predicts more indictments in Durham probe

Former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe predicts more indictments will come from classified documents from special counsel John Durham's investigation.

"The coordinated effort here that took place in 2016 was wide and broad," Ratcliffe told the Charlie Kirk Show last week, The Epoch Times reported. "I think it involved folks in the Clinton campaign, in the Democratic national party, elected officials, media officials, folks that coordinated — intelligence community officials, and on down the line."

Durham is involved in two active prosecutions stemming from his Trump-Russia collusion probe. Former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussman faces an upcoming trial after Durham charged him with lying to the FBI. Durham charged Russia analyst Igor Danchenko late last year with five counts of lying to the government.

How Things Stand — Durham vs. The Swamp

Mon, 2022-04-25 11:15 +0000

Petr Svab of the Epoch Times summarizes the current state of Durham's investigations.

Recent filings in the Sussmann case revealed that the lawyer, formerly with the DOJ, peddled to the CIA data that showed supposedly suspicious existence of a Russian-made phone in Trump’s vicinity. The CIA assessed the data was “user-created,” possibly fabricated, and contradicted itself, according to Durham’s team.

Earlier this week, Sussmann, the Clinton campaign, the DNC, Sussmann’s former employer and law firm Perkins Coie, Fusion GPS (retained by Perkins Coie to research Trump), and several Clinton operatives asked the court to prevent revelation of certain emails and documents that they say are protected by attorney-client privilege. They largely argue that Perkins Coie was hired by the Clinton campaign to provide legal services and the research on Trump was done to support those services and is thus covered by the privilege. The Durham team disputes that.

The trial is scheduled for mid-May.

The Durham team in recent court documents hinted at an assertion that there was a conspiracy between the various operatives tied to the Clinton campaign. Criminal conspiracy is a federal crime, but it needs to be tied to an underlying crime. Two or more people have to agree to break a federal law and then take at least one “overt act”—even if innocuous on its own—to carry out the plan. Durham has so far brought no conspiracy charges.

John Ratcliffe, the former director of national intelligence under Trump, said last year he believes “there will be many indictments based on the intelligence that I gave to John Durham and that I have seen.”

We certainly hope there will be more indictments, but The Swamp is alive and well.  The last paragraph of Svab's article:

The judge in the Sussmann case, Christopher Reid Cooper, used to be a colleague of Sussmann’s at the DOJ. His wife, Amy Jeffress, is a lawyer for Lisa Page, formerly a high-level FBI attorney who’s now suing the DOJ. Page was deeply embedded in the Russia investigation. She was also a mistress of Peter Strzok, former head of FBI counterintelligence operations and a point man in the Russia probe. Cooper and Jeffress also have close ties to the Democratic Party. Cooper served on the 2008 transition team of President Barack Obama, Jeffress spent 20 years at the DOJ and was a national security counselor for Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, and their wedding was officiated by Merrick Garland, the current Attorney General.

Wikipedia Aids Biden Crime Family Coverups

Sun, 2022-04-24 11:26 +0000

New York Post:  Wikipedia deletes entry for Hunter Biden investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners

Wikipedia editors removed the entry for Rosemont Seneca Partners earlier this week on the ground that it was “not notable,” archived comments from its Talk Page reveal.

The deletion happened Wednesday. The investment company co-founded by Hunter Biden has been at the heart of numerous questions surrounding his overseas business dealings.

“This organization is only mentioned in connection with its famous founders, Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz,” said a Wiki editor identified only as Alex who additionally warned that “keeping it around” ran the risk of the page becoming “a magnet for conspiracy theories about Hunter Biden.”
